Ideal location with supermarkets in walking distance nearby for anything you may have forgetting during your trip. (Although HI do offer free essentials at the reception if required) Reception & dining area very aesthetic with a nice welcoming atmosphere, however you would think the bedrooms were of a different hotel. Quite dated and not very modern to match the other parts of the hotel. Although everything was clean so cannot complain. Bedrooms had luggage rack, wardrobe & tea/coffee facilities. Good working wifi & TV to cast. The breakfast was 10/10, fresh and large variety available. Plenty of dining space with a pram. Parking cost is £10 per 24hrs.

Bedrooms quite dated and not very modern to match the other parts of the hotel. Although everything was clean so cannot complain. Bed was a small double, so a bit of a squeeze.

First room was not what we asked for so staff did change our room into a slightly better one big enough bathroom good lighting not so good but ok

lighting and another comfy chair not just one Also when we arrived asked reception why you had to get a ticket to lift barrier to get into car park 3 days we were they for a family baptism on day of leaving we had to pay for three days parking which is very unacceptable especially when asked about the ticket only bad thing as have stayed there before and that did not happen so unfortunately we will not stay again a big hotel charging for parking very upset

On arrival we were welcomed and booked in by Martine, she was friendly and professional and answered any of our questions. We needed a taxi for later on that evening, Martine sorted that out. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but saw other residents eating and their meals looked lovely. We had breakfast on the morning of leaving and it was fabulous with such a choice of hot & cold food. It was a very nice experience staying here and will definitely book again next time we come to Coventry. Thank you to all the lovely staff for making our stay very pleasant.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

It was all really good, apart from when we went for breakfast, the young lady told us that we had only paid for one breakfast, so another lady come along and asked if everything was okay, the lady that was surviving me said that it was showing up that I had only paid for one breakfast, I was just trying to find my email and the lady that come along said that ok don’t worry the other people had probably got it wrong. When we checked in we was served my Martina and she was absolutely lovely, polite, friendly , helpful and cheerful.x

Room was great, clean and well appointed. Even the loos in the bar area were well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The young lady behind reception seemed genuinely interested in what my dog had won at Crufts, which was nice. The dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch. The addition of the dog waste bin was very welcome too.

The room was very warm, despite turning the radiator off and opening the only window which opened. This was a very small window at the top of the frame, so of very little use. I found the drinks extremely expensive in the bar too. Plus I object to having to pay parking when I have already paid quite a high price for my room.

Nice, clean and quiet room, excellent bed! Good and wide variety of choice for breakfast. Location of the hotel (in my case) close to my office, but also close to Supermarkets, fast-food restaurants and potential other needs.

There is no good infrastructure for pedestrians and in my case, I had to cross a very busy road which was not without danger! No controlled cross over.

Efficient and friendly staff, we arrived on Christmas day lunch time and were met with a lovely warm welcome by Evalina. Check-in was quick and simple VERY Comfortable bed, which made it difficult to get out of it every morning .. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice, everything perfectly and freshly cooked. plenty of parking.

The lift to the upper floor was out of order the whole four days of our stay. We appreciate this was over the Christmas break and maintenance probably unavailable. Other people letting their doors slam late at night and early in the morning instead of holding their doors until closed... *** This is not the hotels fault. It has more to do with inconsiderate people.

Excellent stay from check in to check out. Friendly and professional reception and in house staff. Executive room was very clean with all expected facilities , what was not expected was a very full and complimentary mini bar. We stayed on a DBB basis and although the dinner menu was limited the food was very good both in quality and quantity as was the self serve breakfast . Overall an excellent stay at a hotel which we recommend

The wine at dinner was slightly expensive . Suggest management consider providing a red/ white / rose house wine as part of the DBB package

It was a fabulous hotel for the price. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Everything and everywhere was clean and tidy and the hotel was tastefully decorated. Breakfast was also very good and had the option of veggie sausages, which particularly impressed me, as have been to hotels before where these are not available, disappointingly. I could not fault this hotel at all and we will be back in the near future.

Room size, but it was to be expected as it was a standard double. I think the room was very clean though and well appointed, so I had no complaints really.

Cannot fault this hotel it’s becoming a home from home hotel, still got another 2 visits go this year, and believe it or not I can’t wait, you walk in this hotel and you know you are away from all the stress everything about this hotel says “COME AND RELAX WE Will TAKE CARE OF YOU” from the spacious welcoming reception that automatically says take your time don’t rush “we’re over here when you need us” to the bed that says “I GOT YOU.” Then onto breakfast which is totally at your leisure. Not for getting the staff. You will not, and I repeat you will not fine a better staff team from the receptionist/Concierge to bar staff and room attendants and all the kitchen team. You all make it a pleasure each and every visit, to sum it up i booked my wedding anniversary in January for August bank holiday weekend just to make sure I had the room.
