We received very good instructions how to reach the property, since it has a special location, being located on a "street of stairs". We walked to the centre in the morning, it was an easy and relatively short walk. On the way back we took bus number 3 as suggested by our host, which worked out well after all the walks in the city. Warning: first the bus goes to a completely different direction than expected, however don't panic. After a few turns and about 15-20 minutes, it will get to the bus stop you want to get off

We had the downstairs property, which had somewhat less view than we would have expected based on the photos, but it didn't cause a real problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The host, Dominik, was exceptionally helpful, providing all the essential information we needed. Although the Old Town is about a 15-minute walk away, with some stairs at the beginning, it's mostly flat afterward. We had no trouble bringing a lightweight buggy along. Getting back to the apartment is convenient with either a bus or Uber. The view from the terrace is stunning, and the apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine.

You have to walk around 8minutes to reach the nearest supermarket and then while returning back climb the stairs.

Fantastic apartment - very spacious and clean. The apartment was well furnished and provided everything we could possibly need from washing machine, kettle, all the cutlery and pans you could need, TV etc. The terrace was an added bonus with wonderful views of Dubrovnik (and sunset!). There are some decent takeaways nearby that deliver for free and affordable (use Wolt) - nice to eat out on the terrace once in a while. The apartment is also about 18 minutes away from Old Town and two beaches. Sanj beach is about 26 minutes by walking. The hosts - Dominic and his family- were very friendly and always keen to help! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik.

As the hotel is on a hill be prepared to walk up and down many steps! It’s a good idea to walk to Old Town and take a taxi back (5-6 euros but can go up to 10 euros during peak hours).

It is a very nice place. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. The kitchen has everything you need, even oil and some spices. The place is spacious and clean. Our room had no view, but there was a wonderful terrace just outside the door with a breathtaking view. Yes, it is on top of the hill, and there are many stairs to take if you want to reach a bakery or a grocery shop. However, it is worth the trouble. Nothing is too far in Dubrovnik, it is walkable if you have strong knees and good shoes. Bring your own shampoos/shower gels, etc. There is only a hand soap in the bathrooom. Be out of the apartment at 10am sharp. We were given an impatient look by the lady who came to clean vacant units at 10:15am. I would definitely come back. Thank you for hosting us.

The apartment was just as described, clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and helpful. However, be ready for a hike if you dont have a car. Getting to the old town from the apartment is easy as it is down hill and takes 15-20 minutes. Dubrovnik is built on a hill and getting to the apartment from the old town includes climbing many many steep stairs which makes it a 30 minute hike. We ended up using a taxi to return to the apartment every time as the price is comparable to bus prices if you travel as a group.

Lovely views! Quiet space, hosts were very kind and accommodating. Free parking. It is quite literally at the top of the city, you can't go any further up! So be prepared for not just the steps but every single one of them.

Although the exterior view from the patio is absolutely gorgeous, you're in a bit of a half basement sort of space under the parking. You can't hear anything above you but it makes it a bit dark inside.

Great view, bus station right beside the house. Cute bakery on the way to old town. A lot of stairs are good training. The most important - the host is very friendly and kind man. Perfect place to stay.

Lovely apartment, had everything we needed and the outside space was big. Beautiful view of the sunset from the parking bay above the apartment. Comfy beds & decent shower.

The walk up from the city , over 500 steps! Also the air con was not working in the bedroom which made it very hot to sleep at night.

The flat had plently of room, WiFi was great, they supplied toiletries which was very useful. They even had directions for nearest shops and also the quickest way to get to the old town. Outside the flat there was a sign showing where it was, which is so much help considering a lot buildings look very similar. The staff were nice and friendly. The views from the patio where also amazing.

Not a lot of natural light so it felt dark most of the time. The mattress wasn't the best but I just put more blankets to improve that. The shower wasn't very powerful.

The house is located on top of a hill overlooking Dubrovnik with stunning views. The house is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The lady that let me in was very friendly and also gave me her Iphone adapter to use, which I had lost. The house is only a 20 min walk from the Pile Gate and is also easily accessible from the airport. I'd recommend staying here if you don;t want to be in centre as it's very busy, especially if you have a car. Parking is also expensive in the centre which is why Kono was perfect for me!

No negatives for the actual house, only finding the house once you have parked as there's plenty of houses next to each other can be tricky.
