Pretty much everything! The property was really tastefully decorated and clean, there were good facilities on site, and tortoises that you could go pet and feed. The staff were top tier - super friendly and kind and they were always seeking to make our experience better. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the option for a free afternoon tea and cake, dinner was also really yummy. I was quite sceptical at first because of other reviews not putting this hotel in such a good light, but was very pleasantly surprised that our experience was the complete opposite. I’d encourage anyone considering to book a room here to go for the garden option. This is a really peaceful part of the hotel, with access to a pool and the gym, and right by the tortoises, it’s also just very well kept and quaint. I’d like to put an extra emphasis on just how good the staff were, I’ve never experienced such exceptional hosting, from all the receptionists, waiters, kitchen and bar staff, everyone was always on-hand to help.

Our vacation was simply wonderful. The small, lovingly designed hotel complex with its bungalows in the quiet, green garden impressed us right away. The grounds, with two pools and direct access to the sea, were especially beautiful. The food, whether for breakfast or dinner, was decent. The entire team was incredibly friendly and helpful. Ishan, in particular, stood out with his warm personality and great sense of humor, making our stay even more enjoyable. A tip for travelers: Depending on the season, there may be seaweed on the beach, and it's definitely worth renting a car to explore the island's stunning beaches. We fully enjoyed our vacation, and saying goodbye was really hard. Highly recommended!

The view from our room was incredible, and we can’t compliment the staff enough. The reception team was always welcoming and helpful, and the bar staff were fantastic as well. I was especially grateful for the gluten-free options available at breakfast, which made my mornings so much easier. The salon staff were also amazing—they were highly skilled and helped me with a problem I was having, making the experience even better. A special shoutout goes to Ishan, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. ☺️

Bad plumning

It is a very nice hotel. It is located near the long beautiful beach. Personel is very friendly, and helpful (they helped us to organize everything we needed) Food in the restaurant is very good and the prices are ok. Spa center is really good! We rent a car for a few days to look around the island - another 'no problem' task for the hotel reception - thank you very much.

At the time we were at Praslin, there was a lot of sea weed from this side of the island, but there is a lot of beautiful alternatives

Beautiful room and great pool area. I liked breakfast, it was really rich. I enjoyed the stay.

Wifi is very slow sometimes, it was disturbing. Also when you go to shower in "rush hour", there isn't much water. Hotel should really work on that. In regards to breakfast, which was great, the only turn off is the fact that you have to wait for the server to get some food from buffee. It wastes time and is uncomfortable how exactly you want food to be served. Also the masks. We are all eating at the same place with all these people, but when you want to take food you have to wear mask and cant touch the food. It doesn't make sense.

The beach was vast and emty. Good to play for children. No big waves. There are two big and one small pool. Small is ok for kids. Nice big steps going into the pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed at the garden room. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Everything worked well. The restaurant is ok with average amount of selection. Breakfast is great with many options that change daily. Several restaurants and take aways close by. If you stay at garden room you have to cross the road to get to the beach house/reception/beach/breakfast. There is also s nice complementary tea at 16:00. And ofcourse the tortoises.

Crossing the road was a surprise but it did not bother anymore at some point. I expected a bit more modern place. Everything is nice with little touches and looks beachy and hip but ...well. going into the sea you have to be aware of rayfish.

Breakfast was wonderful - fresh and assorted. The room was large and looked out at the sea. The location was also perfect, bus stop right outside and a close walk to the village for meals. Thivanka at reception was absolutely wonderful, she made sure my needs were met and always had a friendly smile and genuine hello.

The room was very big and the private pool was nice The location is good, very close to the airport. The staff were very nice and they accept us for an early checkout and also helped us with renting a car

The breakfast was very poor, almost no options and poor service. There was no phone in the room which required us to go over and over the 2 floors stairs in order to ask or get anything, Also we tried to contact the place for renting a car from airport and for early check in but got no response.

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is right on the beach with a great view of sunset. I had read previous reviews that the beach wasn't nice but I have to strongly disagree with this. Yes there is some seaweed on the beach but this is natural and not the hotels fault or responsibility. The staff were so helpful! They arranged transfer from the ferry port, taxis, car rental, a dinner booking and a boat trip to Curieuse island (which i'd really recommend). The room was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the beach. The cold flannel and fresh ice tea on arrival were really nice touches. The food in the restaurant in the hotel was nice and a good selection for breakfast.

We got the "candle light dinner" on a evening and the value for that was 150 EUR. Honestly, that was definetly too expensive for the content of the dinner. In general, the food is really good here, but the candle light dinner valued at 150 EUR is way too much for what is offered.
