This property has the best of both worlds, both as a villa and a resort. We felt very safe and secure here as the villa is located within a larger property with a reception and staff onsite daily from 7am to 11pm. Added bonus was being upgraded to a 4-room villa instead of the 2-room option we selected where the kids were able to enjoy a much larger pool. We were able to borrow items like multiple floats, balls, Frisbee, skateboards, bicycles, snorkelling gear, and much much more at no additional charge whatsoever. Staff was particularly excellent and ultra responsive, just a WhatsApp message away. They made our stay particularly enjoyable. Breakfast was provided daily with choices of 5-6 different menu items daily. There was filtered water available with room temperature, cold and hot water, which was also great. Above all, this property is very conveniently located just a 2-minute walk away from the newly opened Seminyak Village with Seminyak Square just next door. Petitenget Beach is also just a 7-minute walk away with our favourite eatery, Shrimpi's nearby. Excellent stay overall!

The shower and tap water is salty and doesn't really wash as cleanly as we would like. Could have been better if the water pressure for the shower was stronger. There is no microwave or toaster oven, although the staff did say we could request to have our food heated up if we brought back any food. At night, you're advised to keep your food either in the fridge or in the rooms as cats do come into the property and check out what we have at night.

Modern and spacious villa with huge beds and excellent service. Location so convenient to Seminyak village just a stroll down a quiet lane.

The bathroom downstairs was small and dark with small shower and needs redoing. The second bedroom had a musty smell because of this. The stairs were a big hike to the top bedroom.

Loved our stay at Origin, the four bedroom villa was perfect for our group of 8. The location to is perfect, nice and close to everything in Semiyak, whilst still being in a quiet area at night. My main man RAMA was an absolute legend. Anything I needed throughout my stay he was there, from renting scooters to fixing a broken shower and questions I had about the area, it was all done quick and easy. Couldnt recommend a better place in the heart of Seminyak.

So we only had one issue, that was the laundry. Bare in mind we didnt read the laundry cost sheet but it also wasnt explained to us at all. So we did get quite a shock when we saw the bill as we had done laundry at the villa prior and it cost us 1/10th the price for the same amount.

The villa was huge and spacious. We hired the 7-bedroom villa (3 bedroom + 4 bedroom connected) and a 2-bedroom villa for a large group of friends. The rooms were all huge and spacious. The bathrooms were huge. The pool was great, and having two pools over the 7-bedroom villa was excellent as one was sunny in the morning and the other was sunny in the afternoon so that we could escape the sun. The pools were always crystal clear. The location was superb; it was easy to walk to so many great restaurants and bars (Ku De Ta, Motel Mexicola, La Lucciola, Sisterfields, Sea Circus, and so many others!). Semiyak Square was at the end of the villa laneway, so it was easy to get to the shops. The breakfast was great! Everything was fantastic.

It would have made it easier if we could have selected breakfast in the mornings when we were having breakfast, as a couple of times we forgot to message later in the afternoons. A tick sheet with our breakfast would have been ideal. There were not enough hooks and places to hang towels and clothes. It would have been great to have a couple of racks and more hooks in the bathrooms.

The property is well laid out, tastefully decorated, comfortable, stylish & very spacious & well equipped with all needs. (Loved the gym area in our villa)

It could do with some minor property maintenance. Ie touch up paint on the walls, repair to pool tiles, other bathroom tiling is looking tired & the timber panels need varnish. But those items, doesn’t take away from the fantastic staff & time we had there & the size & beauty of the villa.

We had an incredible time at The Origin in Seminyak! The service was truly outstanding—nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which is delivered right to your room. It felt like such a treat to start the day this way! The location is also perfect, putting you close to everything while still offering a peaceful retreat. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Seminyak!

Much more spacious that i expected and rooms and bathrooms were great. Villas were very well cleaned every day - especially with the very messy teenagers. All the staff were so helpful, and were happy to let us stay longer than checkout as we had a flight. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was good, but not always great for the kids. I think always having something super basic on there as an option would be helpful. but this is a VERY minor complaint.

I loved the outdoor area with the grass and swimming pool, plus the fish pond inside near the kitchen. The kids loved that! I also liked that you could borrow pool toys and balls for the swimming pool. This was a real bonus and although seems small, it made a big difference having a soccer ball and pool floats. I loved that the master bedroom was upstairs in its own retreat. The location was fantastic, so close to a lot of great restaurants and walking distance to Seminyak Square.

I didn't like that the kids bedroom was downstairs and far away from us being upstairs in the master bedroom mainly because their room was off the outdoor area which felt exposed. After the first night this wasn't an issue. I also didn't like that the living room space and bathrooms didn't have the option for aircon, so it was stuffy and humid during hot days.

We had a pleasant stay at the villa! The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. The food was good and met our expectations. Overall, it was a good experience, and we appreciate the effort put into making our stay comfortable.

We found the swimming pool to be too deep, which made it less enjoyable for the kids. It would be great if there are areas in the pool with varying depths to accommodate different preferences.
