We stayed for 2 nights. Stunning view. Yummy omelette(from their hens), clean swimming pool, big yard, spacious room... I think it's a reasonable price with this facility and environment. Mountains air is beautiful even in hot summer. Thank you, Peggy. We enjoyed it a lot.

Winged ants came into the bathroom through the screen window. Just close the window and switch off the light. Then it solved.

This property is beautiful! Well looked after is cozy and has personality, it is a nice way to take a break and recharge your batteries! Peggy and Xavier do such a tremendous job taking care of the property and it’s Guests! Being a solo (30 year old Female) traveller I was worried i wouldn’t feel comfortable or safe. This definitely wasn’t the case- it was warm, welcoming, and comfortable - it did feel like my home away from Home. Sadly I am on my way back to Hustle Bustle Sydney and absolutely loved and thoroughly enjoyed my Stay - the Breakfast is by far the best I have in various properties I’ve stayed in - huge compliments Peggy! I’m looking forward to returning and soaking in the sun, nature and taking a Dip in the Pool or a Deep soak in the Spa! All my Best! Fuji

Peggy’s breakfast was exceptional. Healthy ,tasty ,satisfying and impeccably presented . The very best way to start our days exploring the area. Thank you Peggy,your hospitality is second to none. Peggy’s accomodation is incredibly clean and comfortable with stunning and unique views .

There was nothing not to like. The furniture is of an older style which suits the age of the house, it is incredibly comfortable.

Extremely welcoming hostess with a drink offered and canapes on arrival. Delicious breakfast with home-grown elements from the garden. Lovely pool. Fantastic recommendation given for the Murwillumbah Rail Trail, where you can hire bicycles for recreation. We were the sole guests which was a bonus!

Not a great choice of places to eat out in the evening within an easy drive, however there are sports bars and takeaways and there are cooking facilities at the property.

Peggy was a wonderful host (along with Xavier); incredibly helpful, engaging and a superb cook too. The place is in a lovely quiet location with wonderful views of Mt Warning, of course, but an easy drive from Murwillumbah.

Nothing. We were the only guests and so the fairly limited kitchen was ample for preparing simple suppers.

This is an exceptional property. Everything was impressive. The location, the welcome drink and platter, the comfortable bed, the breakfast and our host Peggy. It was easy to to forget our usual daily challenges and just absorb the tranquility of the location.

Peggy, the host was welcoming. The breakfasts were great. The bed was comfortable and large. The food at Mavis’s kitchen was great for an evening meal and the Mt Warning Hotel at Uki also had great food. Area was quiet and relaxing. Highlight of the weekend was the Tweed Regional Gallery in Murwillumbah.

Location was a bit isolated with lots of driving on the flood damaged roads to get anywhere. Couldn’t find any decent bush walks in the area, which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons for visiting this area. Wasn’t given any milk for tea or coffee, which was an oversight. Also wasn’t given a key to the outside sliding door, only found out there was a key from other guests staying there. Probably was expecting a bit more luxury given the price.

Our host Peggy was wonderful. The property was exceptional with a lovely terrace and incredible view. We arrived to a welcome drink and delicious canapes. The breakfast was also delicious. The pool and the hot tub were added bonuses.

We liked everything.

Peggy took great care of us. Breakfast was superb. View from the room was breathtaking. Property was very relaxing. Rooms were quite big with a comfortable lay out.

I can honestly say that there was nothing we didn’t like.

Great location amongst the rain forest very quiet. Peggy was an excellent host telling us about local things to do. Breakfast was excellent. The lap swimming pool was a wonderful addition.
