Location and breakfast. It’s very close to the main station, stores and cafes. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I ever had, with plenty of vegan options. The bed was very comfortable.

Our room was on a different side of the main entrance and took a lot of walking plus using an old elevator (not great with a lot of luggage, we also had no help to carry it). It also faced a construction site which got quite loud in the morning. I’ve stayed in other Scandic hotels before and the facilities felt a bit dated on this one.

The stay was incredible. Great staff, great breakfast, great room which was very clean and had a city view. Room keeping was also done daily which was fantastic and the events at the hotel offered were endless. Great location, close to the train station which makes it easy for a trip to Lahti as we stayed in Helsinki for the Ironman 70.3 world championships. They also offered to hold onto our large suitcases and bike before checkin and after and also helped us organise a Taxi to the docks for our ferry. I would definitely come here again.

The breakfast was excellent, splendid, and magnificent :) Everything was nice and clean, very elegant lobby. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location - perfect, you couldn't imagine it better.

My room was rather tiny. It also didn't have a window, but I knew it beforehand. For one night, it wasn't the problem, but I think I would feel claustrophobic after a longer period. Setting the temperature of the AC wasn't very intuitive, and I doubt it worked well. I would rearrange the sauna changing room and make it more comfy for a longer rest between sauna sessions. First of all, it lacked glasses to drink some water, bathrobes would be nice, maybe some slippers. In general, I would try to make it more like a mini-spa than just a changing room. That was the way it was arranged in my previous hotel during my stay in Finland, in Turku. But these are minor things, and I recommend the hotel anyway.

The room is perfect for a couple, clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was big and very comfortable. AC was amazing too. I did not mind not having windows in the room at all. Also, the location is perfect, right in the city center so it's super easy to get around! And the hotel is very nice, clean and friendly staff. I would recommend.

The breakfast buffet is not suitable for vegans and vegetarians. We, as vegetarians, had very little selection of foods to choose from. And for vegans, it would be almost impossible to eat anything from the breakfast buffet. Also, we could clearly hear people talking and laughing from the room next to us, since the noise coming from the ventilation. We talked to reception about it and they gave us earplugs. So this was a bit unpleasant as it made us feel like we had no privacy. Lastly, there was an emergency exit neon sign on the door (inside the room) which was very bright, it would light up the room when all the lights were off. So this was annoying when trying to sleep at night.

The stay was amazing! We took a basic room but it was SO BIG. It was also possible to adjust the bed using the remote control. Storage space was more than sufficient, there was also a locker in the room, and the staff would be able to store your luggage after check-in too. Bathroom was huge and very classy with the gold taps and modern furnishing. Comes with normal shower and rain shower. It is a smart TV so you can hook up your spotify or netflix or youtube and enjoy the entertainment. There is also a sauna, which was very spacious. Very nice experience really. And of course it is very close to the train station and everything.

Only downside was that the door of the shower has a gap. Stylish but not functional. The water would spill out to the bathroom if you're not careful.

Amazing breakfast, friendly staff, overall a beautiful hotel. Riom was spacious and the bath was a nice touch. Really high standard overall and will stay again.

I had some issues with the room, had to change rooms as there was a problem with the bath. There is a chromecast in the rooms which was not working making it hard to use the TV in the evenings. I made a note at the reception on both and would have been nice to get some compensation, even a drink on the house for the several issues. This was no deal breaker and I will definitely stay again but for a high standard hotel, would have expected a small token.

The location is great, central, 5 mins from the train station, many restaurants and bars around, walking distance from any kind of shop you would need, public transport and taxis a the main door of the hotel. I arrived 2 hours earlier than the check in time and they gave me the room. The staff is very much helpful and nice. The sauna and gym are functional and a great add.

The sink in the bathroom is kind of small and the way how the tap is fixed makes it hard to deal with it, and you will always splash water around the place. Next to my bed on the edge of the wall there was an old dust needed cleaning. The isolation is not great and you could hear water from other rooms or the noise from the street.

Great breakfast, high quality food and presentation. Room was comfortable and well sized, and quiet.

The shower flooded every morning, even on our last day we had to make a flood barrier out of towels. I told reception. There were not enough hooks for things like towels in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was poorly though out, particularly the position of the switches. The bar and restaurant was closed on Sunday, which was OK, if a bit odd - but we couldn't even get a cup of coffee.

Nice hotel right in the middle of Helsinki. The rail station is about 500 yards away and there is a tram stop outside the front door. We had rooms in the basement which had no windows: however, this was compendated for by lovely lit forest scenes on the walls. The bed was very comfy and the shower powerful and warm (and nice toiletries too). We didn't eat at the hotel but we used the bar for a nightcap and the staff there were very friendly - we had licorice 'shots' which are a Finnish speciality (these ones made in the hotel) and they gave us some licorice sweets to go with them. We took part in the Ascension Day parkrun at Tokoinranta, close by, and didn't get back to the hotel until about 11:20, it was no issue for them to give us an extra 15 minutes over the noon checkout so that we were able to have a proper freshen-up.

The location was amazing. Right in the center and close to everything. The facilities were very good as well as the breakfast which was exceptionally elaborate. Staff was very helpful when asked. The hotel is newly renovated which shows because everything is very modern, just like the pictures.

Room service was not the best i had. Only towels were changed, trash emptied and bed made. No new sheets in the week+ we were there, there were pebbles everywhere in the end because they are all over town and were not cleaned up by housekeeping. Nothing has been cleaned during our stay i think. The bed sqeaked as well. And we got a disabled room which i dont mind but we were taken aback since we were not informed.
