Checkout hours and breakfast hours are very generous. The breakfast itself was abundant and very nice. We also booked dinner and it was exceptional!!! I would say the best meal we had in our 10 day stay around Morocco. However, our stay couldn't have been this nice without Youssef. He really went out of his way to help us plan our way around, he organized dinner even when we came very late, helped us with tickets and was overall an amazing human being. The best customer service experience in a very long time. Shukran Youssef! I hope life is just as kind to you, as you are to all your guests

The bed was pretty hard. And the toilet didn't flush properly. Also the property does not answer booking.com messages. But have faith, once you get there the manager Youssef will make you feel welcomed and special.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dar Attajalli in Fes, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was the warm hospitality provided by Hamza. His dedication to making guests feel welcome is truly remarkable, and his service-minded approach is evident in every interaction. The rooms at Dar Attajalli are incredibly spacious, offering a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan decor and modern comfort. Each detail is thoughtfully curated to provide a serene and luxurious atmosphere. Breakfast at Dar Attajalli is a delight. The variety and quality of the food are outstanding, with fresh, local ingredients and traditional Moroccan dishes that provide a perfect start to the day. Overall, Dar Attajalli is a gem in Fes, and Hamza's exceptional hospitality makes it even more special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Fes.

We stayed for 4 nights. As it was January we had a little electroc heater in our room, that was quite warm and cosy. The house is in a side alley, but very close to one of the main routes in the medina. It was also very quiet. There is a great rooftop terrace that gives a view over much of the old town. We had breakfast every day and enjoyed it and also had dinner twice. For getting from and to the train station the staff arranged a transfer by taxi and then a porter with a handcart for our luggage.

Not a criticism, but be aware that this is an old building and the stairs are narrow and steep.

Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. Stayed Dec 14 - Dec 17, 2023.

Can't think of anything.

So much to say. Riad Attajali is wonderful. The room is great. The terrace with a view of the Medina is a place where we like to stay. The manager is very friendly. 15 minutes from Bab Boujloud, we are in the Medina. The service is impeccable. The lamb tagine is excellent. Finally, the best for last. Hamza is a friendly, welcoming boy. He is ready to be of service. Hamza is an essential asset to this Riad. I will keep delicious memories of him. He became a Moroccan friend.

The traditional decor and setting of the whole place takes you back in time. Absolutely beautiful. We stayed for a long weekend with our 2 children aged 4 and 7. Yusuf was very helpful and a great host. The medina is like a maze, so I would definitely recommend a guide! There is plenty to do and see around the area. Perfect for a few days away. Thank you for the great hospitality Yusuf. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again in the future.

We very much enjoyed the beautiful room, the terrace, breakfast and the easygoing kindness of the staff. The terrace in particular is an oasis of calm, where you can breathe in the ambiance of the medina while enjoying the fresh breeze and sound of birds chirping. The location is perfect in the heart of the medina off the main streets. The staff were very kind and ready to help with anything we needed, giving suggestions but without pressuring to book using their services. Pick up at the entrance to the medina by the porter sent by the riad (Hassan) was not absolutely necessary but it was nice to have help with even the couple of bags we had and certainly appreciated on the way back home with the extra weight! Would definitely recommend (and return!).

The breakfast room is a little cold and quiet even in the springtime and you can hear every sound coming from the room on the ground floor while you're having breakfast which could be a little awkward.

Staff was kind specially Abdul, he made sure that we had everything we needed and our stay was comfortable. Is Inside the Medina, room was spacious and clean. The view from our room was beautiful. Nice place to stay.

Since the Riad is inside the Medina we had a cab driver drop us off in a parking lot and hire a bag porter to take our bags to the Riad. Our room was on the top floor with a view to the mountains and a beautiful roof top however, if you have a heart conditions, knee problems, climbing stairs, etc. you should not stay in this room there are no elevators and the steps going up are irregular. Would suggest ground or 1st floor.

The staff was very friendly - Dris and Abdul were constantly trying to exceed our expectations. The rooms were large and and comfy, good showers, and the food was very good. The Riad will send their porter Hasan to the parking area if you call before arriving. Fee is 20dir. Parking fee is 20/day. If you have any trouble with the rate, wait for Hasan. Some Riads are located on major streets and easier to find, but might be more noisey. Once you get used to the route, it's very easy to find, or they can provide a guide.

Not a negative - It's an old building in the old city, sound travels, and fixtures aren't new.. It's not a modern hotel in a major city, so expect the facilities accordingly.

The 2 guys responsible went above expectations and helped a lot as we were sick for a day. Every little detail was well taken care of - from the constant Moroccan tea on the house to the great quality of the amenities in the rooms and amazing self-written guide of the city and tours offered. The restaurant and cook are fabulous with clear emphasis on good quality sustainable products. Best breakfast in Morocco we've had! And not to forget - the cozy terrace, where actually dinner is served, unfortunately couldn't experience it due to the weather

Everything was perfect!
