The place was high end, nicely decorated, modern facilities, private entrance, parking, breakfast was great, tv choices excellent, heating and cooling was great, a free bottle of wine which was very appreciated, shower was good and the place was spacious.

For a high end, modern place, the towels were thin, a little tatty and disappointing; the pillows and bed was way too soft and hubby had a sore back after 3 days of being there. There was no iron and ironing board which should be available if needed. Also, they advertise that there is a mini bar but it is an empty fridge. No cooking facilities except a microwave and a sandwich press.

Good location for a night stay.. Close to zoo, Lavender farm, chocolate factory and historical site. Chalet is great.. Has all the stuff to stay comfortably. Loved the jacuzzi and outdoor view. You can hear the waves from nearby beach and birds chirping... And some animal too.. . wallabies and rabbits. There is a general store ( walking distance) for your essential and for those that looking for BWS ( beside the complimentary red wine from 43deg), a stone throw away, you can get it from Bruny Bowl and community club. Lastly, get your dinner from Maria Bruny.. Theirs butter chicken was good. Weather was fine during my stay.. and sky was clear.. Took beautiful star trail and milky way photo from Chalet balcony.

Nothing much.. A cooking oven and washing machine will make a perfect stay.

The seclusion of the pod was great. It was a great sized space and lovely and warm, even in the winter weather. The spa bath was a lovely touch, make sure the jets are truly submerged though! The complementary breakfast was delicious, as was the wine. The bonus of being able to sit in the pod and watch the wallabies on the lawn was amazing. We wish we'd booked for longer, such a calm, cosy, beautiful space.

Not a problem as such, whilst the blinds did provide privacy, the gaps between the blind meant if someone was to walk by, they'd be able to see into the bathroom.

A lovely barrel-shaped studio was a unique experience. There is an inverted aircon which kept our room warm. There is no sea view at any of the rooms but they do face the garden and there's lots of birdlife and wallabies around. Very easy access from the main road and a short walking distance to the beach. Bruny hotel is available for dinner and a small grocery store to purchase supplies within walking distance. Breakfast is included in the price and includes muesli, yoghurt and a small freshly baked bread loaf - all delicious. Overall a good place to stay at.

The windows have blinds but don't fill the windows properly so people in the parking lot or walking past could look directly into our bathroom and bedroom at certain angles - you just have to be aware of that.

Lovely place and probably the best location on the island. We did the boat cruise which was awesome on the arvo we arrived with stopping at the ‘home of whisky’ on the way through for a tasting, followed by oysters and ‘get shucked’ then a cheese platter at the cheese place. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine which was excellent not only in taste but the only restaurant for dinner in town doesn’t provide alcohol but is byo and there is no where to buy wine. All the wine and beer at 43 degrees in the mini bar is very reasonably priced so go for it if you need to. Great place to stay, loved hearing the surf at night. Thoroughly recommend!

This was not the usual type of property we stay in, with it being quite a bit flasher than what we would usually go for (But it was a special occasion for us). We were not disappointed at all. The complimentary wine on arrival is a nice touch, and the breakfast hit the spot as well. The layout of the units is cleverly done, so you don't feel you are surrounded by, or looking into your neighbours unit, so you almost feel like you have the place to yourself. Its only a short walk to the Adventure Bay shops (Tip: Have dinner at 'Mari Bruny' - Was superb). We had booked one night, and later decided to book another night, which unfortunately meant we had to move units (That's on me, not the accommodation), but the staff were great, and ensured the next unit was ready quickly, so we could move across just after checkout time. Would love to stay here again, just need to figure out another special occasion to justify it !!

Very spacious and comfy cabin with inside seating area for eating/drinking and well equipped kitchen. The bbq on decking was a great addition.with outside chairs. Very comfortable bed with crisp white cotton sheets. Great spa bath /shower and lovely toiletries provided. Providing breakfast was a lovely added touch with warm bread , butter , jams & vegemite , yogurt with cherries + granola ( although very small amount !). Nice to have a bottle of red wine provided. We needed the heating on overnight ( March ) as it was a cold night and it was cosy inside.

the bbq was not clean from previous guests.

During my recent stay at 43 Degrees on Bruny Island, I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to cleanliness and the coziness of the room, which stood out remarkably. The meticulousness in maintaining a clean environment made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I stepped in. Additionally, the room's coziness added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The serene ambiance of Bruny Island, combined with the exceptional accommodations at 43 Degrees, ensured my experience was nothing short of relaxing. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in a spotlessly clean and cozy setting.

However, it's worth noting a couple of minor drawbacks that barely detracted from the overall positive experience. Firstly, the remote location of 43 Degrees, while perfect for a secluded getaway, meant that it was not close to any local amenities, requiring some planning for dining or shopping needs. Additionally, the self-check-in process, though smooth, meant there was little opportunity to interact with the staff upon arrival, which some guests might find less welcoming.

Loved the breakfast. The location was also great.

It wasn't that I didn't like it as it was really cute accommodation but I didn't realise there were also superior rooms with lounge area. I would have been happy to pay the extra cost to book this. Maybe I missed it, or the superior room just wasn't available, but I was expecting a lounge area. Once again, this might have been me. Lots of places specify the type of room in the photos. Once again, this could have been me.
