convenient location - close to buses, 6 metro lines, St.Pancras station (Luton and Gatwick airports' trains, Eurostar train) and 1 stop to the Euston station where from the train leaves to the Harry Potter studio The hotel is located across the street from the King's Cross station, but the street is quiet. At the station there are grocery shops (until 23.00) and many cafes where you can have breakfast. If you want quieter and not overcrowded places, then you can exit the hotel to the right and go towards the Brtitish Museum. Our room was on the top floor, so it was quite quiet. Cleaning and replacement of towels was every day. Wifi was good. The room is small, but fresh, furniture feels new, the bed is comfortable, there are many sockets, there is enough light, there is a kettle (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), hairdryer and a fan (which was very useful at hot weather). You can borrow an iron and ironing board at the reception for the whole stay. Also at the reception you can take a Lebara starter SIM card for free and load the Internet onto it. (5GB of internet, 100 min calls outside the network and 1000 on the network - 5 GBP) You can buy some soft drinks from the vending machine at the reception (1.20GBP) The staff is very friendly, makes you feel very welcomed. And of course their silky and cute dog Chanel ;) The luggage can be left before and after your check on/out
Maybe just some noise from the school nearby between 8-9am

Great location (the best feature of this hotel), nice staff as well. Bed was comfortable enough. Toilet was clean. Double window (great for noise reduction from outside - there was an event and I couldn't hear a thing). Box for returning keys for flexible check out. Great value for money. Perfect for single travel. Would definitely return.
Not soundproof inside. Because it's like a house where the rooms where converted, you can easily hear the other guests next to you coming in and out of their rooms because the doors are normal doors. Also, keys are used instead of cards, which for me is okay. The toilet door couldn't stay open (minor inconvenience) and the shower water after a few minutes, would go hot and cold at the same time (like it wasn't "mixing" well before coming out of the faucet). The top bed covers appeared they are re-used (sheets are changed but not that one cover on top). The desk chair needed cleaning. Double window (great for noise reduction from the outside) but not locking. Overall, a good stay though.

The location of the property was fantastic! Super close to St Pancreas/King's Cross train station with plenty of food options in the area and most importantly, it was in a safe neighborhood too. I traveled solo so the single room with shared bathroom was enough for me to have my own privacy and space while on a budget. The staff were super helpful and friendly as well with good security all over the property to ensure safety. There's also a very cute and friendly dog that would hangout during the day time in the front desk/doorway of the hotel. Like pretty much any property in London, there is no central air conditioning, but they do provide a fan in the closet for use. Overall I would recommend this place if you're looking for a central location with basic amenities provided while on a budget for your travels. This was definitely a nice steal for how expensive London can be, very reasonably priced and a very clean place (they clean your room daily). I've stayed in a hostel in Notting Hill earlier in my trip that cost almost as much per night but I had to share the room with 5 other people without privacy and unclean bathrooms to be able to make a comparison.
Because of the central location, like many urban areas, there will be noise from people going out to bars at night but I find it gets very quiet around midnight. There's also construction in the area that start early in the morning around 7am. Basically you're trading location and convenience for noise.

It was far better than we expected. Yes, the rooms are small but we were there for an overnight stay before catching the Eurostar. Wilson, who looks after reception, is a delightful man who we felt would do all he could to help us and was kind, courteous and “on the ball”. It is a safe hotel, warm, comfortable and clean and not expensive and we are staying there again on our way home.
Nothing to comment on. It is a budget hotel and therefore not perfect but we even fell asleep quite happily to the sound of the underground - it can, we suppose, be noisy if another traveller is unthinking and noisy but that can be true if even the most expensive and luxurious hotels so we ignored the one noisy couple and got on with our business.

It was very close to St Pancras, so great for Eurostar, and for 24 hr supermarkets, and for places for breakfast. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a clean and fairly spacious room for 3 with a kettle and cups, and a nice ensuite bathroom with shower and a good supply of hot water. Check out at 11am meant we could explore the Coal Drops Yard canal area, and then checkout for breakfast and our train.
The beds were a little creaky when you moved, and the double mattress sagged a bit in the middle. Our room was on the ground floor so when the trains go underneath you can hear them! But they stop late at night and don't start too early, and I always sleep in earplugs anyway, so not a problem for me.

You get what you pay for. The location is superb, right at Kings Cross but on a quiet side street. The staff is exceptionally nice and there is a cute little elderly dog on the premises. Bed was comfy and wifi worked well. We were able to check in early as our room was ready for no extra cost which was also amazing. Would definitely book again when visiting London.
There is nothing to really complain about. Hot water takes quite a while to come from the shower and our shower drain was a bit clogged so the shower floor tended to get a bit flooded if you took a longer shower. There are some stairs to climb to the rooms, but this should not come as a shock to anyone. The room we had was tiny (but no smaller than advertised) with just enough space to move around the bed, but for us the hotel was just a space to crash between exploring the city and traveling back and forth to Wembley so we didn't mind. However, you would not be able to properly open a large suitcase in the room's floor, so bear that in mind.

* Amazing location and roughly 2min walk to Kings Cross * Simple but clean hotel * Surprisingly well equipped, for example my room had a hairdryer and a sink in the room * Easy check-in and check-out experience * Surprisingly good WiFi * Personally, I didn’t really have any issues with street noise, even though it is a somewhat loud area being close to Kings Cross. Might have been helped by my room being on the top floor. * You get a paper bathmat for use with the showers and you get a new one daily, so that makes using the shared shower less frightening * Hotel is very open about being on the budget side, so no surprises there Especially, if you are not planning to stay in your room much while in London and just want a comfortable night, this is a great option.
Nothing really, guests should just be aware that bathroom is shared and both the rooms and all shared facility are really tiny. Also the hotel is in an old building, so expect it to have some character (and no lifts!). I believe around 6 rooms share a shower and a toilet (both separate) so I expect it could get busy, although I never had any issues during my stay.

The location is perfect for anyone who is travelling in and out of London a lot during their stay, as it is right near major train station hubs, e.g. Kings Cross. The rooms are very tiny, but there is space under the bed for luggage storage. The room came with its own sink, but shared toilet and shower - both separate from each other. The bed was very comfortable. In the hallway, you could hear noise from the other rooms, but once your door was closed, you couldn't hear it. I was on the thrid floor and didn't hear much of the traffic at all, as the hotel is tucked away in a side street. The staff at reception was very friendly and accommodating, providing an extra towel when asked, offering adapters and keeping an eye on the luggage storage. The hotel does not have a lift, but a narrow staircase that leads up three floors. Not a problem with carry-on only, and it was advertised, but something you should be aware of. I consider it the perfect place if you are just there to sleep.
The shower room was very small and you hardly had a chance to dry off in it. The room itself was also very narrow, not leaving much room to move around or unpack big luggage. Carry-on was fine though.

This was a no-breakfast hobbit-room, just next to the station. It has a reception where you can leave your stuff, but you can find affordable lockers / storage for your stuff all around (also in the station (although less affordable). Rooms were clear. Small (I am 1.90 cm tall), but clean and enough storage space. Toilet and shower are communal, and while these amenities where not new, they were clean and cleaned often.
The desk was horrible small and loaded with stuff. While I am great that their was a water boiler and coffee and tea in the room, the angle of desk made it difficult to work there. (But then again, this is a very specific 'me' problem - there are enough (loud) coffee shops to work in the neighborhood).

Very helpful and kind staff. I feel safe and comfortable. Very clean room! And no cleaning perfumes or toxic air fresheners. Awesome, I really appreciated that. The kettle with some coffee and tea in the room made my mornings and evenings better. Close to my work meetings and transport. Very convenient situated. Channel, the dog :)
This is not really about the property, it’s in general in all London and old buildings: If you are really sound sensitive, have in mind that you can hear the vibrations/sound from trains running under the building. So you better book an upper floor room. Related to sounds: the walls are really thin. You can clearly hear your neighbors (and they can hear you). The rooms are pretty small. I am a petite person and it was ok. But I understand that it can be an issue. Have it in mind.
