place was very quiet and quite clean... staff called to tell me where to find the keys because by the time I would get there it would be after check in time

since i had booked 3 different rooms i got to see that the furniture generally is aged and needs replacing rather soon... in fact moving one of the beds (forgot why we needed to do that) revealed that a leg of the bed was broken and just placed under it to keep the bed steady... clearly the staff know about it but maybe they may be saving up for replacing the bed in the future... this is a safety issue in my view! could not park in the yard and had to park on a different street because the yard is steeply behind the hotel and snow prevents driving uphill from the carpark... but the same snow makes it difficult to walk from the other street as it is cold to walk and unpleasant too.

The place was very quiet and peaceful. It felt like being in a lovely getaway home without the hustle and bustle of a noisy city. The room was nice and warm despite the snow outside.

Although this has nothing to do with the hotel itself one must look out for deep pot holes on the road as you get closer to the hotel. There is no parking on the hotel premises during the snowy period because the parking area is behind the building where it is a very steep terrain. It's not even allowed to park on the street in front of the hotel, so we had to park on a different street and then walk through the snow to the hotel. The furniture could do with some repairs or replacement as some of the drawers to not have handles at all and also if you happen to move a bed the bed's leg falls off!

It is surrounded by verdant hills, trees and its own garden below. Our room with a balcony was an extra treat: the tall trees beside it made sitting there and looking out to green extremely relaxing. It looked out over the nearby 'Fairy Rock' which was a short walk away. Elsewhere in the city the heat wave made it unbearable but here due to the cooling effects of the trees and plants, it was pleasant. Breakfast in the lush garden outside and in the conservatory was glorious.

It was clean, quiet , had a beautiful terrace, good value for price.

Could clean more the terraces. Noise could be heard through the walls but the guests were not noisy so it was not a problem for us. But you could hear a caugh.

location, environment, staff, facilities and service was great

Some doors and shower cubicle had some wear from long-term use, but they are clean. The hotel's position requires your own car or taxi, the nearest restaurant is a steep walk of about 25 minutes in hilly terrain.

I was in lot of places in my life. I had stayed in 2-star and 5-star hotels alike, so I can say that Bobbio hotel was one of my favorite, because of nice location, comfy room, and of course very nice and helpful young lady at the desk. (Orsolya I think?)

The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. They did everything possible to ensure that my stay was as effortless as possible. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful.

The bathroom was very small, which is typical for older buildings. Would benefit from modernization

The location is gorgeous. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Depending on the weather, the outdoor spaces are very comfortable.

negotiating the traffic in the narrow mountain streets was a challenge. Public transportation is nearby, but you have to climb up a street that can be steep at times.

Cosy beds, cleanliness, very nice and assertive concierge, the hill and the nature - the air.

It’s a little bit far from the center of Budapest, but if you are on the round and you want a good place to sleep, it is more than ok. Also, the breakfest not included.

Gorgeous views in a beautiful part of the city.

It is a bit far out but takes about 20 mins to get to centre via a regular Bus.
