The Hotel is located in the old town right in the middle of everything. Great location. I was traveling solo so the room I selected was a single room small but doable for the 1 night that I stayed towards the end of my long trip in Europe. The bed was very comfortable.The Breakfast buffet was delicious and the dining room decor was beautiful it felt as if you were dinning at your own house. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. I Highly recommend this hotel .

The parking outside town which is controlled by the city you have to have a code if you would like to enter the city. You can enter the old town drop your luggage then go back to park outside the old town .You get the code from the hotel. Just be aware that you will have to either haul your luggage to get to the hotel or take your car back to park outside the old town.

The Location of Hotel Wolf is fantastic. This hotel in Salzberg is located next to Restaurants, Bars, and fantastic eateries in Old Town. The Staff at this hotel were lovely, even letting us get some breakfast before opening time because we were headed to Hallstatt early. The Breakfast buffet is amazing! Very glad we got to enjoy it the following morning.

No view to speak of from our room. Just a wall. When I use the "View" filter on my hotel search, I expect a little more.

Staff were really friendly and made it a joy to stay there, and I loved the charm of the place. Breakfast was great too, and in a really lovely setting. I bought the Salzburg card and it covered the 25 bus to Untersberg and the cable-car up to the top. I stopped off at Schloss Hellbrunn on the way back (which was also covered by the Salzburg card) so it was a great day-trip.

Very beautiful location, exceptional breakfast, and kind staff. Everything is close, although, the view from the hotel isn’t so good, merely strolling down the street you can see the fortress and the hotel near some of the best restaurants in the city.

View from hotel isn’t so great because it’s on a narrow street and you can only see the buildings across the street. However, walking down the street a short distance offers an beautiful unobstructed view of the river and also the fortress

Excellent location; walking distance to major sites. Great for walking the dog along the river. The room was spacious with a desk and wardrobe. Updated bathroom. Staff was very helpful with road closure and alternate parking options.

Premium price paid for the dates, yet only, reluctantly, allowed for one hour late checkout. I was there for the city sponsored run. Needed a bit more time to finish, shower, and checkout. Cleaning crew monopolized the tiny elevator.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a lovely breakfast room with soft classical music in the background. A very good choice of food, always being replenished. White table linen and napkins, flowers on the table. Happy smiley faces on the boiled eggs, nasturtium flowers decorating the food and great attention to detail. Staff are very nice and a friendly warm welcome on arrival. We would like to stay again. Thank you.

There is quite a large step up to use the lift from the ground floor, however it is on the level when you get out of it. Just would like to mention this point as a little difficult for people with walking sticks or not too steady on their feet, and also lifting up cases to get into it. The lift was out of order for a time whilst we were staying, being on the third floor was quite difficult for my husband using the stairs with a walking stick. However the staff were apologetic. They have had air conditioning fitted but this is not working and still work in progress, we did have a fan but as it was 32 degrees outside this was not enough to cool the room down and it was extremely hot in the room even with the windows open all night.

top notch hotel. staff super nice, helpful and cordial. vintage ambiance .breakfast- tasty ,vary,the whole bfast room has a touch of luxurious . fantastic service , washing help, 1 minute from the center.

noise of cars from the street at night. as for Salzburg, a word about- the city of GREATNESS ( Mozart ofcourse) is a dead city. shopes that lets one enter inside just one at a time,shopes close at 15.00-16.00, A few restaurants that does not accept one as a guest if you order light food only a full dinner, Salzburg is not a place for ppl who wants to go out at night , sitting in area with ppl, enjoy the night out. THERE IS NOT NIGHT LIFE AT ALL.

Charming atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent breakfast combined with an ideal location in the middle of the old city.

I experience extreme heat waves due to menopause and therefore need a cool room in order to sleep. I booked this hotel, among other reasons because it has an air-conditioning unit in the room. According to the staff, they are not able to turn on the units until a certain temperature due to the climate footprint. I did not take any points off for this as the hotel cannot do anything about this law however I could not sleep more than 3 hours as a consequence to this rule although they had a large Dyson fan in the room. For someone in my situation, and I think there are many women in my age with this issue, it is completely impossible to sleep and enjoy vacation. Again, this is a problem of politics, not the hotel however it is a real problem.

Service is exceptional the staff went out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and happy, over exceeding expectations specially in this part of the world. The place is close to everything you would want to see in the city. Breakfast is excellent. It doesn’t surprise me that this hotel is highly rated.

A wonderful and very cozy hotel right in the center of the city. An old building, which adds the atmosphere, clean room, fast Wi-fi and an amazing breakfast. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely return!

The single room was a bit too small and there was no great view, but the suite was so tastefully designed that these things did not really matter for 1-night stay.
