The staff on duty during our stay is what we enjoyed most about our stay. Hanna and Russ were so friendly and helpful. They literally made our stay the enjoyable experience that it was. After searching for the entire day for a campsite in the Kawartha area, to no avail, we decided to pull into the Trenton Ramada for the evening. From the minute I walked through the door, Russ’ smile, kindness and ease of accommodating us, our dog and our trailer, my frustration over the events of the day evaporated. Hanna was equally as helpful and friendly later that evening when I was having problems with my vehicle keys demagnetizing my hotel room key card. We had such a restful evening that we decided to stay one more night before heading to our reserved campsite close to family in the area. There was also an amazing dog park a short drive away at Hanna Park, which we took our pup to several times during our stay. The folks at the park were friendly and our pup had lots of fun with the dogs at the park and the large wooded, fenced in, off leash area! The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning a real plus in a hot spring weekend. A basic room but the service made it a five star experience.

The price was excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. There was coffee available, a nice couch, queen size bed, and a mini fridge to store groceries. The restaurant to the hotel had good food, with a large menu and affordable prices. 100% would stay here again. Thanks Ramada team!

Honestly there wasn't a downside to this hotel. Some reviews have people complaining about the cleanliness of the rooms, just manage your expectations when booking and you'll see the value.

Fantastic bar location (though we did not actually go in there). Had dinner in the dining room. Fantastic. Loved the pool and the location. Free and plentiful parking. Professional staff. Answered questions at checkin.

Just the bed. Not as comfortable as both of us commented to each other. Sheets were rough and scratchy. Overbleached? Can't blame you for that. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Not bad enough that we wouldnt stay there again. Our next trip through may bew as early as April.

Room was ready on time, good check in service. Easy access to building. Free parking. Bathroom fan actually worked properly!

200 deposit is really high, then takes days to be released. Staff should actually wait until we check out to make up the room. handicapped doors didn't work.

Room was great. Bed was comfortable as well as the pull out couch. Hotel is right off the highway but you couldn't hear the traffic. Close to Tim Hortons if you wanted a quick breakfast or coffee.

No Breakfast offered as they had a restaurant attached to the hotel. There wasn't any sheets or blanket for the pull out couch which we had to ask for. But everything else was great.

The staff in the bar was the highest level of service 10 out of 10 because they had just closed the bar but we had checked in to our room and they still agreed to make us food. so nice. the girl at the front desk who checked my families in was the sweetest person. she was so kind to my family. we will stay again

beds were uncomfortable and pool room was freezing. but other than that it was an excellent stay

Everything was as you'd expect from paying $139 (before tax), decent. Room was decent, bathroom was tiny but decent, bed was actually quite comfy. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing, really. Everything was pretty good.

No wonder the restaurant is popular - terrific breakfasts, at a reasonable price. Room (at least ours on third level, facing south) is everything you want in a no-nonsense type hotel: QUIET!, clean, functional (switches, plugs, hooks, tables, etc where you need them), decent shower.

Room fan seemed to go on and off, instead of just being constant.

The location and the price for Long weekend was unbeatable within surrounding hotels. 45 min -1 hr hrs drive into Sandbanks Prince Edward County and 45 minutes to the Lil town of Picton Ontario. 35 minutes drive to Ferris Provincial Park.

Very minor complaint but we didn't have extra sheets and blankets placed in our room for the sofa bed. We asked the cleaning attendants and the ladies were very friendly, quick to act upon leaving the extra blankets and sheets in the room while we were out exploring. All in all.. nothing big, just ask and you shall receive!

Lovely spot by the lake. Close to shops and lovely staff to greet. Lovely large room to make it a comfortable stay. Nice spot to stay when flying out of Toronto in the afternoon.

Room was next door to the attached pub with music playing but they stopped around 10pm so ok to sleep
