We loved the luxurious feel of the property, with carefully chosen furniture in keeping with the property. We loved the sitting area with the log burner, it was a lovely place to chill with a glass of wine in the evening after walking during the day. The attention to detail was very much appreciated, for example the cafetiere in the room with fresh coffee & fresh milk and luxurious cotton bedding and towels. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The hosts were friendly and keen to make our stay exceptional, without being intrusive.

The breakfast was fantastic and value for money, perfect portions and perfectly cooked. They also use all local produce and we could eat in the garden or dining room. We received a very warm welcome from Peter, he explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable about the area. The whole stay was very relaxing, we arrived as guests and left as friends, we will be staying again.

There was nothing tha i didn't like because everything was absolutely fabulous, clean, comfortable and picturesque. Have your morning coffee by the pond and watch the fish.

Breakfast was fab, the choice was great and well cooked by the chef. our room was comfortable and had everything that we needed for an overnight stay. Our hosts were interesting to chat to and the coffee and biscuits when we arrived were very welcome.

Everything at The Old School B&B is perfect. The whole place is wonderfully looked after you feel right at home. Our hosts were so incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculately clean, so well equipped and cosy and the wider facilities like the sitting room and dining room are just as lovely. The food was amazing - would fully recommend for anyone staying in the area!

It's not often I feel compelled to write a review but sat up in bed here in a beautiful room perfectly made with crisp white sheets and pillows to die for I felt I really should. We're lucky enough to travel quite often and to stay in some amazing hotels, villas, Airbnb's, and everything in between all around Europe and lots of the world. This little B&B doesn't come up short when you compare it to most we have stayed in and when so much hard work has clearly been put in to make their guest so welcome you have to do your bit to say thank you and write a review. It's beautifully decorated, with good quality everything. As I've already mentioned the bed is lovely, complemented with lovely furniture and rugs covering a perfectly restored wooden floor. Calm colours create a relaxed atmosphere and our ensuite bathroom with shower over the top just makes this a great place to stay. The Breakfast was to die for with fabulous quality everything, from real apple and orange juice to cereals and toast to the full English we enjoyed. Thank you I didn't eat another thing until dinner. If you're looking for a place to stay and explore the surrounding area then you couldn't base yourself from a better place. I am very happy to thoroughly recommend this lovely little place.

The breakfast was exceptional. Absolutely delicious, and cooked beautifully ! The Room was comfy and bright, looking on to the very well kept and interesting Garden. The Shower was roomy, and very easy to use. Great towels. The Hosts were very charming, and easy company, nothing was too much trouble. We were delighted with our stay, thank you.

Peter and David were extremely welcoming hosts, making my wife and I feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Old School B&B is very well appointed, furniture and furnishings all complimenting each other beautifully. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really well laid out and roomy. Well situated for trips into Chichester and the surrounding areas too. The breakfasts were simply gorgeous (David is a great cook and Peter makes sure you have everything you need ). When we arrived back at the accommodation in the afternoon we were always greeted with a warm welcome, genuine interest in our day and a lovely cup of coffee or tea with biscuits. What’s not to like? We would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Chichester, a real find and so well run by the hosts - a great job - thank you.

There was nothing to dislike!

We were warmly welcomed by our host Peter, and from the moment we sat down in the cosy guest lounge with tea and shortbread, we felt at home. The whole property has been decorated with care and great style. Our room was very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent and the bed- and bath-linens were of excellent quality. Everything was spotlessly clean. WiFi was good in all areas for those that need it, but we were enjoying the chance to chill out and relax. Breakfast was pre-ordered to minimise food waste. Both the quality and the portion size were excellent. The food was beautifully presented and a feast for the eyes as well as tasting delicious. We didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Location is great. Despite the quiet, rural feeling, it is very close to Chichester, Goodwood and the coast. Directions were clear and we had no problem in finding our way. Off street parking is a bonus. The whole experience was fabulous - we hope to be back before too long.

It was perfect - I can’t think of anything which could be improved

It’s easy to run out of superlatives to describe how wonderful it is to stay here. This was 2nd visit so I will simply say it was like visiting old friends who know how to look after you. Getting ‘home’ in evening to find the fire lit and room warm, we were able to kick back have a tea and relax.

My husband and I have just had an exceptional night’s stay at this property. We stayed in the Florence Humphreys room which was spotlessly clean with lots of added little luxuries provided such as toiletries and tissues all being environmentally friendly. Peter and David were warm and welcoming hosts from the moment we arrived. We were offered tea and biscuits which we enjoyed in the communal sitting room. Breakfast was wonderful and the quality of the ingredients very high. We were even offered, and accepted, to try some homemade rhubarb and ginger jam which was delicious. The property itself is delightful and full of charm with lots of history, more of which we learnt about during our stay. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It is wonderful and you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
