Comfortable and clean.

I liked everything about this place. Suitably located as we were on our way to Cape Town. The Place was clean with enough beds to accommodate my family.

Aircon was ON when we arraived and the room was cool

Small rooms. Quite basic.

This is my every time I drive to Jhb, overnight stop. The staff are always friendly and help with a smile. My 'routine' is to order dinner on arrival, and have it delivered to my room. The food is great, the room has always been spotlessly clean and very comfortable. What's there not to like. :-)

There is only thing that needs attention, from my last two stays. Both rooms (not the same room) I stayed in, the basin tap fittings are not securely tightened to the basin. As the taps are turned on/off, the whole fitting turns had to hold the fitting so it didn't turn. The first time it happened I was caught unaware, resulting in water on the bathroom floor.

Room was good. The dinner was nice - really big portions for the price. I had the Karoo Lamb Chops. The swimming pool was amazing! Nice loungers and ample space to swim. Lots of places to take your dog for a walk.

The aircon was leaking so it made a HUGE puddle on the floor. we had to get a bucket from the staff. Apparently its been broken for a while and management did know about it - maybe bad time of year to get it fixed.

Room was great, both times. Didn't have a meal on my return trip from Gauteng to Western Cape 24/09 - 25/09. But did have a meal on my trip from Western Cape to Gauteng. 15/09 - 16/09. Lovely food (and pudding) very kindly delivered to my room by a smiling member of staff.

The basin taps need to be tightened up. Stayed in Room 55 on my trip up to Gauteng, Cold water basin tap swings when turing on/off, resulting in water on the floor. Difficult filling a jug with water, holding it with left hand, and trying to close the tap with right hand when it is turning away from the basin. Same thing in Room 57 on my return to Western Cape, but with the Hot water tap in the basin.

The staff are friendly if you need cancel the stick to the policy of refunds which I appreciate. The beds are great and the rooms are super clean which is so nice. Plus the look from the outside is deceiving because the decor of the rooms its nice.

The only let down is the food in from the restaurant steaks were way over cooked and the salad was limp and old

Everything was perfect.... except Wifi. I usually stay going up to and return from CT to Jhb twice a year, so 4 times a year. I left my phone charger in my room, on my return trip to CT. Geraldo called to inform me. Both Geraldo and Laverne were exceptionally helpful with getting my phone charger sent to me via courier. I am ever grateful to them.

Still no wifi in the rooms... was in Room 20. Again was able to connect but with no Internet connectivity.

We love the fact that the restaurant is on site. then you can go for a quick dinner without more driving around. Also love the fact that the dogs are welcomed at this sleepover.

It would be nice if they can start looking in upgrading their reception, restaurant and bar area. Everything else looks revamped but those areas need some help.
