I've been here the last year and gladly came back. The room was very clean, the position of course is really good and the view also was nice. Unfortunately what doesn't give a 10 is how we have been welcomed by the staff, with a really bad price comunication. We came in the evening and we've been told that dogs would pay 15€/night and it was okay. The day after another receptionist told us we still needed to pay for the dog stay. Then we've discovered that dogs pay 30€/night, and considering that we have a 4kg and 9kg dog it is a bit high. But as I said before the price itself was not the problem but how it was communicated to us. I still would like to advice the place but of course not with dogs.

+ We got upgraded to a nicer and more spacious room with a kitchen box and a coffee machine. + The hotel has a small parking but we were lucky there was space to squeeze our car in every time. + Our room had a nice sunset view and if you look out of the window you could see the castle! + Staff was friendly

- The TV remote controller didn't seem to work even after changing batteries. - The parking IS small. - In the evening if you open the window, you can smell every pizza that was being prepared in the nearby Italian restaurant

This is not a hotel, this is a fairy tale! :) I woke up early in the morning from the singing of birds, opened the window to the garden and just stood and admired this heavenly feeling! First of all, a huge thank you to the staff - the hotel manager helped me park the car, he ran out of the hotel and walked a long distance with me to help me! The hotel rooms are very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is amazingly delicious! The lady was making fresh scrambled eggs and omelettes! The location of the hotel is ideal, you can see the huge castle on the hill from the street! We just fell in love with Salzburg and will come back to the same hotel for a long time!

The only small negative is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Lifting heavy suitcases up the small stairs was not very easy. Please create a paid service for loaders (butlers), we are ready to pay for it! There are no more cons. The hotel is perfect!

Very accommodating staff, good breakfast. Comfortable beds (2 twins pushed together). Good wifi (used own HDMI cable to connect laptop for Netflix). Quiet location (to rear of building). Easy 20 minute walk to town. Grocery close. Water kettle on request. A/C. Elevator. Mini fridge.

Really small room (tho others are available). Free parking in back is a free for all shared with Italian restaurant downstairs. Can be challenging to find a place and maneuver out again.

Small family hotel, with a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Slightly out of the way, but also close to the center. The room is equipped with everything you need, and all devices work correctly. Clean and tidy. Tasty breakfasts, friendly and smiling staff. In the same building a good pizzeria, right next to a shop and a trolley bus stop. To sum up, I recommend it strongly!

The Hotel was lovely, the room was big and spacious and cleanliness was to a high standard. The small kitchen area and fridge within the room was a great facility to have! The staff were very pleasant, especially one particular receptionist Arash who was was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. He made a strong effort to welcome us each time we entered the hotel and always had a pleasant smile on his face. Great to see staff who put in the extra effort.

The air conditioning didn’t seem to be working very well. Walk in open shower wasn’t the best- water often flooded out into the bathroom.

This hotel served our purpose excellently! One night in Salzburg to visit the Fortress and drink Glühwein at the Christmas Markt. The Front Desk clerks were excellent in helping and advising us. But most importantly there was actually parking on site! This was a nice add-on. And their English was super. Breakfast was also excellent; a typical European Breakfast with an additional option of cooked to order eggs. Our non-european friends appreciated this.

It isn't that I didn't like it and not anything that can be fixed but it wasn't as close as I thought it would be to the sites. Not a bad thing because everything else was so great but it seemed a bit longer walk than I anticipated even thought I knew ahead of time.

Easily reached by public transport. Fabulous view of the Salzburg fortress. Good breakfast and helpful staff, especially Ms Elham who was very considerate when we encountered a problem with our booking. Rooms refurbished. Air conditioning was a plus. The walk to centre pleasant and passes bars and restaurants. NB Da Giacomo Restauran/Pizzeria t (on property but family run by Italians) delicious.

WiFi signal was weak in various parts of public spaces and our room.

Our room was comfortable and all staff at hotel were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is fairly well situated to go into the centre of Salzburg which is about a 25 minute walk away or alternatively by using the no. 5 bus which stops pretty much outside the hotel and normally runs about 4 times every hour. Parking was convenient but not particularly spacious; be aware that the hotel shares this with the adjoining very popular pizza restaurant so spaces can be at a premium at certain times.

Poor Wi-Fi connectivity in the room (and elsewhere in the hotel) and air conditioning (whilst off) was occasionally quite noisy with gurgling sounds over night. We also paid and were charged for a deluxe room but are not convinced that the one we stayed in was worthy of this description (we in fact should have been allocated another room but there was a clerical error made at our check-in which only because apparent the following morning - we still wonder whether the room we should have had was in fact superior).

Comfortable but could have been better cleaned . Rooms are big with separate shower from toilette . Breakfast is very good . And Giacomo italian Restaurante next door is excellent !!!

A bit outside of central Salzburg but you have very good transportation by bus right outside of hotel so that was good to get around anywhere . Bus line 5 is great because it also takes you directly to train station .
