Most things were very good, best are the staff, all very friendly and helpful.

The couple in the room next door were having very noisy sex at least three times during the night. Their constant groaning and banging/slapping noises woke me up each time for the duration. I did stick my fingers in my ears but couldn't get sleep that way. Next time I'll pack some ear defenders.

Good location for us as near to family residence. Clean room, good facilities. Lovely swimming pool although didn’t have time to use it.

Would have liked more storage space for clothing. Only one small shelf each side of bed & one hanging rail, so had to live out of our suitcases for our 5 night stay. No bedside lights. The only lighting in the bedroom was 2 small spotlights in the middle of the ceiling. Not good if one person wants to sleep & the other to read. Lovely large mirror in the bedroom but no light over it so you could actually see when doing hair or applying makeup. Good lighting in the bathroom but mirror to far away for short-sighted people!

Staff friendliness, location and breakfast choices.

Decor in corridor looked a little tired. We were placed at the rear of hotel which was great as each evening was very loud due to large gatherings of corporate groups. I think this was a meeting place for events. Saturday morning 9am was so loud in the foyer couldn't hear yourself talking due to the overwhelming amount of people in the main entrance blocking the area and corridors. Apart from that we had a good sleep and the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was great. Didn't really fancy watching boxing on all the TVs at 07:30 in the morning with music a little loud.

This was my first stay at Village Hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the hotel is just a short, easy walk from the town centre. The pool is a good size and includes a sauna and steam room, which made for a relaxing experience.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have hot water on one of the days, and since we were on a tight schedule and desperate for a shower, it was quite inconvenient. It was also difficult to reach the front desk immediately. We ended up using the gym showers instead. However, they did change our room in the afternoon, and we didn’t have any more issues after that.

Staff upon arrival very pleasant and helpful. Onsite bar and restaurant was a bonus. Room very clean and spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, decent size tv and a nice bathroom. Room nicely decorated and well laid out.

Air-conditioning didn't perform very well on the first night, staff explained that they were having some issues with one side of the building however our side wasn't great. We were provided with fan which fell apart once turned on. Through the night the aircon turned off and the room became unbearably hot quite quickly. The next morning we left the aircon running and figured out that it was infact on a timer to turn off after a few hours. During the warmer months this is not ideal.

The location is ideal, only a 10 minute walk into the town centre,with plenty of parking on site. The staff were really amazing,enjoying their interactions with guests while remaining very professional.There are plenty of facilities on site for the exercise conscious, along with huge TV screens for those more armchair orientated (me).Our room was not the largest, but was scrupulously clean,(as was the bathroom) and had all the usual amenities.The bar/restaurant area was busy (euro 24) but food was ordered and arrived quickly and was very enjoyable. A massive shout-out to MOLLY, the young lady serving on the bar,the hotel is lucky to have such an asset. Netta, Magdalena, Jack and Josie all combined to ensure our stay was truly amazing. This hotel is truly a hidden gem and we will find reasons to come to Warrington and stay again.

Great location. Very nice bar area. Friendly staff. Nice sized, clean rooms. Comfy bed.

Room too hot. Air conditioning didn’t work well enough so we didn’t sleep.

We arrived a little before the official check-in time but this wasn't a problem and we were given a very nice room. Unfortunately the heating was off in the room. It was like an icebox. It transpired that the heating control had broken. We were immediately offered another room but following a discussion we were promptly given a heater which warmed the room nicely. The staff were very pleasant and eager to please and make us feel comfortable. The room was clean, quiet with space to move round with all our bags

The property was clean and staff friendly. My room was comfortable. What I was really impressed with was how the Village hotel has become a hub for the local community- I loved seeing the families coming in for swim lessons, seniors using the pool for exercise, coffee groups at Starbucks, and other activities at the hotel. As a solo traveler, this made me feel safe and at home. The community visitors were friendly, quiet, and respectful. It really felt like home away from home. Thanks for the small community feeling!

The location was ideal for us and easy to find

We came down for breakfast about 08:15 on our first morning and there were no sausages. We didn’t know about the car park as we arrived at the hotel about 8pm that there was a payment system in place. The machine to register your vehicle was directly to the left as you walked in the front door. (Partly obscured). We didn’t see the vehicle registration machine. It wasn’t till next day we realised about the car park payment. Easily remedied by seeing reception and they sorted it.
