The service especially Madam Singh. The location bus almost outside the door. The room had view to the lake.

Wall to wall Carpet on the floor of the room. Very clean room bed and bathroom. But carpet was full of spots. Although well vacuumed. Need either laminate floor or tiles on the floor.

The staff was unbelievably helpful and very gracious. Special mention for Ms. Kamal at the reception who handled our requests with utmost patience and was very knowledgeable about museums and bus routes. The room though small was very comfortable, had an air conditioner which we needed for a few hours and was very clean. The location was amazing with a great view of Lake Geneva from our 6th floor window. Lots of nice cafes and stores near the hotel. We walked to the lake several times. The hotel is away from the crowds and only a 10 minute bus ride(No. 1) from the train station. They even give a city travel pass. Highly recommended.

Reception lady on arrival was very informative and welcoming providing local knowledge and tips for our stay. Steam room and Sauna were included which was an extra bonus we didn’t know about. Spacious room with fab views. Grocery shop and bakers just next door.

The reception was not manned every time so had to find someone to get our key so we ended up just carrying it with us for convenience. One of the bottles of water provided was opened and half empty, we asked this to be changed but it wasn’t. Although it didn’t affect us it is worth noting that the hotel from station and lake is a steep walk.

Excellent location near the lake and center. They kindly upgraded me to a double room on the top floor with a city view and 2 terraces. The room was very spacious and cozy! Wonderful staff - Thomas at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff was very kind as well, a lady even helped me turn on the heater since it started to get a bit cold towards the end of my stay. Bonus points for the free city card they provide upon check in, it comes in handy to get around the city. Parking is convenient, located right behind the building for a reasonable price.

One thing to note is that the bathroom doesn’t have an actual door. No big deal if traveling alone, but something to keep in mind if you’re not traveling with people/someone you’re super close to.

Our room had a terrific view over Lac Léman to the mountains beyond. Area was peaceful with an easy 20 minutes walk from the train station.

I didn't like the frosted glass door to the ensuite bathroom. Bathrooms should always have a solid door. The hotel decor is dated but the place is clean.

Excellent hôtel in all aspect, polite and nice reception, hotel well situated, nice bedroom and good pillows which is often not the case even with higher star hotels. Excellent breakfast, and considerably better than my stay at a 4star hotel in Zurich.

Toilet room small, but who cares ... I am there only for few minutes per day.

This was a wonderful large room for a city centre hotel. There is car parking on site. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and when we had a problem were very efficient in helping to address it. Very clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Also easy with our dog, which is unusual for city stays - grass and easy walking behind the hotel. Lift right by the doors. Excellent.

Nice location just outside city center with good transport connections. It is quiet and cozy place, which although in an old building, is brought up to modern look and feel. Very cheerful and helpful staff.

They provide coffee capsules and the respective coffee machine in the room, just like most of the hotels, not only in Switzerland, but also around Europe. There were two capsules in on the first day, and no subsequent resupply. On our inquiry as to why, we were informed that it is too expensive to provide for each day, and we can buy additional ones if we want. We were able to buy a box of 33 capsules for 4CHF, so it seems ridiculous to suggest price is what matters, on a >CHF 100 room per night. I realize it is a minor nuisance, but every other hotel I have been in, resupplied each morning.

The hotel was much nicer than expected-it’s an old property but has been refurbished to a high standard. We had a small balcony overlooking the lake. The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean.

Laussanne isn’t a nice place. The area was very run down and dirty.

The views of my room were gorgeous. Overlooking Lake Léman, with visitas reaching to the French coast. The room was of a comfortable size with very good amenities.

I didn't have breakfast, but the bar affiliated with the hotel looked a little run down.
