Location was next to the Lake Ontario , with sandy beach and clear water. Only 15 min from Brighton and about 20 min from Presqu’ile Provincial Park. The facility didn’t have a hotel feel but mostly like a huge cottage with shared kitchen and living and dining area. Staff was present but not like tending the reception 24hrs . They were in the premises doing all kind of jobs to keep the place clean and running. They were always available by the text or call. There was a cute fully licensed outdoor bar/snack trailer by the pool where you could purchase a burger and beer. The place is very pet friendly, lots of guest arrived with their dogs.
Nothing we really didn’t like, just for someone who has problem with climbing stairs it can be difficult to move around .

The location is very good, with access to Lake Onatario and a narrow but sandy beach. We also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool when the weather did not allowed us to swim in the lake. You are being asked to order your breakfast and are being served by a very friendly lady. They baked fresh muffins, which were very good.
We were struggling with opening our door. Probably because humidity was high and the wood expended. Still, it was an issue for us and would he a huge issue for someone less fitted. We did not have a chance to meet anyone from the resort staff other than the kitchen crew, which was unusual. Usually it means a lot when someone welcomes you to a new place and provides some information,

The room was cute and a decent size. The bed was really confortable. We had access to a TV which we didn't use. We were happy to have access to a communal kitchen to put drinks and food for the night we were there. The person at the front desk was really helpful in recommending wineries to visit in our trip.
The room wasn't sound-proofed. We could hear our neighbors talking and watching TV. The breakfast was pretty ordinary. They might as well just cook everything and let people serve themselves . Eggs, toast, and bacon. I'm not sure it's worth mentioning as a selling point that they cook it to order. The resort itself is pretty far away. There's nothing really to visit around within walking distance.

Location is great. Staff is wonderful-friendly and there when you want but not hovering. Not just pet friendly but pet welcoming! That’s very hard to find. Because it was March not many people so almost had the place to ourselves with two large comfortable common rooms where we could make ourselves coffee, play board games and entertain our 8 month old grandson.
Only complaint was the room we had #1, needs an upgrade. There was a broken back on one chair and a broken bottom on a wing back chair. However my son & daughter-in-law’s room on the 2nd floor looked much better. So maybe just some rooms need an update. That was really my only complaint.

Super friendly staff! Room was ready when we arrived. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows! So many great places to hang out in to talk, relax or play cards. The kitchen on the second floor was a wonderful surprise as it was available for guest use and well equipped. The made to order breakfasts were amazing!! We had room 1, which was a walkout to the pool area. Outside was a table with umbrella and chairs which we made great use of! Lots of lounge chairs available around the pool. As there are only limited rooms at this resort, nothing was crowded.
The location is not close to restaurants. We didn't realize we could use the kitchen so were not prepared with our own food. The food truck had an awesome menu but unfortunately was closed as the resort was short staffed.

The location is near perfect just by the lake (doesn't have a lake view but it is about a 2-minute-long walk), tranquil with nature around. We had booked our room on the ground floor facing the pool and that turned out to be our private pool of sorts as we could slide open the window and walk out to the pool area:-) Only one more room had a similar view and access as any other guest would have to access the pool area through a separate entrance. But again if there are guests around the pool area then one would have to keep the curtains/ windows closed for privacy. We got lucky as the area was almost always empty:-) The shared kitchen was also of great use as we could heat up our food, use the cutlery and have a peaceful dinner in the dining area. (If you are a late dinner eater like us it will be a good idea to pack some food as otherwise you won't find anything around for food late in the night.) The breakfast was terrific (also unlimited) and the service was the cherry on the cake:-)
ONLY if the beds were a little longer and the pillows smaller (flatter)! I am 5 ft 11" and my feet below the ankles were hanging out of the mattress in my sleeping position. Also, the height of the pillows gave me a neck ache in the middle of the night and I used the backrest cushion of the sofa as my pillow for the rest of the night. Again my wife who is 5 ft 2" was ok with the bed length but the pillows were uncomfortable for her as well. Not sure if all the beds are of the same length but if one is not as tall as me and can carry their favorite pillows with them then this won't be an issue at all:-)

We had a wonderful time in the chalet. The beach area is beautiful! Breakfast was superb with home made coconut peach muffins.
The living room area wasn’t as clean as I’d like. The kitchen and tea kettle were a bit dirty. I couldn’t make my tea at night.

We were in town for a few days to do a wine tour of PEC and stayed at the Timber House... and loved our stay. The resort manager was super friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations. Wineries tend to close fairly early so it was nice to come back to the Timber House for a swim, walk in the forest or board games (lots of room for activities). The room was clean and their morning breakfasts were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
Not much water pressure in the shower/sinks but it wouldn't stop us from staying here again.

The cozy and quiet atmosphere was excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Waking up in the morning smelling the breakfast in the hallways was the best part! Beautiful property.
Bathtub needs some maintenance.

Location and breakfast were amazing. The staff were very kind and the room was quite nice.
The TV only has a few channels, nothing for kids, and the quality is poor. Not much for young kids to do.
