Excellent location for our onward travels via Eurostar, beautifully decorated room & hotel with ample options for eating & drinking close by if hotel not to your taste, We had a great bar snack and breakfast on our overnight stay ( big portion full English) The rooms are a tad smaller than expected but very comfortable. And we were literally next to kings cross & st pancras stations with brilliant transport links. The pantry & tea / coffee & pastries is a nice touch and was very well stocked. Overall … I found it to be very good, A little pricey but that’s the location & standard we wanted so a fair compromise for satisfaction in my opinion

Perhaps a better table & additional chair for the in room dining would be more practical than the small one in my room & a stocked fridge with snacks / drinks

Decided to stay here last minute, really, and it was perfect. So close to Kings Cross Station, allowing easy access to their train lines. The hotel is great with great security in place. Spacious room with all the amenities. Nice restaurant on the 01st floor the food was delightful. Would highly recommend.

The flat open plan bathroom, shower head, and water pressure are not great. It reminded me of a hospital shower. There was no shower curtain to contain the water, so the whole bathroom was soaked. Storage is also a bit of a problem in the bathroom, with no clear shelves to store your toiletries. But you manage.

Hotel staff were great, we had an early check in which most hotels don’t allow so that’s great! The room was decorated well and had a modern charm. As it was my partners birthday, the staff kindly gave 2 drinks vouchers for the bar, amazing. The location is amazing as we had to get an early train the next day and it’s literally next to it. It was nice and quiet though, you couldn’t hear the station or other people in the hotel. I would 100% come back.

Unfortunately the shower had no hot water! So we had to skip on the morning shower because it was freezing. The tv in the room was small, slow (took ages to get from 1 channel to another) and the pillows were thin so we had no head support. But this isn’t a big deal when you compare the positives and negatives.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good but expensive. Much cheaper but not as nice breakfasts to be had in St. Pancras Station. Availability of bar. Pantry on every floor which was well stocked with tea, coffee, milk, cake(freshly baked) and fruit. Quietness of room. Value for money. Hotel was much cheaper than Renaissance, St Pancras and just as convenient.

Small size of room. Attic room with view over roofs of London. View was not good as it was often interrupted by skyscrapers --not the hotels fault.

good location and nice room. we needed a cot at short notice and the staff did a good job getting us one.

Proximity to St Pancras station. The bed and multiple pillows were amazing as was the rain shower. The turn down at night with a strategically placed bottle of water & chocolate was a thoughtful touch as was the complimentary mini bar upon arrival. The staff were lovely.

The automatic door open towards you. I would prefer they open outward but I got used to it. A toothpaste would have been a good addition to the bathroom amenities. The swipe for the security door on the rooms floor opposite the lifts could have been better signed. I enjoyed the security however.

Very comfortable spacious room. Breakfast of good standard & choice with great service. Check in/out was prompt & precise. Will stay again in the future.

The pantry at the end of the corridor wasn't supplied with the same quantities or choice of previous visits. Downgraded to paper cups. Hopefully these are only due to Covid & will return to normal standards soon

Location, location, location. Right next to St. Pancras (Eurostar) and the tube station. Excellent (albeit a bit small), romantic room (Edwardian, so lots of art deco elements which we liked, among others a huge decorated mirror above the bed) on the top floor with a great view of the bell tower and clock. Nice restaurant (staff clearly overwhelmed, but the food was great) and a lively bar where we really enjoyed drinks and bites. Probably we’ll back when again in London!

Not much to dislike. Maybe the only downside was the lack of sufficient staff at the Rains restaurant. They really did their best, but we’re clearly overwhelmed.

The staff, location, and amenities were fantastic. The location especially makes staying here a dream. It sits right at the edge of Kings Cross station and there are hundreds of options for food, shopping and transportation. Step outside, and the taxi stand is in front of you. To the right is St. Pancras Station, and to the left is Kings Cross station. You can get to just about anywhere in and out of London from here. The Platform 9 3/4 store is in Kings Cross, and it is a dangerous place for your credit cards because you'll want to buy everything. Plus, there are a bunch of other stores including and M&S for your snacking needs and a Boots for your personal needs. If you forgot your jacket or need better walking shoes, there are clothing stores and there's a big Nike store within a short walk. I cannot say enough about how the location works for me. I also had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and drinks in the bar during my stay. Dinner and drinks were awesome and breakfast was convenient and far better than the usual continental grab and go you usually get included with your room.

On a previous trip (that didn't include this hotel), I got food poisoning, so I'm leery of eating eggs in England as they are often soft cooked. Americans cook eggs to a harder consistency. That in mind, more non-egg options for breakfast would have been welcome. The bed was firmer than I like and the pillows were softer than my preference. The bath products provided are heavily perfumed, but I try to bring my own things in this regard, so not a big deal.

Brilliant location, can't beat it for convenience. I got an upgrade to a better room on 5th floor, which was lovely and quiet. Best hotel bed I've ever slept in! Coffee & brownies in pantry are a nice extra. Breakfast was really nice, lovely staff in Rails restaurant. Hotel staff gave me conflicting info on whether it was part of my room rate, so ate out on 2nd day.

Tv didn't work properly, couldn't change channels easily. A maintenace person came to check, said it couldn't be fixed as the Internet speed was too slow.
