Historic building was very interesting. The upstairs bedroom had giant beams and little dormer windows - so much character. There was a common kitchen and common balcony/deck that we could use, although we didn't - we had a complimentary breakfast (which was great) and we made a dinner reservation there. Dinner was also great - definitely recommend the Charlevoix cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry as an appetizer! Everyone spoke English for us. Lots of parking. The auberge (inn) is a little ways out in the country, so beautiful surroundings, but you need a car (or taxi?) to get there. There is no elevator, so you must be able to climb stairs - but this is okay because an elevator would ruin the character of the property.

There was nothing that I didn't like and I can't think of any improvements that could be made.

I have stayed here 3 times already. Love the restaurant and the surrounding. Easy access to the city for work. It has a cottage feel. The restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff is always accommodating. Great value for money.

We stayed in the main building this time and we can't turn on the bathroom fan at night after showering because it is really loud and bothered guests next door. Without turning on the fan, the bathroom smelled really bad, musky and wet the whole night.

We enjoyed the lovingly cared for century old inn that served our needs more than enough and of course, the food and ambience was top notch. Our breakfasts were nourishing and delicious and we ate dinner at the Auberge both Thursday and Friday evening. Friday we were seated at a fixed menue table with a five course menu selection and a 4 piece band for our entertainment...we joined the dancing which made the evening even more special. Our room was very clean and the quality of the linens was much appreciated.

We weren't familiar with Nespresso machines I'm afraid, and so we wasted a few pods before we were able to enjoy our morning room Cafe 🥹

The Auberge Baker was a perfect location for our trip east, just outside Quebec City, easy to get to with a bonus of there being a restaurant on-site. We had a choice for breakfast, the crepes were yummy! The hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful!

Turned out to be a very warm day, unfortunately the room was hot when we arrived after 6pm. There was a cooling unit in the room but did not get the room cool enough before bed. That said, I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

Absolutely adorable building. Very rustic, and not the kind of place we would typically stay. Charming stone walls and wooden beams throughout.

Very few rooms have a king size, and there wasn't one available for us. The bed was very stiff. Provided soaps were gross smelling, washed poorly, and looked like they had been sitting a long time (separated in the container). No warm eggs and bacon for breakfast. Cold fruit cold, hard boiled eggs, cold yogurt, cold cereal, cold sandwich meat and cheese only. Home made bread had the option to be toasted.

The staff were SO helpful, even tho I arrived early--they made accomodation for that! And they were busy! Everything was clean and I was exceptionally tired so got to curl up early and take a nap. They made allowance for me to have a Sunday brunch that was not planned.

I wasn't there long--wish it could have been longer, but my friend loved the place as much as I. We had nothing to complain about! Absolutely nothing! We both loved our stay.

The bed was comfortable, the service was very good, and the included breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff was really friendly. We will have fond memories of our stay

The shared kitchen upstairs was old and not very useful. There were no dishes and the stove didn’t work.

Beautiful location, close to the Basilica. Quite, lots of nature. Very nice.

The only complaint, is the actual room. Was expecting 2 double beds, as we were all seniors, instead there was only one bed and a sofa bed, not very comfortable for elderly people. Everything else, was excellent.

This is relatively old farm, with main building built in the middle of 19th century. Rooms are above the restaurant and every one of them is spectacular. The Baker room is only slightly more expensive, but it is worth every penny. All the staff, and Madame Lin in particular, are extremely nice. I initially booked the Studio, which is in the separate building from the auberge (just next to it) but did not realize it had very steep stairs to climb. Although this was shown on pictures (on their web site) I was under impression that despite my mobility issues (I am currently using crutches) I would be able to climb them (as I do at home). However, once we arrived, we realized this might hamper my stay at the auberge so we asked if we could settle in a more easily accessible room. I do not want to detail on all the things Madame Lin had to do (talk to other guests) in order to rearrange our stay at this beautiful farm, especially in the middle of the tourist season. All I can say is that we are so thankful to Madame Lin and all the staff for pulling up for us to make our stay ever so memorable. We came with the idea to visit Quebec City (20 minutes-drive), Ile d'Orleans (20-25 minutes), and canyon St-Anne (15 minutes) and Bay-St-Paul (45 minutes). The Ski Mont St-Anne is only 15 minutes-drive from the auberge so this must be an excellent location during the skiing season as well Only 8 minutes-drive from the auberge, you will find a magnificent St-Anne de Beaupre basilica. In addition to paintings, stained glass windows, stone and wooden sculptures that can be found in most Roman Catholic churches throughout the world, St-Anne de Beaupre has also breathtaking mosaics. Restaurant is placed in an old setting, with traditional Quebec and ancient French cuisine, which we highly recommend. Surroundings of the auberge are also spectacular. In addition to variety of trees and flowers, it is full of birds and several quite old and beautiful willow trees.

We enjoyed very much how quiet and close to nature this is. We love the service and the breakfast.

For someone who is as tall as we are, it was challenging to navigate the room with the attic ceilings without hitting your head. Also the internet connection was a bit
