Ann and Steven were excellent hosts and their farmhouse made for a welcome and much needed stay following a long trip back from Ireland. Room was comfortable, warm and had everything we wanted. Particularly like the individual bottles of fresh milk and water available for us in the fridge. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast and cereals in the morning, thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay here

It was very clean. The breakfast was very good. Hosts were lovely. Spent time showing us the room. Nice quiet location.

The room (room 1) was much smaller than I expected. Just enough room to walk around the bed but difficult with luggage. There was no wardrobe just 4 hooks above a fireplace. Although the breakfast was lovely it would be better if there was a vegetarian option for breakfast eg veg sausage. My cousin had the other room which was bigger and paid £40 less than me.

This bed & breakfast exceeded all expectations. The breakfast offerings were scrumptious, featuring a variety of fresh and flavourful options that catered to every palate. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, giving us peace of mind during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy and hospitable retreat.

Lovely place to stay, set in quiet rural location. Booked due to going to a wedding. Owners were lovely including their little dog Peggy. Found both very accommodating. Room was very clean, lovely homemade cookies, great shower and had a lovely view. Breakfast very nice, set me up for the day. Great value for the price I paid for my stay. Would definitely go back and recommend Stanley Lodge Farmhouse to others.

I booked this room for my step-daughter and her cousin as we were attending a wedding locally and there was limited accommodation available at the venue. The location was perfect - think it was £20 -£25 in a taxi We contacted the hosts regarding check-in and they were really helpful. They both said that the room was lovely & comfortable and breakfast was great. They just had to let them know in advance what time they wanted breakfast - anytime between 7am - 9.30am.

Check out of 10am was a bit early and 11am would be better.

A lovely B&B. Very friendly owners who even saved my son´s day by spontaneously offering him their holiday apartment for a longer stay. Thank you so much for that!- Breakfast was great, the house is neat and decorated beautifully. Very cosy room, with tea-making facilities, milk and biscuits. And they even have a piano in the lounge to tinkle a bit- Highly recommended

there really is absolutely nothing I could complain about

perfect location for quiet stay, barely any cars in the area, lots of beautiful walks close. the closest is by the bridge down the canal, or if you drive visit Scorton Niky Nook and Beacon Fell. Lancaster is short drive away, lovely little town Garstang close by as well. Lake District 40 minutes drive away. Hoast are very lovely and kind people, alway with a beautiful smile on and more than happy to help. breakfast was very enjoyable, freshly cooked. rooms were nicely and cozy decorated, nice and warm. really everything it’s lovely and comfortable

everything was exceptional, but for us the pillows were a a bit uncomfortable.

The property is lovely set in beautiful surroundings. Excellent accommodation and made to feel extremely welcome. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were also served a delicious breakfast in the morning. Ann was extremely accommodating and most helpful. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Friendly and very helpful hosts - particularly as I went to the wrong postcode initially! The room was very comfortable, a super breakfast and I enjoyed meeting Peggy the dog!

Nothing I didn't like. Might be worth providing guidance that the postcode takes you to a property before the B&B and you need to continue to the next property along the road.

We were delighted to have a comfortable room and great breakfasts during our three night stay. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, particularly the countryside for its beautiful walks and abundant wildlife.
