The hotel was very beautiful, quiet, and had all the services we needed. It was not too far from the centro area and offered a quieter neighborhood. We felt safe knowing the hotel is gated with security. Hotel is very well kept and clean. Staff was extremely helpful when arranging transportation and assisting with luggage, room service, and spa reservations. We dined at the restaurant a few times which was convenient.

Lovely converted hacienda in northern suburb. Great getaway from heat and crowding of downtown Oaxaca City. Our party stayed in two junior suites. Not really suites but had terrific light and privacy, generously sized bedroom and bathroom -- we were very happy with them

As befits the modest size of this renovated old hacienda, the pool is modestly sized and all meals are in same location

We loved our stay at this hotel - it's an easy drive into Oaxaca but in a quieter suburb which still has a few places to eat. The grounds, pool and restaurant are really lovely and the staff are very friendly. We were able to park easily and appreciated the 24.7 security guard there.

The hacienda, the grounds, the pool, everything was beautiful and clean and kept up nicely. Wonderful staff with at least one person who spoke English there at all times.The food is also very good in the on site restaurant, we looked forward to eating there multiple times. San Filipe is a hidden gem of Oaxaca. A wonderful place to get away from the busy city and wake up to the sound of birds.

Beautiful grounds, spacious room, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were very good. Friendly staff who helped arrange taxis each time we wanted to go to Oaxaca Centro —a 15 minute trip.

The staff was like family. They look after you like you are royalty. The spa was available when we needed them and the experience was great. And the food, the food was so delicious and reasonable.

Beautiful hacienda with colonial Spanish architecture set in the foothills on the Sierras. Gorgeous unpretentious lush garden. An oasis away from the bustling hit exciting city centre.

Nothing - it was simply heavenly!

Staff were EXCELLENT. Walls are thin: noise from neighboring guests is very audible. Breakfasts were above average; main menus items were average, but the food in Oaxaca is excellent, so do not take most of your meals in the hotel anyway. The courtyard/garden area is beautiful. The pool is small and could require a little more attention, but was a relaxing place to hang out. Location is off the beaten path. Getting too and from El Centro, where the action is, requires an annoying but affordable taxi ride.

The roads and sidewalks in Oaxaca are poor. We became accustomed to the transportation system, but it took a while.

Helpful and Kind staff, everyone was lovely and caring. The hotel garden is truly beautiful and serves as a calm oasis away from the busy City centre.

Very nice and quiet location . Enchanting vegetation. The Hacienda feeling sets you back in time which is very pleasant . Perfect to stay and wind down.

The food at the restaurant lacks variety and needs improvement.
