Maggie is such a caring host, she can never do enough and checks in to see if all okay or if you need any extra items but also doesn't intrude and allows you time to just relax while you're staying here. We have been several times and am always grateful when I see they have availability for upcoming trips as we really wouldn't want to stay elsewhere. See you soon :)
There was nothing to dislike - apart from the glorious stormy weather, which is nothing to do with the hosts or the venue! We had a power cut on our last morning, but Maggie was on hand to offer flasks of hot water etc if we needed them for a cup of tea etc.

The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable, quiet, a lovely garden to relax in. Maggie, the owner (living next door) was unobtrusive, but responsive to any request we had.
These are not things we did not like, but they are things that might not meet everyone's requirements. There are no pubs/restaurants within reasonable walking distance. You'll probabvly need to drive to one. No problem for us, but may be for others. And if you like your bacon and egg at breakfast you'll have to find a local cafe. The breakfast provided by the host in the room, cereal, toast, biscuits and cake was exactly what we wanted, but again, others may prefer a cooked breakfast.

The room has been beautifully decorated and has a high ceiling with narrow black beams. It has a lot of character. It was a new experience for us having breakfast independently in the room, and we enjoyed the freedom it gave us to have breakfast whenever we wanted. Maggie provides a good choice of cereals, yogurt, orange juice, muffins and having a toaster was useful. (Bread, butter and jam/marmalade are also provided.) The view from the room is over the countryside (there was a dramatic sunset on our first evening) and there are patio doors and a small grassed area with seats outside. We often get lost close to holiday properties in the countryside (because the post code covers too big an area) but using what3words worked brilliantly and we found the property without any issues. I was also impressed with the detailed information Maggie sent us once we had booked.
Nothing.

The room was not extremely large, but had all the amenities, comfort, ... For me, the bed was a tad small, but being 6'7", I am used to that; the road was a bit noisy at times, but all in all, a very pleasant stay. My host, Maggie, greeted me and showed me around; she enquired on a regular basis if I needed anything. Everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was provided in the cupboard / fridge, which was simple but good.
Given the dates (around one of the Goodwood main events), pricing was not really cheap, but it was close enough to the venue (10 minutes away).

Good size room and bathroom with very comfortable bed. Very quiet so we could sleep well. Ample breakfast provided which we could enjoy at our leisure. Breakfast items restocked on request. We particularly liked the selection of fruit provided. Bathroom had an excellent shower over the bath and the radiator was on so the towels dried well. Private parking space and excellent location for a break. Outside seating was provided but sadly we could not enjoy because of the weather. We look forward to a return visit when the weather is nicer.

The room had the wow factor as we walked in. The bed was comfy and the shower really good. The basket of breakfast items was great and fridge handy for a few extra bits and pieces. Maggie was friendly and replied to requests very quickly. Peaceful location of Garden Room with aspect over fields was perfect. Good to have hair straighteners. Convenient for exploring Chichester and Chichester Harbour, and close to Bognor Regis.
Nothing to dislike. A little extra information about things to do or walks nearby would be handy.

The room was lovely. Great views outside, well equipped with tea, coffee, biscuits, yogurts, breakfast cereal, etc. The bathroom had a bath and a shower over the top of the bath, both worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, the heating we could adapt to suit our needs. Ideal location for travelling to Portsmouth, Hayling Island, Pagham beach, Bognor and of course Chichester. Maggie was lovely and friendly, very helpful without intruding. We loved it so much that we've booked to go back later in the year!!

Furnishings are excellent quality, lots of thoughtful touches e.g. blanket for sitting outside, washing up liquid etc Owners are great communicators. Changed some breakfast items for our dietary needs no problem. Good info inside property. Lovely bath & shower & plenty of hot water. Beautiful countryside / surroundings.
Nothing major at all, thoroughly recommend. Take your time getting into the drive as it’s quite tight. Only 1 parking per cottage . Use what-3-words to get exact location, Apple maps took us couple of miles up the road, but thanks to great directions within welcome email we found it .

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our little welcome text from Maggie was just the icing on the cake really - she really paid attention to the finer details in the room as well - the breakfast supplies were outstanding, and we may have overindulged as a result! The bathroom was lovely and clean, supplied with everything we needed.
It was all perfect. Nothing to dislike. If we were being really picky, we'd have liked it to not be raining so we could enjoy the surroundings a bit more - but that is absolutely nothing to do with the host or the accommodation.

The peaceful and comfortable room with a beautiful view was perfect. The bed, seating area, and high ceilings all contributed to a relaxing stay. The convenience of having a fridge, kettle, and toaster in the room was a great bonus. I highly recommend staying here, and even if you don’t drive, getting a taxi is simple. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and the place has an interesting historical background as well.
