I liked the location, very near to attractions. Breakfast is quite good buffet. Staff are helpful and nice people. Shower area and hot water perfect. Air condition is good.

Rooms are a little small but ok. Toilet has no shattaf (water hose for cleaning) just a built in nozzle which is not convenient and consuming more water (however most turkish hotels using the same ). They don't privide iron machine. The refrigerator noise in the room. The exhaust fan in bathroom not working. Generally classification of 4 stars for this hotel is not matching with modern countries classification... but for Turkey this hotel level as 4 stars is reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. Doors are opened by normal keys. Noise from neighbors can be heared but still ok. Only one chair povided in the room.

The hotel was very well located amongst the major tour attractions, all in short walking distance. Plenty of restaurants around providing a lot of choice. The hotel itself is neat, very clean and well presented. The staff were extraordinarily helpful with 24/7 reception. The breakfast was included and very suitable. Overall a very nice place and I would stay again.

The location did have a downside being next to Hagia Sophia with a 6am call to prayer “wake up call”.

Quiet clean nice staff. Breakfast good. Let shower run a few minutes to get hot not a big deal. Our room 315 faced Hagia Sophia (omg 2 blocks away! ) Blue Mosque 1 block further. Right in the middle of all tourist must do spots. Hotel will arrange airport pickup. Even that was amazing 1 block over from the hotel go to The AND Hotel and restaurant On the roof. Amazing views ... ask for Ken ... he makes it an amazing experience. Takes photos for you. Takes care of you Is a bit pricy but worth every penny. Made for a memorial evening! A once in a lifetime experience. We are loving Istanbul and have only been here 3 days. Doing 10 day tour around western Turkey. Tour Radar ... we used them in Morocco and were very impressed with our knowledge 3 m?

Close to Blue Mosque and main sights. Clean and staff efficient. Breakfast was ok, limited choice and didn’t vary at all, but plenty there. Breakfast staff were excellent and hard working. Bed comfortable

The rooms were spacious but soulless. I was hoping for something with a bit more personality. Sorry to say but the front desk staff were pretty grumpy, especially the night manager who couldn’t pull himself away from his phone sometimes to speak with you…it’s a shame, a smile costs nothing but it can make a difference to your impression of the place….

I loved how close the property was to main attractions so close to Hagia Sophia and basilica cistern and the blue mosque not even a 5 min walk. Have stayed at this hotel before with my family but came again because of how great the staff are and how good the location is as well as the hotel being very clean. Would definitely come again and stay at the same hotel. The staff are very attentive and looked after us well especially with sorting out airport transfers and the cleaners are also good left the room very clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Istanbul and would recommend staying in the sultanahmead region as there is such a peaceful vibe. I also felt very safe as a young women in the area so would recommend it for any young female travellers. As well as the staff being very nice too and made us feel comfortable The hotel room we had has such a great view of the Hagia Sophia and overall amazing vibes in the area when I come Istanbul again I would 100% stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to any family or friends who come here !!!

Rooms a little bit warm for our liking (typically 22 degrees centigrade) and air con switched off because of the season. Of course, opening the windows helped 😀. Breakfast was fine for us (your tastes might be different, of course) but a bit more variety each day would have been nice if possible. Noise from corridors sometimes intrusive due to large air gaps under doors, but that seems quite common in hotels these days, and I assume a safety thing??

the location for all the main historical attractions was superb. the staff were all very helpful and friendly. the roof terrace was a nice place to sit with friends to have a late evening drink. the room was clean and well looked after.

the lift to our side of the hotel was often not working resulting in walking up 4 flights of quite narrow stairs. it was unfortunate that on every occasion we asked about food in the evening the Cook was not available and not food could be provided.

The hotel is generally not bad. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is quite filling. The location is great. At night it is quiet enough for the center itself. The room is very simple. The mattress is not very comfortable. One or two days will do just fine. excellent view from the roof of the hotel, but one moment was very unpleasant. See further.

In the evening we came after a long walk around the city and decided to have a cocktail. The time was about 20.00. We went up to the roof and expected to have a good time with a cocktail or glass of wine. But, to our great surprise, there was no bartender in the bar who could prepare something. We barely managed to get two glasses of wine, but it turned out to be of such poor quality that it was impossible to drink. In short, take your wine with you from duty free. This is such a fly in the ointment, in a generally good old hotel.

My mother and aunt stayed for 3 nights, the beds were comfy, good variety of items for breakfast, hot breakfast items changed daily. Hotel is in a prime location easy to walk to landmarks in Sultanahmet area. The staff are all lovely, very helpful and friendly. Staff were accommodating for our early arrival and departure, organised airport transfers making the whole process easier. Would definitely recommend staying here and if we go to İstanbul again I wouldn't hesitate to rebook! 🙂 #goldengirls
