We spent around 8 nights over Christmas/New Year. The staff were amazing & really went out of their way to look after us. Good variety of options at the buffet breakfast. Large rooms with lovely African decor. Very comfortable beds. Rooms had both fans and A/C. Great location in North coast. Short walk to the beach. Shopping centres & some restaurants are close by. Good value for money.

Bathrooms were run-down & needed more regular maintainance eg broken taps, leaking sinks. Kahama is close to a nightclub which played loud music till the small hours at the weekend.

The staff were amazing. The african art in the hotel is great. The bed one of the most comfortable that I have seen in Kenya. The room is spacious, hot water, nice water pressure. Nice breakfast. Large pool with nice relaxing areas.

There are a few small things that would make this hotel even better: a washing line for clothes to dry in tje bathroom, a nice coffee/espresso machine in the restaurant for a real good cappuccino (although the coffee is already much better than in most places at Bamburi beach!) fresh juices at breakfast.

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Kind professional, warm attitude, we felt at home and everyone tried hard to make our stay a perfect experience and it was indeed. The decoration is perfect. This hotel from the 60's has a soul. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We had dinner as well every evening. It was good and affordable. The pool area was welcoming. We would like to greet and thank all the members of the staff from security guards to receptionists (even if we arrived late at night made their best with the kitchen staff to bring us snacks in the bedroom) the waiters and Waitresses from both evening restaurant and breakfast are wonderful And of a special thank you to Karen their amazing manager who puts her energy and Heart in this lovely hotel. The fact that we stayed only 4 days

The Staff were Brilliant ,each and everyone of them ,made my stay unforgettable...The bedroom was very Impressive and spacious with a fridge.

The fridge was noisy, and showing signs of age..The bathroom window was open so people could hear you in there !needs updating and maintaining

the staff were very accommodating and caring. The breakfast is very sufficient and good and served on time. the rooms are well airconditioned and comfortable.

The water in the bathrooms n swimming pool is a bit salty given that its near the ocean so i guess that's inevitable. and the wifi was a bit weak in the rooms but was better on my last night stay.

What can I say about this place? It's been a while since I was so well taken care of. Kahama is indeed in the right place - hospitality. Right from the gate, you'll be warmly welcomed by the guards who go an extra step to help with your luggage. Cathy at the reception is a gem that should not be lost at all. She is welcoming, has a beautiful smile, she is conversational, a problem solver, she listens to suggestions....she is amazing. Breakfast at this place is fantastic. There is a wide variety to choose from. But most of all, I loved the decor. I love African art and Kahama got it right from the start. For those who have Africa deeply rooted in their hearts will feel the connection while at Kahama. Thank you all so much for the exceptional care you gave to me the entire week. I'll be sure to return some day.

The bathrooms in the flat are poorly designed Had issue with the AC and fridge Kitchen equipment is extremely limited Food at the restaurant on the same compound was disappointing, but there are excellent choices outside.

I love this place. The staff are the best of any hotel I have ever seen. Friendly and so welcoming. The place is beautiful. Great facilities. My second time here. The kahama hotel is a family to me! I'll be back soon.

It's a five minute walk to the beach. The staff are all very friendly and willing to make sure you're happy.

I didn't find the chairs and the sofa in my room comfortable to sit on. The internet keeps coming and going. They changed the password so that the one in the room was obsolete but you had to find out for yourself.

Fantastic room.....room cleaners always did a wonderful job ( with a smile) 😃. Breakfast buffet was really good...great selection of food. All the staff in every department were exceptional 👏. Location of the hotel perfect.....near the beach etc awesome pool. Its a secure wonderful hotel too stay at and highly recommend too All!!
