This was our 4th time in Brauhof Wien hotel and hotel was excellent as always. Room was very clean, big, with every day cleaning, with bathrobe and sleepers, very comfortable beds and with a little chocolate on pillow every day after cleaning which was a nice touch after our all-day walking. Parking for your car (if you need it) is great and it is in inner courtyard of hotel, so it's very safe and accessible if you need you car through your stay. Location of hotel is perfect, it is about 500m from subway station line U3 that is line that goes to very center of Vienna, at Stephansplaz and cathedral. There is also line U6 on that station. If you want to walk (as we were doing every day), you need about 30 minutes to get to center, at Opera state house and Sacher cafe and further through walking zone Kartner Strasse (with many shops) to Stephansplaz with cathedral. Hotel itself is very cosy, clean, with great ala card restaurant where you can order fantastic meals (burgers and Cesar salad are FANTASTIC) and they have big open terrace in inner courtyard. For hotel breakfast there is great variety of sweet and savory food, fresh vegetables and fruits, fantastic different kind of bread and croissant and very good coffee. Staf is very helpful, polite and friendly and they will go above and beyond to help you with everything. It is excellent value for money and you won't find better hotel than this so it's for every recommendation. Looking forward to come back!

My room at the Brauhof Wien was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. It was literally spotless. I cannot imagine how much time the cleaning service puts into making the rooms look the way they look. Thank you! The room in the beautiful old building provides an authentic Viennese experience, it has a hardwood floor, an exceptionally high ceiling and huge ceiling-high windows that can be opened in full (using the authentic old mechanism). These windows, of course, provide lots of natural light. The room is also modernly equipped - it has a modern wardrobe (huge, even though the room was for one), a large writing desk, a huge TV (I especially appreciated that the TV could be moved - I could watch it from different parts of the room). The wi-fi was stable and good throughout my stay. The bedding was warm and the heating was sufficient. It could be regulated from within the room. Last but not least, during my two-night stay I communicated with three different staff members at the reception desk, and they were all equally wonderful, highly professional and efficient. The level of cleanliness and the excellent staff would be enough to recommend this hotel, but it has many other bonuses. I did not try the food and the beer, maybe next time!

This is not something that bothered me, but it should be mentioned. It is true that at times it takes ten seconds or so for the warm water to come, but this is normal in an old building. If you wish to appreciate a genuine experience, this is a small price to pay. It is also true that there is no soundproofing, but the building is beautiful and old and I suppose it would be very difficult to have it soundproofed. It would also ruin the muffled sound of the Viennese wind that can be appreciated in a warm room :-) If someone is a light sleeper, they can bring earplugs in case there is some noise. The possible sounds of neighbours in the hotel building are not a reason to miss out on this great experience.

Have stayed here about 5 times in the last 18 months and I always have been really pleased. It’s a great location, central to everything. The bathrooms are always clean and have great lighting. The beds are comfortable. The staff are so welcoming. And the restaurant is decent too.

Everything was good and clean, staff was very kind and attentive. With that price it was a very good stay worth the money. Coffee machine would add value. AC was perfect.

nothing as such though the Minibar was removed from the room. At least I didn't see it.

Everything was excellent, better than we expected! Room was big, clean and wonderful on the 1st floor with view on the main street but with double windows so we could sleep peacefully without any noise. You have a metro station near hotel, some 200m from hotel or you can walk though Mariahilferstrasse street down to the Opera house, you need about 30 minutes. Breakfast is fantastic with various choices and there is something for everyone. Hotel also has a great parking in inside courtyard that is paid by day and a wonderful restaurant / brewery - don't miss their burgers, one of best we have ever had! Stuff is so polite and helpful, special thanks to ms Ellvira Kurtovic, she kindly and swiftly help us with our reservation and did everything she can to help us. Hotel for every recommendation! We will be back for sure!

This is a lovely hotel and the rooms are really large and spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable, pillows perfect too. There was a desk, great TV and aircon as well. The windows ppened to the street as well. The room was on the main street, but very quiet because of the double glazing. The hotel has all the modern comforts. Fridge, good wifi. Big bathroom with generous shower. We parked the car onsite (21 euro per day) and it was secure and part of the hotel. The hotel is very close to all the public transport, which is so easy to use and we caught trams and trains into the city and further afield. We had breakfast close by at Magazza Deli which was fabulous.

I am writing this review gladly because this hotel exceeded my expectations. Room and bathroom were huge, brand new and very clean. What is really important to me, windows can be opened to get fresh air in. Room actually looked much better than shown on Booking photos which don't do any justice to the hotel. Staff is very kind and helpful and they serve really good breakfast. Location is excellent and very easy to reach from the airport. You can take a bus to Westbanhof, departing from the bus stop no.7. It takes around 40 minutes to reach Westbanhof from the airport. When you exit the bus, make sure the front of the Westbanhof is on your right hand side and walk alongside the building for around 200 meters to the first traffic light. On traffic light turn right, staying on the same side of the street and after some 500-600 meters you will reach the hotel. My journey from Vienna airport to the hotel costed eight euro. To the city centre, go back to Westbanhof, take the tube U3 and after five stops you will be on the Stephansplatz.

My flight was delayed and I reached the hotel around 1 am. I was desperately missing tea kettle to make a cup of tea. That is the only thing that is missing in the hotel. Breakfast restaurant is a bit noisy because all plates and cutlery are sorted in the same room.

We have just stopped for 3 nights at the Brauhof Hotel and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little quirky with a big emphasis on craft/real ales, with a really big pleasant outside seating area. The staff were friendly and informative. Our room was large and comfortable but with few home comforts. For €110 Euros a night we didn't even have any tea or coffee facilities in the room which was a big draw back. Even a small continental breakfast we believe should have been included in that price but this had to be paid for separately if not pre booked. We ate on 2 nights in the bar area which was very pleasant and fairly priced. The hotel was reasonably convenient for getting to the main tourist hotspots but this involved a 30 minute walk. It is in close proximity to all transport hubs including trams, buses and trains. Overall we enjoyed but next time we'll take a travel kettle with us !!

Beautiful building. Nice bar/restaurant. Great food. Very clean rooms. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good location just outside city centre. Public transport outside and U station 5 mins down the road. The small free chocolate sweet left on the bed was a nice touch.

We didn't have any view outside our window, just walls and some other windows. We couldn't see the sky. We were told in a message that we had a room on the 2nd floor as we had requested, but our room was on the 1st floor. A tea/coffee in the room would have been very welcome although we did get a free bottle of water.

Friendly staff and willing to help. The location was good, 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The room was quite clean and spacious. The value for money was very good considering the holiday season and the prices of other accommodations.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor. Then you have to walk to the 3rd floor. I believe our room was the last one which made it difficult with the luggage. The room does not have a kettle / cups but if you ask in the reception they give you one and they are very helpful.
