The suite was lovely and nicely fitted in modern style with high ceiling. Washroom was a decent size although not large for a luxury rated property. Check in and check out were a breeze with Sara messaging us a day before arrival. Location is great, only a short stroll to the lovely old town and all those great dining options. Although only has street parking, both ticketed and free, these were not difficult to find iwhen we returned in the evening. Of course we were there in May so not sure what parking will be like in peak season. The breakfast spread was good with mix of hot and cold, one of the better ones during our trip through Puglia. We would rate this b'fast 2nd out of our 5 B&B locations. And service was cheerful. Monopoli turned out to be a good choice when we were tossing between it, Polignano and Valle d'Itria. We would recommend staying at Monopoli, and staying at 1212 Pirrelli.

Nothing to dislike. Just a note about the high steps in tbe staircases being an old building. And yes no elevators. But a lttle exercise doesn't hurt.

We loved the clean open space and the location of the suite is superb for exploring the city as it is just a short walk from the train station and very close to the main square and the old town which is where we spent most of our days. The host was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

This is a very minor point but the lighting in the main room could have benefitted from having a table or low level lamp away from the bed as the ceiling light was quite bright, and the heights of the mirrors and hooks were all designed for taller guests. The breakfast at the cafe might also not suit everybody - we enjoyed it but could see that the staff there weren't always necessarily pleased to see us, albeit very friendly. The ground floor suite is also a little tucked away and we had no sense of the place or weather outside. These are very small points however as this is an excellent place to stay.

Customer service was amazing. Sara was very warm and friendly and made the stay very pleasant, was one of the nicest staff I’ve experienced in a hotel in a while :) Room was spacious, location was really central between the old town, water and train, and everything was clean and modern with a comfortable bed.

Three of the amenities didn’t work in the room including the fridge and hot water for the bath which is one of the reasons I booked it (so for us wasn’t worth what we spent on the room), we did get offered a new room but it was on the last day and weren’t going to be in the room so there wasn’t a point; breakfast could be improved

Great location - lots of shops/pharmacies nearby and only a 5 minute walk to the harbour, beach and old town. super helpful/friendly staff. We also were able to check in two hours early which was great! Very good communication - the hosts contact you via WhatsApp so you can always ask questions even if they aren’t there.

The breakfast wasn’t great so ended up not going after day 1. We knew the pool/sauna were to be closed during our visit but the fitness studio was also closed due to bad weather. Our room was on the ground floor so was quite dark during the day. Then at night, there were three green lights on the wall that kept the room bright all night - so going to sleep was challenging sometimes.

We loved the location, it was perfect for us, right downtown close to everything, size was also good seeing it had a separate little kitchen area. Staff super friendly, breakfast was yum too!

We absolutely loved everything, the only thing was the street was very noisy and I used ear plugs each night. In saying that we were there over Friday Saturday night so I assume it was noisier being the weekend. Also breakfast is only a small selection but for me it was perfect and delicious. Lastly there are quite a few narrow stairs up to your room if u have a heavy suitcase you will need some muscle:)

Central location, Sara at front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, has all the amenities you could need!

we stayed on level 1 and it was quite noisy from the street below, very early in the morning. We were lucky as we had ear plugs it didn’t really effect us too much. There’s a green emergency light that stays on in the bedroom throughout the night and sunlight comes through the curtains bright and early which if you don’t have an eye mask isn’t great!

We loved the location, super close to shops, lovely restaurants, and the gorgeous seafront and views. It's a lovely little boutique hotel, beautifully kept, well decorated, and very comfortable, if a little quirky!

We found the double staircase a little exhausting! Our bedroom was charming, up on the 1st floor of one set of stairs. And we had a very strange shower up on an elevated level from some steps. Then the breakfast terrace was on the top floor on the second set of stairs - about 3 floors up. So it was up to the room, down to the lobby, and back up 3 floors to breakfast... and down again!

We Loved Everything! Our suite was amazing, beautifully decorated and spacious with a terrace and jacuzzi! The hotel itself was so chic and felt so welcoming, there was a lovely lounge and bar area inside and also beautiful outdoor seating area on the roof terrace! The location was a short walk to the sea and old town of Monopoli! Breakfast on the roof terrace was a great way to start the day too! Sara was so kind and endlessly helpful with everything we asked! She even helped us organise a day trip to and from alberobello! Thank you again! I’d highly recommend Suite 1212 and would love to return one day!

We could not have asked for a better hotel to enjoy Monopoli and the surrounding area! Right from the start we were very well taken care of by Sara: she is very easily reachable via Whatsapp, and ensured that our check-in went as smoothly as possible (we were lucky to be able to do an early check-in as soon as we arrived). She was available throughout our stay for questions about parking, restaurants, tips, etc. The hotel itself is located in a nice neighbourhood with good restaurants, nice shops and very close to the big square and the old town. There is parking readily available on the street (white lines are for free parking, blue is paying), and we nearly always found a spot close by, if not there is a free parking a short walk away. It's in a renovated building with only a handful of rooms, and the one we had really exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious, clean, had lots of light, was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Room keeping came by everyday, and there were two complementary bottles of water in the fridge each time! They also have an in-house spa which we did not experience but is definitely an added plus if you want it. They do not provide breakfast directly at the hotel, however you receive a voucher each day to have breakfast at a very nice caffè right around the corner. Many locals seem to go there from what we saw which was a nice experience, and they have tables inside or outside on their terrace. The coffee is very good, they have fresh orange juice and the pastries are delicious (special mention for the croissant with pistachio cream). All in all we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again if given the chance!

The only negative point to mention is the lack of possibility to shield light in the room. The curtains do not provide sufficient darkness in the morning, especially during very sunny days like we experienced. This means that very early in the morning the light comes through and the room becomes quite bright. For some people it might not be an issue, but if you are sensitive to light it could bother you. You can also slightly hear the noises of the city through the windows but this really quietens down at night and really did not bother us! These are minor points which did not impact our experience as mentioned above :)

Suite 1212 was a great part of our trip. With only a 4-5 minute walk from the Old Town, the location could not have been better- especially given that my boyfriend and I had a rental car. The staff was very friendly and helped us into our room as well as show us how to use facilities such as the spa tub, espresso machine, wine refrigerator, and breakfast terrace. The staff was always available to answer questions and give recommendations in and around Monopoli. Thank you for your hospitality!
