Never booking anywhere else in BW again. We liked everything. Check in process, the splash pool, the barbecue, the small touches like the bubble bath, and the whatsapp message information on where to find tea, coffee etc in the kitchen. The layout was great, kids had a blast and we only wished we could have another day of great sleep. A fantastic base to explore the rest of Beaufort West for visitors wanting to stay a few more days. The book on the history of BW was an interesting read and the owners/namesakes contribution to the sports category was not overlooked. A local supermarket delivered groceries within minutes so we didn't even have to leave, knackered and tired. Close enough to the garage to fill up fuel at night and prepare for another day of driving. The unit was immaculately clean.

There was nothing not to like, but if there was anything, it would be the parking which feels like it could be problematic when both units are booked. It was fine for us, though.

The apartment is well equipped with all the necessary amenities, super neat. Communication is perfect, clearly explained where the apartment is, as well as all relevant information. We forget our grooms men’s attire in the apartment, on the way to Cape Town. The wedding was a day later.. without many courier options, Christiaan and Bianca went above all expectations and organized the courier. The attire made it in time to Came Town! Thanks so much to both Christiaan and Bianca 🙏

I made the reservation for my son and he enjoyed his stay with Bakgat Blyplek alot. They offer an interpersonal experience. One gets to receive messages directly from the owner of the guesthouse to make the check in process smoothly. The Unit was tastefully decorated, with everything that you need, very clean, feels like home away from home. The pool was a bonus. Will definitely book there again, can highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved how clean the place was on arrival. The fact that there were braai facility attached to the apartment we rented. Oh and don't forget the pool, my kids loved it. We will definitely make this our overnight stay when we are travelling. Loved it that the rooms was equiped with Aircon as well as fans. My daughter gets extremely hot at night and the fan helped alot

Christiaan welcomed us with a bottle of wine and the sparkling clean swimming pool was a bonus in this part of the world. The place was spotlessly clean with leather sofas, the latest kitchen equipment, utensils, DTSV with all channels, a spacious dining room, and a kitchen and an air-conditioning system. Because of the Solar System the owner installed, load-shedding was not a problem at all.

What a wonderful spot. Everything was brilliant and exceeded our expectations. From secure entrance and parking, to the quality finishes, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, and well-kitted kitchen. We only stayed one night en route back to Jhb, and this was such a treat. Thanks Christiaan and Cornel... we will definitely be staying there again.

The apartment is spotless and clean with daily cleaning provided. The owner took into consideration the load shedding/blackout episodes and his accommodation boasts an invertor and gas stove. We were not even aware of any blackouts. Also the little touches like wood, firelighter, coffee,tea, milk and towels for use at the swimming pool make a big difference. Accommodation is secure with remote access. The swimming pool is enclosed and provides privacy and safety to children. A restaurant like Spur is within walking distance. A beautifully furnished apartment and comfortable bed.

It was such a shame we had to leave.

Perfect accommodation in Beaufort West. We were at a few and this one is standing out. We went through on a Sunday, with most restaurants closed in town, except for some near this apartment. It is big with plenty of space, and a swimming pool that we cooled ourselves. Security is excellent

Superbly appointed. Wonderful facilities. Very warm &helpful welcome/checkin. Voucher given for discount at local Eatery. SUCH A SHAME WE ONLY HAD ONE NIGHT!! Freshly ground coffee in the fridge for brekkie...so much appreciated! Excellent WiFi. Secure parking. Plenty of hot water. Excellent linens. We shall DEFINITELY be back to stay in advance of our next visit to Karoo NP.

The hosts were fantastic and incredibly attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in experience. The unit was elegant, fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, and provided a very pleasant and homely stay. It exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely be rebooking in the future.
