The property is extremely well located at Chippewa Square, Park, and within easy walking distance of many of the key sites in the historic district of Savannah. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Charles and Dee.

While it was not too difficult for me to navigate, the house is older with many staircases, and if someone is older, or perhaps, may not be as mobile, the structure of the home may be difficult for them to navigate all the stairs. There are no elevators. Negotiating the stairways with luggage was quite difficult. The continental breakfast is very basic so if you’re a big breakfast eater, you might want to supplement it later in the morning.

I love staying at the Foley Inn. It was my second time. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The ambiance, especially at Christmas was beautiful.

The first time I visited a few years ago, they offered a full breakfast and a delightful spread of cheese, pastries and wine in the afternoon. They no longer do that, and I miss that. The extras like that were what set the Foley House Inn apart from other hotels.

Our stay at Foley House was truly unforgettable. The charm and history embedded in every corner of the room made our experience uniquely special. To our surprise and delight, we were given an even better room than the one we had originally booked, and it just so happened to be the very same room that Daniel Craig and his wife had stayed in. Knowing that such a notable guest had stayed there added an extra layer of excitement to our visit. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional, from the period decor to the cozy atmosphere that radiated character and comfort. Every element seemed thoughtfully curated, making us feel as if we were stepping into a piece of Savannah’s storied past. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed great conversations that added a personal touch to our experience. The welcoming atmosphere and the heartfelt interactions we had made our stay in Savannah even more special—no small feat, considering how incredible the city is on its own. Foley House is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that enhances the beauty of Savannah. We can’t wait to come back!

such a beautiful old building! it was very fun to stay in a piece of history! the breakfast was good and the location was amazing! i was able to hit all the places i wanted to explore in savannah using the inn as a hub!

parking was a bit of hassle but thats no fault of the inn i was able to find a spot eventually and then i moved my car closer to the building once the city crowd died down :D they also have a loading zone for when you arrive so you can get all your bags and what not in your room before finding a place to park

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.

The breakfast. It was rolls and yogurt. I thought it was going to be a true breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc..

The property was a beautifully restored building with so much charm! The staff was so friendly and welcoming!! Location was exactly in the middle of everything! Making it possible to walk to any attractions or restaurants in just minutes! Foley House is exactly what you would imagine when someone says Southern Hospitality! We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to embrace the historic Savannah!

Not a thing! We had a small misunderstanding concerning payment when we checked out which they promptly fixed. I would not change a thing!

First trip to Savannah and we wanted to be close enough to walk everywhere. The location was perfect with enough restaurants and little shops nearby to keep us busy. Walked to the riverfront the first day and that was a nice leisurely walk. Metered street parking can be tricky, but it's not too costly. We sat on the balcony each night and enjoyed people watching and watching all of the ghosts tours go by (there's a story about Foley House Inn). We didn't have the breakfast either day as we were lazily enjoying sleeping in so no review there, but that means the beds must have been pretty comfy! :-)

The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, the house was beautiful and well kept. I loved dining in the living room and the location was wonderful. We were able to walk to conveniently to all of the popular shopping areas while visiting local history hot spots. We parked on the street and used the parking app which was easy not expensive.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about the inn except the bed was squeaky, the room could've used another lamp for lighting, however the room was modernized but not so much that it compromised the atmosphere.

Very beautiful inside and out. So much charm everywhere! Room was very clean and very comfortable. And I appreciated the extra locks on the inside of my door; felt very safe. Chuck, Tim, and Ms. Dee Dee were all very attentive and hospitable. And Ms. Dee Dee told me all kinds of great stories! Truly look forward to going back again sometime… and loved that I paid a little extra for the city view and the balcony. Really magical to sit outside at night and overlook the square while it rained.

While there is an ice machine, a small fridge, microwave, and/or coffee machine in the room would have been nice. Other than that, would not have changed a thing.

The property had an old and cozy feel to it. The staff was amazing- AMAZING! It was a great place to take lots of pictures. The robes were a nice touch.

The room needed a headboard, the tv was awkward in the room like an afterthought. Our bathroom didn’t have hand soap. There was a huge boxed mirror left at the entrance of our door. No fridge in the room. The outside door next to our room was unlocked. the breakfast was basic nothing spectacular. There wasn’t an afternoon reception hour as i read about. The new owners need to spend money to bring the property up to speed. Almost $200 a night there needs to be more value.
