Dinner & Breakfast were both excellent. Room was great. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I was travelling with my two very social very friendly very energetic Hungarian vizslas and the staff and the facilities were great all round for all of us.

There's a great opportunity for a hiking / running trail UP the mountain behind the property, in addition to the ones lower down (that are also mostly driveable, so are shared with vehicles coming in / out or doing game drives. A couple of the guests mentioned this. PS as a trail running event organiser I'd be more than happy to consult and help you guys with this. It would be an awesome addition to your activity list.

We always stay at Lemoenfontein when we travel through the Karoo. This time was with our friends. We all very much enjoyed our stay. Joshua's smile at arrival is always a welcome sight! After a long drive, it was nice to stretch our legs in the several paths behind the house. We were also lucky to spend some upclose time with the resident giraffes around the pool! Beautiful! We had dinner at the farmhouse, which was delicious! It is a little bit outside Beaufort West, but that's what we were looking for and it is worth the short drive!

We spent 2 nights and very much enjoyed the service provided by the entire team. Our room (#9) was comfortable and spacious, with a private terrace. Amazing views as well. Nice garden and pool area. Dinner was very good too. Driving time to Karoo NP entrance is approximately 25 minutes, with Beaufort West being 15 minutes away. It is also possible to drive a few 4x4 trails on the property, which we did not do.

After 15 years of travelling around South Africa, this was our seventh visit to this guesthouse. We were upgraded, for which we thanked. This remains the topper in Beuafort West for us. Safe parking at the lodge is a definite plus. The rooms continue to surprise. The location is fantastic. One small downside is the value for money for breakfast and dinner. These are good but certainly not surprisingly good like the accommodation itself.

This is an absolute oasis in the Karoo. Amidst the vastness and dryness of the Karoo this property is an absolute oasis. This lovely game lodge had everything to allow us to relax for a couple fo days before we carried on with our journey. The accomodation and especially the staff were professional and fantastic at their jobs. The food was excellent without any fuss, just great, really great, wholesome food presented beautifully and always with a smile.

What a lovely, homey place. So warm and welcoming. People are nice, room is good and clean with good bed. Bonuses were the short hike we did when we saw zebras, bokkies, impalas and a baboon. Tip: for a safari ride book a few days in advance. And lastly great home cooked meal. Imagine sll guests were absolute enthousiast about the carrots. Never eaten them better than here. Special recipe from grand-ma.

Overall the stay was great, I was very comfortable in my room. The rusks that were available with the coffee were great. The room suited a beautiful farm style and the bathroom included everything that would be needed for a comfortable stay.

Unfortunately there is no backup for load shedding and there is no Wi-Fi during this time, so there isn’t much else to do except swim. The water took quite a while to get hot. And even then, the pressure was minimal.

I so enjoyed my time at Lemoenfontein, and I hope to visit again soon. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was really comfortable (which is so important after a long drive). The staff were really friendly and attentive, especially Justice who made sure that the fireplace was kept on in the sitting room. I also went on a short morning walk on my own, which was a good morning activity.

What an incredibly beautiful farm! I will definitely go back and stay a weekend. The accommodation was perfect, the views are stunning. Although we were a very short time there, we had a short walk and saw springbuck, giraffes and a tortoise. Beautiful sunset ! Regte engte yummy Karoo kos! Out of this world.

Interesting location well back off the road, good views, had a good walk on paths around the lodge. Excellent dinner and breakfast with views across the Karoo plains. Safe location and safe parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were a bit dated, the shower didn't drain very well and the toilet was running. We only had a VW Polo and had to go slowly on the track up to the lodge.
