The breakfast looked amazing indeed, however, we did not partake due to our early departure for an appointment some 120 miles north. The room was spacious and the bathroom was magnificent! I love a quality large bathroom to be able to move around in. The shower in room 11 is wonderful. Comfortable bed and hi-tech fireplace too!
I could not figure out why on earth they would create such a gorgeous, comfortable space but then cut corners on the flooring. What a terrible mistake to install the fake laminate flooring instead of real hardwood. It just made the room feel cheap immediately upon entering. The cushion and flex those types of floors create might appeal to some, but for me, I want something solid and substantial and quality for $330 per night. Also, the sauna was clean and adequate, but it was not as hot as we would have preferred. "Some Like It HOT!"

I couldn't rave more about the Inn on Pine - from start to finish the whole experience was exceptional! The location was perfect, being literal steps from the main part of town to walk to and from antique shops, wine tastings, and local restaurants. The room was spacious and felt so comfortable, styled like it's a room in your home. The customer service was above and beyond - I booked this to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and they surprised us with an upgrade with elegant chocolates and a personal note from the staff! I was SO blown away by this kindness that's rare to see these days. The owner provided amazing recommendations, along with a map they made, for all the seasonal events and local restaurants. We used this to navigate our night and my mom had the BEST celebration ever and said to me "this is the best birthday I've ever had". The trip couldn't have gone better and hugely in part by our stay at the Inn on Pine - we can't wait to book our next stay!

Wonderful place in Calistoga! Every thing was perfect from the time we walked in the door. Very friendly staff who also lives there and offered her services if we needed any thing and even upgraded our room from a queen bed to a king. I love that they have their own parking lot and when we walked into the room there was a written card to wish us a happy 3 year anniversary and chocolates. This was also our first hotel where we had our own jacuzzi bath tub for two which we used and really enjoyed. I loved every thing about the hotel and we wished we would have brought our swimsuit as their pool was heated. This hotel also comes with breakfast and I was concerned that it was outside however the heated fireplace was warm and I loved how the cookies were homemade. We would definitely stay here again. Also it was a 3 min walk to downtown and all the restaurants. Every thing you could ask for was here!
Nothing it was perfect!

Loved the charm of this little inn. Innkeeper Val was so sweet and made sure we had everything during our two night stay. This location was a safe one block walking distance to downtown Calistoga. Had fresh baked cookies and complimentary breakfast and plenty of secure parking.
Sunday breakfast was lacking in comparison to the day prior. I was looking forward to the same breakfast options and was let down seeing the downgrade between days.

We loved everything about The Inn on Pine - really chilled place with excellent facilities including relaxing outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the covered seating area and complimentary breakfast. Small and friendly accommodation just five minutes walk from a lovely main street with shops and restaurants.
There was nothing about this accommodation that we didn't like. We had a great stay and would have loved to have stayed longer.

Cozy and clean and pretty and well appointed without feeling like a “boutique hotel“ run by an investment group, like so many refurbished motels and hotels can feel now. Hints of favorite motels of my peripatetic past. Quiet. Super nice staff. One of those places I don’t want to say too many nice things about because I don’t want availability to go down and prices to go up… but they deserve praise for their success!

Customer service was impeccable. Inn on the Pine is a charming little place to stay. It has, in its recent past, gone through renovation and the room, breakfast area, and pool area are clean, fresh and well looked after. The little extras - like cookies, fruit and filtered water - tea (of all sorts - which important to us Brits - stereotypical I know but true!) coffee, robes and towels for the pool, and drawers of board games to play - all a lovely touch. You of course could stay at the more swanky places in Calistoga but I would save your money and book here, a gem of a place for budget and good old school hosting and treat yourself to a wine tasting instead. The receptionist Gary who welcomed us treated us to the most genuine, warmest of welcomes - customer service wise the best we have had in a long time. So much so, if Gary was visiting the UK I would invite him and his wife to dinner at our home!
Cookies and snacks all day!

Charming, very clean, large roomy bathroom (shower & tub) well appointed and roomy. The patio breakfast area was a 10. Adorable, outdoor fireplace, fresh pastry, excellent coffee, as well as all the usual items in a complimentary breakfast bar. Staff was exceptionally friendly and full of helpful information. Walkable to all of downtown if 1/4 to 1/2 mile is comfortable.

Beautiful cottage like experience, my wife and I LOVED it!! We are definitely coming back here every time we hit Napa Valley! Wonderfully prepared breakfast, cozy beds and rooms, uh-MAZ-ing staff; so much so that the lovely matriarch of the motel offered to store our wine in the front office refrigerator for us while we strolled around beautiful Calistoga, so it wouldn't go bad... ten thousand points for customer service!!

Our experience at the Inn on Pine was amazing! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The location is in the middle of a neighborhood, surrounded in tress and extremely peaceful and quiet. Exactly what I was looking for. The property exceeded my expectations. A delicious continental breakfast was served daily along with freshly baked oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon! Filtered water & community fireplace available. The pool and jacuzzi was private, clean and warm. Pool towels and ROBES were also provided. What more can I say?! A wonderful place to stay!!
