I appreciated how convenient, comfortable and clean the room was, and especially the welcoming and accommodating staff! I’ve stayed here before during my annual trip from California to New Mexico. I was aware of the proximity to the train tracks and brought my best earplugs, which worked like a charm. If I’m not trying to sleep, I actually enjoy watching the trains go by. I also appreciated the effective air conditioning as needles experiencing intense high heat – 115° during the day and 104° at night. The other thing I like about this spot is you get a 10% discount at the local, Wagon Wheel restaurant. If you’re interested in casinos, I do not recommend Avi Casino and Resort— limited selection of slots and their payout is exceptionally poor.

This is a good Motel. They have tile floors (no carpet thank god). It was celan. Big TV. Basic shower with toilet. Working Air conditioner and rooms allready cooled when you arrive (room was cool enough for us to be able to not have the AC on when we went to sleep - no noise). A really nice pool, that was very wellcome as outside temperature was arround 40 °C even after the sun set. Staff was very kind and helpfull.

There's an outside hangout/smoking area, that is clean and tidy, but it feels like an really loud boiler room in the evening when all the AC are on, and there's a railway nearby and a truck parking and all the noise combined could probably beat a moderately loud concert. Noise was not a problem in the room for us.

Good place to stay if you're on the road. Room was clean and comfortable, as expected a 'standard inn' for an overnight stay and there was a pool (which we didn't use). Discount on the Wagon Wheel Restaurant across the road was great.

For a longer stay it's inconveniently located as there's only a gas station and one restaurant close-by, no 'city center'. However, as we weren't looking for that, but just for a place close to the highway, it was perfect for us.

Room was clean, although a little dated and bed was comfortable. There are not many choices of places to stay in Needles, and we have booked here before, so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. They do not have any food service here, but they do have a restaurant across the street that will give you a discount for your patronage at the inn. We were also provided with a bottle of water and breakfast bar at checkout.

As all the hotels in town suffer this and have no control over it, I still wish there were no train noises at night.

Clean facilities, clean room. Comfortable bed. Shower head was new and working properly! Toiletries are in dispensers so you don't have to fumble with the tiny bottles. I've stayed at 5 different hotels in 5 days driving across the south west and this place has the best bed and best shower.

I much prefer the dispenser style soaps and hair care products, but the conditioner in the shower wasn't really dispensing properly. Perhaps the conditioner was too thick for that style dispenser? Maybe try a thinner brand of conditioner (or add a little bit of water to thin it out 🤫😉) so that it will dispense easier.

Clean and not overpriced! The owner and staff could make a side business as Trainers to others in the business. I found a great selection of tv channels; shower head and water pressure; clean maintained Pool; the best vanity mirror lighting of any hotel motel I’ve experienced; a quality large mini fridge and microwave; close to restaurants; and a wonderful staff. I was really surprised! I would challenge anyone to show me a better Inn in Needles-anywhere! Retired and travel over the past 5 years and will spend a weekend maybe two every month in a hotel/motel/casino. Have stayed in a lot of places- Rio Del Sol ranks #1 of all locations experienced.

Easy access. The room was comfortable. The restaurant down the road was cute, but food was not good. Major disappointment after reading positive reviews on it.

 I used the contact property link to ask about parking. We were driving a U-Haul and pulling a trailer. I never received a response. When we got there, we were told to park in the street. Several people pulling trailers and large semi‘s so parking was definitely not the best. The night clerk was missing in action when we got there. No note, no answer when I called out. Once he got there, he was rude. When I checked out the next morning, the two women at the front desk were very courteous and attentive, and apologized for the experience .

I rented the family room for the long weekend to celebrate my parents birthday and celebrate with friends and family in the river, we stayed in the family room and it was awesome. The space was plenty spacious and there were toiletries. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The main reason I rented the room was because it had a fridge, large living room sofa and actual kitchen stove with 3 pots, utensils, 2 knifes plates and even a blender. Our friends and family would of liked renting the room as well.

the problem that needs to get fixed were all doors would not close properly and would get stuck trying to either open or close. We were not able to access NETFLIX. I would recommend having more pots we were traveling with other families and friend that stayed in the same hotel. Aside from all those minor problems everything was great.

The front desk evening clerk, Martin, was very helpful and friendly....even told us about the discount at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant across the street (great food, all homemade). The morning clerk, not so much. Our room was clean and updated, with comfy bed, pillows, and furniture and microwave and mini-fridge. Also had various soap, shampoo, etc., dispensers. The pool area was nice, but too hot outside to use....thank the Good Lord the room AC worked great. We will stay, again, when coming through (get your gas in Arizona, just 2.5 miles away....$3.29 v. $6.69/gal).

Noisy bathroom fan.

It was a one night place, because it is in very good location. The room is very spacy even tho the bathroom is small, there is a washbasin in the room which is very comfortable solution! And very nice person at the reception 🥰 tasty breakfast at wagon wheel is extra facility and river city pizza nearby has the best pizza I have ever eaten 🇺🇸

Extremely loud from train next to motel, aircondition, even fridge worked loud. Dont forger your earplugs 😅 If you dont mind it and can sleep in loud, it is very good place.
