Onyado Nono hotels are an excellent choice! The traditional Japanese vibe and aesthetic make for a unique and memorable stay. The rooms are spacious (for Japan), offering plenty of storage space to keep things organized. They are also very quiet, with blackout blinds and a room air filter that adds to the comfort. The onsen is a standout feature. While the facility here is smaller than their Kyoto sister hotel, I actually preferred it due to the better range of options in the women’s facility, including a jet pool, cold plunge, sauna, and baths of varying temperatures. The beds are comfortable, leaning on the firmer side, and the pillows at this location were more comfortable than those in Kyoto. However, I will say that the coffee machine at the Kyoto location was better. Overall, I highly recommend Onyado Nono hotels for anyone seeking a blend of traditional atmosphere and modern amenities.

The hotel was clean and fresh and had a beautiful onsen in it. It is right next to Sensō-ji you can't get closer. So many food options and tourist things around it. I was on the 5th floor and it was nice and quiet.

The bed and pillows were a little hard but that seems normal for Japan, the staff were very happy to provide me with extra pillows with a choice or soft or hard which was very appreciated.

Great modern hotel in Asakusa! The location is perfect, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is very clean, with tatami on every floor (you actually have to remove your shoes before entering). You open the room with a keycard – no physical keys. The room was clean and comfortable, had a/c and all the necessary amenities. The staff was polite and helpful. Also, there are free noodles 🍜 during dinner time and a reading room full of manga with two massage chairs. A special mention for the amazing onsen ♨️ available in the hotel. It’s very atmospheric, with wall pictures of Edo Period. The hot spring water is dark brown, almost black. There is one bigger and one smaller area, a cold and a hot bathtub and showers. Separate areas for men and women. Great hotel to stay if you like Asakusa!

1- The location was wonderful/ right outside Senso-ji but also quiet at night. 2- the staff was so professional and courteous. They could answer all my questions and help with anything - baby bed, tattoo covers, luggage forwarding, Taxi calling, etc. 3- The amenities provided were all that we needed- towels, shampoo, soda, toothbrushes, hairbrush, pajamas, etc and water, yakult, ice cream, nightly half size ramen 4- I loved being able to walk around in socks and not worry about getting dirt on them from our shoes. It made the room floor much cleaner as well 5- this was our first onsen so there is not much of a comparison but the facility was very nice and had many bath options. 6- laundry (free washing, 100yen dryer). There are 4 washers and 4 dryers. I never had to wait for laundry. This was wonderful since we only brought a few pair of clothes each and my 4 month old had a blow out on the plane and we needed to do laundry the first night .

We had many drink tickets left when we left since we were only able to get them 1 evening due to the time.

Beautiful hotel in every way. Provided an opportunity to experience Japanese culture in ways that larger hotels we have stayed at were unable to do. We loved that it was so popular with Japanese guests. The location is amazing - so close to many attractions and with two stations a very short distance away it made getting around si easy. The Onsen is beautiful and was such a wonderful experience - it was my first experience of Onsen and I loved it. The breakfast at the hotel was the best we have had during our stay - including at other hotels and local eateries. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Tokyo.

There was nothing we did not love about this hotel and while the room was much smaller than other hotels we stayed at it was totally adequate for our needs.

Very clean hotel as guests walk around in socks only. Love love love the free 24/7 onsen with natural spring water (even though I only booked one night, I went to the onsen 2x- once before midnight and once at 6am!) The post-onsen complimentary Yakult, popsicles and massage chair session was also amazing. Room wise, it was big enough for 2 of us and our infant. Child safe too as the floor was clean for baby to crawl around with no safety hazard in the way… view was also great, as we were in a rustic area with the temple around…we regret not being able to stay for a few more nights!

Great location (close to the quietness of the Sumida river bank yet also walkable to several metro stations, restaurants, and cultural sights). I loved the on-site onsen, it was well-maintained and not overcrowded. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff was welcoming and very helpful.

Breakfast was good but felt a bit too expensive for what you get. We only opted-in once. The complimentary vouchers for drinks felt a bit off. You could only use them from 3 pm until 7 pm (or something like that) and for coffee/tea only. I think people usually drink these kinds of caffeinated drinks in the morning, and it would be more expected to have other kinds of drinks complimentary in the afternoon (maybe a beer or some lemonade).

I have stayed in several Japanese style hotels now and love them. They have traditional Japanese floors that require shoes to be taken off and that makes the whole place very homelike. Everything is very quiet and enjoyable. There were lots of families staying there too. The scale of the hotel is very comfortable meaning that the entrance and public areas Are not voluminous and grand but, or human and approachable.

It was a little hard to find because the entrance is so unassuming. The hotel actually has two buildings and it’s not clear on Google maps which building you’re meant to go to. But that was a small problem that disappeared quickly.

It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was super cozy, with a but comfortable bed, and a small dinning table. There was a small fridge and a kettle. As this hotel is in Tokyo, the room wasn't very big, but somehow they made it very comfortable with a great layout. Unlike many hotels in Japan where they save on costs and don't clear your room daily, this hotel was a pleasant exception. Everyday I got new towels, toothpaste etc. Very generous. The included breakfast was so rich and tasty. So many healthy options of traditional Japanese food. The location was also great. Right next to the temple and very close to the subway.
