Excellent modern and brand new hotel in a heritage building . The hotel is opposite Helsinki central train station . The building is connected to city center mall . Lots of cafes of wide choice are minutes away ! Shopping malls restaurants , cafes , museums , the Odi library , Helsinki cathedral and all the important major attractions are walking distance ! The food is excellent , room service for food available in the night . The hotel is going to open a a top floor bar very soon , this bar has excellent view of the city . I liked everything about the property ! The staffs are outstanding ! Check in was easy . Front desk and reception staffs Robert ,Zuhair , Erkki , Jason and Neihanna provided outstanding service in check in check out , city tour planning , restaurant recommendation and any request I made . If I visit Helsinki again this will the hotel I will choose again . Very happy with their outstanding service .

Everything else. Clean, live lobby pianist, very good drinks in bar. Best hotel breakfast in Helsinki i have had. And i have been in over 10 different hotels. The interior was classy and beautiful. It would have been 10, if not these, downsides i mentioned.

Staff should speak finnish, but it was the level of not speaking, i wasn't expecting. Reception doesn't speak, bars/restoraunts doesn't. I believe it's good to provide jobs, but this was ridiculous. All the money upfront+200€ deposit. Never have i seen anything like that. It's normal for hotels to check a little sum, and if you 'forget' to pay or don't want to pay they can take it from your card anyway, but again this was ridiculous and felt really unpleasent. In superior room you don't have enough space to put your stuff. And i would prefer not to live so all my clothes are still in bags.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Helsinki! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer all the comfort you need. A huge thank you to the reception team, especially Simo and Zouhair, for their kindness and professionalism. Their warm welcome and helpfulness truly made our stay unforgettable. The varied and delicious breakfast, along with the modern facilities, perfectly complemented the experience. This is the ideal place for a successful stay in Helsinki. We will definitely be back!

Everything!! We were celebrating a special occasion and the whole team ensured we had a memorable time. The location was perfect and the rooms are GORGEOUS. The spa facilities were excellent. Also definitely worth trying breakfast at least once - the selection was the best I’ve ever seen on a breakfast buffet. I really can’t recommend this hotel more.

The only tiny issue we had was on arrival at 1am, it was very unclear how we were meant to access the hotel without a key card - perhaps some instructions ahead of arrival or make it clearer that there is a bell for reception on the digital intercom.

The location was fantastic, very central with good access to public transport, shops and restaurants. Love the breakfast. Special shout-out to Lili from the front desk who was on duty on the morning of Oct 7. Unfortunately I had a fall and sprained my ankle. I asked the front desk whether they had any walking aid that I could borrow and Lili took the effort to find me an elbow crutch and brought it to my room. Can't thank her enough. Not forgetting the nice staff at the bar who helped prepare ice pack for my swollen ankle. I didn't manage to get their names but I remember the lady with short blonde hair (on duty the evening of Oct 6) and a guy with dark hair (on Oct 7). Also thank you to George, nice young chap with long fair curly hair who promptly helped me to bring in a floor lamp which seemed to have been missing from the room. To the housekeeping staff too who cleaned my room on Oct 7, whom I got to meet as I was stuck in the room nursing my ankle, well mannered and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was our first venture into a five-star establishment, and it delivered an elevated experience that stood apart in subtle, yet significant ways. The Room and Amenities The hotel offers all the hallmarks of a recently refurbished four-star but with enhancements that reflect its five-star ambitions. The room, though a basic category, was thoughtfully designed and generously spacious. It featured warm, elegant decor and amenities aimed at making every moment more comfortable. The highlight for us was the carefully aligned TV, perfectly positioned opposite the bed—an overlooked luxury that allowed us, amidst rare tranquility, to savor an uninterrupted movie night. The large screen’s casting capability stood out, enabling seamless streaming from our devices—a must in a tech-savvy country like Finland, where public TV offerings often fall short. Noteworthy too was the exceptional shower and the unexpected delight of a Japanese-style toilet, which added a playful yet refined touch to the bathroom experience. Functional details, such as a plentiful supply of hangers and a robust hairdryer, further underscored the hotel’s attention to practical comfort. Breakfast: A Standout Experience The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary. Finland’s four-star hotels often excel in their morning offerings, yet this five-star experience elevated it further. The spread was diverse, beautifully presented, and showcased impeccable quality. Local Finnish pastries and savory options were authentically and expertly baked, a testament to our decade-long familiarity with these culinary staples.

Location was superb in central location. Brand new Hotel Jun 2024 so everything was pristine. Staff were very pleasant and helpful Room was great - albeit we were given a disabled access room, so we had no bath in that room unlike the same room my daughter was given. wasn't a major problem except things like shaving mirror would have been inaccessible to wheelchair user as it was attached high up the wall. Lighting was really poor, going for a more mood lighting when probably disabled people need good lighting. The restaurant wasn't really up and running yet and a very limited number of choices. Our waiter was lovely but forgot stuff, didn't bring snacks with the aperitif - some guests waited so long to be served they walked out. The food however was very nice. Breakfast was nicely displayed but most cooked food was cold unless cooked eggs were done for you. not kept warm well. most things were available. Gym was exceptionally well laid out, spa was open from 6am till 10am then 4pm till 10pm. There were no staff available no jacuzzi and no pool so a little boring - only used it once although it was free to use. Would go again and would recommend it.

The hotel's central location was perfect for our stay in Helsinki. It was close to transportation, shops, and a wide variety of restaurants, allowing us to fully experience the city. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable during our visit. The individual at the front desk, Zouhair, was particularly outstanding. He efficiently checked us in and happily accommodated all of our requests. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others visiting Helsinki.

The only thing I didn't like was the hotel entrance; it took me a while to find it.

I had a fantastic stay at the NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa! The room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of unique hot and cold dishes, delicious pastries and cakes, and several coffee preparations—all of exceptional quality. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Helsinki and just a short walk from the train station. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the room size, which I found a bit small.

An exceptional location for exploring Helsinki. Very cozy and quiet room. Pillows were countless! Room has everything you would expect and all is in good taste. We also visited the spa level, which had an relaxing atmosphere from first step in. The breakfast was extremely tasty and had a good selection. I especially praise the selection of cheeses. Strong coffee and sparkling wine made it all perfect. You can also borrow bikes from hotell, for free. The room was overlooked to spark several times a day, but this service could also be canceled. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Extraordinary.
