From the warm and professional welcoming to the moment we left, we felt so spoiled by the lovely people working in Sa Cheya. Breakfast is varied and delicious with a wide range of homemade, both savoury and sweet choices. Our bedroom was spacious, bright, and comfortable with two terraces to chill and lounge. Last but not least, the swimming pool and the gardens are perfectly curated, providing an unparalleled relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday this is definitely a special place!

That I had to leave

We spent three wonderful days at this superb hotel in Alghero. The first thing I noticed was the hospitality and warmth of the people who work in the hotel. We would like to especially thank Mrs. Debora who prepared us a delicious breakfast every morning, a perfect espresso and who, with her good mood, made us have a wonderful start of the day. Also, all the hotel staff were extremely kind throughout our stay. The room is large, clean, bright and with a huge terrace. The bathroom is very clean and equipped with everything you need. If we return to Alghero, this hotel will definitely be the best choice! Thank you for everything!

We liked the position of the hotel in the beautiful unspoilt countryside. The swimming pool and sunbeds were a lovely facility to come back to everyday after touring. The room we had had a large balcony and was air conditioned.. The staff were very attentive to all our needs.Their was a nice restaurant on site where you could get an evening meal with a discount for guests.Because otherwise one has to get in their car and drive into Alghero for night time drinks with a nominated driver who can't have a drink.

We were disappointed with there being no full time sit down bar that guests could spend time in the evenings. The hotel more or less operates as a bed & breakfast set up, with very little to do in the evening time but stay in your room with no opportunity to mix with other guests in the dark hours . The only communal room was the breakfast room which was all in darkness after 8 or 9 pm at night. Overall the hotel has the potential to be a great venue, but appart from the staff who were wonderful, the management should look at other hotels which provide low key entertainment at evening time for their guests.

Perfect hotel, in a beautiful, quiet, romantic, rural location. The cleanliness and equipment of the room are perfect, a huge balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast great. The ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful, especially Betty (I love you, Betty). A perfect stay in a beautiful place, we would love to come back and I definitely recommend it to other visitors.

Very clean and the best staff in Sardinia. Property is a bit dated but retro is coming back.. pool is great 20 odd meters, clean and not so busy for us.. plenty of beds and again friendly staff. Accompanied by a lovely restaurant, VilaSol this place has it all for the perfect relaxing break…

Def need a car to get here. A but out of town but we’ll worth it for the calm, relaxed atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Sa Cheya in July.

From the moment we arrived we found all of the staff to be friendly, helpful. Anna & Karen at reception were very welcoming and from Elena's extra breakfast coffees each norning to Michel's afternoon mojitos by the pool we were looked after really well and made to feel at home throughout the week. We'll be back, Ciao!

Location: Its a bit further away from the Centre but in a very nice/quiet area (10min by car). You will need a car to go everywhere but parking is free and better to have a car to explore the island. Room: Amazing! Very spacious with queen bed, mini fridge with beer, wine, water, etc (charged but still...). Bathroom was big and separate from bedroom which for me was a plus! Hot water and good pressure. I believe the A/C control was broken but the temperature wasn't an issue as it was always comfortable in the room and we didnt find the need to ask reception. Pool is the selling point! Huge, beautiful and warm-ish. There was a bar but we did not order from there as we only used the pool one day (shame really our days were packed) Breakfast was good with lots of options in a buffet style (eggs, croissant, breads, juices, cheese, ham, etc). I thought it was a bit expensive but there are not other options nearby. Restaurant was nice and food was good. Reasonable priced and they let us bring the wine bottle back to our room to finish there! Very convenient too Staff was super nice and helpful helped us every time we needed and made sure we felt welcomed! I loved the hotel and would be happy to stay here again

The only faulty point was the breakfast organization. I believe there were only 2 people working and definitely not enough for breakfast run. They were not able to clean and set up the tables after guests leaves. Most of the tables were still with plates/food when we arrived for breakfast. The waitresses were very kind and nice and kept apologizing. Other than that it was good

The room was very clean and big enough. The property is nice, with a lot of vegetation and the pool is beautiful, both during the day and at night. The staff was very friendly. By car you could reach Alghero's city center in less then 10 minutes. The coffee in the morning.

The pillows weren't too comfortable...but this is 100% subjective. The fact that the property is located next to one main road, you can hear the passing cars. The breakfast, although it had a variety of choices... besides tomatoes we didn't manage to see another veggies. The gas heaters used in the breakfast hall gave off a pungent smell that was disturbing to the eyes as well.

The place is just fantastic. We loved it there. Room was beautiful and the staff very helpful and nice. Our flight was early morning, so we needed to leave at 6am and even though breakfast starts at 7.30am, they prepared small breakfast for us before we left. It was very nice of them and much appreciated. The hotel areal was clean. Overall there is really nice energy in that place.

Restaurant - service was very slow

Big applause for Anna and Betty! They made our stay very pleasant because of their hospitality! Beautiful pool but not heated. Beautiful Hacienda style garden. Excellent restaurant with good service. Nice room with balcony and very clean room with extra bed

Not many facilities and services. I thought it was a Spa but it was just the swimming pool. Not much to complain because it is a beautiful remote site
