Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. I bought some flowers and we were loaned a vase for our 5 night stay. the room was bigger than we expected and the spa bath was a bonus.

We had some difficulty with the television and gave up in the end as we had plenty of reading matter. Nothing else was negative about our stay. A few more cooking utensils would have been nice also and a few more coat hangers.

Everything from being greeted and welcomed at the front desk to leaving the next day. I would recommend The Landing Motel to others. I loved the spa, nice touch in our room,my mum had her own room and she said she was super comfortable and honestly did not want to leave. The hotel teallh made an impression on her. To be honest this was my mums first motel stay and what better location to stay for the first time than at The Landing Motel.

To be honest there was nothing that I didn't like our suite suited my husband and I nicely. Plus its a walk away from everything perfect location. If there was anything to say I didn't like which has nothing to do with The Landing Motel, the road (Landing Road) that the Motel is on is one of the most busiest roads ever. That would be one of the things I didn't like.

We've stayed here before and loved it so stayed again. A last minute booking for us and this place is always clean, tidy, modern and has everything you need for a great stay. Beds are comfy. The new managers are lovely! Location is on the main road out of town but still quiet. Possible to walk into the main town. A 24/7 day and night store is only a few minutes walk away for those late night sugar cravings.

Nothing to note

Beds were comfortable quality bedding. Nice to have a coffee machine available for use. Location was ideal for purpose of trip to Whakatāne. Staff were welcoming on arrival and super from departure.

There was only one small issue with the shower head stand, however it did not affect the use of the shower it was still useable.

We needed late accommodation as we were getting tired driving managed to get in easy and lady was lovely on ph there was also parking for our trailer There was a spa in our room

When turned Spa on a few black bits and hair flew out

Accommodation was very clean and well resourced. Space wise very functional especially with a 4yo son.

The shower doors were a bit awkward as a larger guy it was impossible to enter and close. Also caught ourselves almost tripping up going out the door as it’s a bit of a drop to the pavement.

The room was very big and spacious. Always handy to have a kitchenette. The lady who checked us in was very lovely. I enjoyed the spa bath and it was really great that they provided bath salts for a bath. Location is right in the middle of whakatane.

My stay was to visit my husband in a rest home, and being originally from Whakatane, I decided that your motel had always appealed. As it happened, it was away beyond expectations, was a beautiful unit, extremely clean, warm, beds were wonderful, and far and beyond was the lovely lady in reception, she was was awesome!! Would HIGHLY recommend THE LANDING, on Landing Rd, was amazing!

Just on the sheets was a little dirty not sure what happened.. but you could tell the sheets were clean.. Quality chair.. but so heavy was hard to move it closer to tv

Very neat room. At first, it looked like we could have stayed there for a week instead of one night. There was a feeling of luxury. The kitchen even had a dishwasher. It was really clean.

The beds. They look nice but the mattresses were too old. They were soft and caved in to shape other people's bodies. Also when my husband (who is tall and heavy) would lay down next to me, the whole mattress would move and cave. Which means that I would roll next to him or be on an inclined surface. He had to sleep on the edge of the mattress to be confortable also, complaining the he could feels the springs.
