The location was perfect - right in the center of it all! Walking distance to Kastro, all the little cafes and restaurants, and of course, to the church of Panagia to see the sunset….I would stay here again. The staff was super friendly – they picked us up and dropped us off at the port without charging us anything.

The only “problem” we encountered was that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, which was easy to work around.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Hotel Paraporti in Chora, Folegandros. The host, Kostas, and his father, George, were warm and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The hotel is situated right next to the historical Kastro and less than two minutes walk to the central square of Chora. The apartment was spacious, neat and spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed to prepare some of our meals ourselves. Kostas organised transfer from Parikia to Chora on the day of our arrival and back to the the harbour on the day of our departure. We loved this place!

The location is just epic, right in the heart of most happening square in Chora, just walk out the apartment compound, voila, The best part of the apartment is the balcony, imagine eating breakfast in the balcony and viewing the Panagia without having to leave your apartment / balcony. The hotel offers free pickup and drop off from port, I really appreciate this great service.

As soon as we arrived at the port the host welcomed us with a warm smile and helped with our luggage. He was very friendly and polite. When we got to the hotel he gave us information about the area, the way to access the beach and he told us to feel free to ask him anything anytime! The room was very nice and clean, the furniture seemed very new and the bathroom aswell. There were hangers in the wardrobe in order to hang our clothes. The location was perfect, as it was only a few steps away from all the restaurants and shops, as well as only a few minutes away from the bus stop taking us to the beach and port. There was even a toaster, to prepare our breakfast and glasses, plates and cutlery, which was very convenient. It felt like home. We really enjoyed our stay, totally recommend this place and I would totally choose it for my next visit! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Loved it all! Great location, huge balcony, beautiful views, quiet,hot shower, close to everything! Staff, though spoke little English, was great ..especially George ..always smiles! Easy to rent a car and drive on the island...just need for 1 day. Eat at Eik. Request room 12.

Everything was perfect, very cozy place, beautiful view, lovely people, located in the heart of the center (close to chora’s squares and beautiful sunsets points). if there’s space in the courtyard you can even park scooters and quads. otherwise the city parkings / bus stop are very close (max 5 min walk). thanks for everything

We got a ferry over to Folegandros and the host picked us up from the port without any problems. We got to our hotel and checked in which went smoothly. Our room was extremely spacious with a lovely bathroom and huge balcony. The location of this hotel is great as it is right in the centre so only a very short walk to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if we were to visit in the future. The host then took us back to the port when we left to catch our ferry to Santorini.

Hotel was great, nothing to dislike!

We enjoyed our stay at Paraporti. The quiet hotel sits by itself behind the traditional church on the edge of the magical Chora Village. There are fantastic panorama views of the cliffs of the volcano from many areas of the village. Colorful houses, small shops, travel office, and many outdoor restaurants right around the corner. (No cars or motorcycles allowed in the village.) Each room has a terrace or balcony opening up to a well-maintained courtyard. Our room was spacious and clean with a kitchenette.The owner and his family were friendly and helpful. They provided transportation to and from the ferry port, which was very helpful. The path winding up to the Church of Panagia is just steps away from the hotel. The path offers fantastic views, especially at sunset. We highly recommend Paraporti and wish we could have stayed longer!

I loved Folegandros island and the location of this accomodation. It was close to the main bus stop and centre with amazing restaurants and also small supermarkets. The owners were super friendly and you felt like you were staying with a 'family' and nothing was too much trouble. The room and kitchenette facilities were basic but they had everything I needed and being a solo traveller I felt really comfortable and welcomed.

As the name implies, it is located just outside the entrance to the Castro/ Hora, the central village of the island. Just in the middle/centre of everything.. View was stunning, all around Room was very nice, not very spacious but just enough for two, very bright too with 3 windows and a balcony door, giving to a huge terrace! The owners very friendly and polite Helped with the luggage and drove us to the port when leaving for free. I certainly recommend it
