Clean and comfortable premises. Was able to have dinner which was lovely and so was the breakfast. The waiter was great as was the lovely lady in reception

Everything was great. There was one thing that could change which is a ramp access up to the breakfast buffet. We sat up top for breakfast and watched a elderly lady struggle up the step with a walking frame. Her friend helped her up so we gave her our table as they would’ve had to climb back down the steps again. So maybe extra tables up there for people like them or a ramp access up to the top part.

This property is good for family’s and groups. We stayed two nights in 3 separate rooms. We were happy about the swimming pool. The location to food , attractions and petrol was less than 10mins drive. They had very friendly and helpful staff.Thank you for having us all . Happy New Year 2024.

The spa was small and had to book 30min sessions if you wanted a turn. But , don’t let that stop you. It’s a good Resort.

The room was modern and clean. The carpet felt clean which is a really big issue. We had a swim in the pool which was also clean and inviting. It's a nice early morning walk back along the water front to town. Good off street parking. Staff were very friendly at check-in. The property always has an awesome buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

If i had to look hard for anything wrong, it would be: It's a pity the restaurant was not currently doing dinner. The room did not hav an extractor fan in bathroom but the window did open, although in taupo, you cant have window open with lights on as it attracts bugs. The plants around the pool needed to be tidied up and replanted. But it is hard to find problems.

Bed was nice and comfortable. I arrived at night and the room was warm, and light on etc when I went in, so I wasn't walking in to a dark area. I have stayed here many times before, and it is always a pleasant experience, and I have enjoyed my stay. The staff are especially helpful and lovely to deal with.

There were no knives, forks, or plates in the room, only cups and glasses. The TV chanels options weren't great, but otherwise everything was wonderful.

Clean and tidy. Beds very comfortable. Good quality linen and towels. It was a very cold night -2 degrees C - but the room was very warm and comfortable. We were surprised to see ice on the car in the morning. Absolutely stunning morning with lovely sunshine and fresh cool breeze. The receptionist for check in and check out was very efficient and helpful. We did not use the restaurant but understand that they do a lovely breakfast for $22.

The meals and staff were excellent. The staff were very helpful when booking the spa and giving us complementary towels for the spa. The food was excellent in the dining room for dinner and breakfast.

The room was comfortable and clean, but the furniture and furnishings were quite dated. The leather lounge chairs were worn through in many places. Got cold over night and the heater was old and took awhile to warm up the room.

Lakeland Resort is very clean and tidy. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the pool when the weather was fine and we enjoyed the spa daily. When we ordered dinner there the food was so good and the service was amazing. The breakfast buffet was amazing, too. Thank you, Lakeland Resort, for a pleasant stay.

The location was excellent, the room was neat and tidy with all the comforts and necessities you need, and the view of the lake was astonishing! The breakfast buffet and the dinner menu were both top notch, with a range of meals and choices that were most appealing.

The chair in our room was rather worn, and the shower was a little on the low pressure side. But nothing too severe to get overly upset about.

All. Warm and Cozy. Safe and Dry! Thanks for turning on my heater, was awesome when I turned up from a long wet drive. Breakfast Food menu was yummy! Fresh and good selection to choose from. Also there is a Cat that kept hanging around my door/room so I gave it some milk to drink... think it appreciated it! Not sure if it is the resorts Cat or not but thought I'd let you know. Thanks heaps

Stay wasn't long enough lol.

Great room, really helpful staff with needing a late check in. Arrive late to a warm room with the heater and light on in the room which was much appreciated. Liked the option to have 3 single beds in a room, that suited our group.

We left a couple of things in the rooms by accident and these were never located, this was disappointing. The decor was a little tired but overall the rooms were tidy, clean and warm.
