Rooms are well-designed, hotel is in great location for transport

The room deposit is ridiculous . I can understand a room deposit, but this hotel takes 50 pounds per night upfront. So if you’re staying for 4 or 5 nights it adds up. The refund takes a while, so they have the use of your money all that time. I’m sure this is a nice little earner for the hotel. A deposit for the first night would be genuine, but I am not 4 times the risk because I am staying 4 nights. Housekeeping was a a bit amateurish.

I liked the location as it was so near to Stratford International Station which was useful for my onward journey. Also it is very near to the Westfield Shopping Centre, which has excellent independent shops, as well as high street favourites. There are excellent food halls in Waitrose and M&S as well as an Eastern food market with a wide range of places to eat. The hotel staff were lovely and I got upgraded to a suite which was great. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The breakfast choice was excellent.

I had to chase to get my room made up on the second day. It was an oversight by housekeeping but reception sorted it promptly.

- Place is very clean and new - They have quality Rituals shampoos - the slippers are so comfortable as well as the rope - On the ground floor is nice restaurant - Quick check in - Listening to customer’s requirements - New facilities - Good value for money - bed is amazing

- They take deposit per nights for stay which is not usual practice (at least in hotels where I used to stay), and is not stated like that in their booking informations(it says only 50£). So if you’re staying for example 7 nights, be ready to have ‘locked’ 350 £. Which will be returned to you 3-4 days after check out, but seems more like a bank move rather than hotel. - if you are accommodated on lower floors you can hear train from underground - there is some room for improvement (shower kit, sewing kit, complimentary water..)

Fantastic hotel. Bed is so comfortable. Its right infront of stratford international Station so very accessible. The Westfield mall is a 30 second walk. Room is lush and luxurious. Loved it

Nothing bad. The bathroom smelled a little moldlt although it didnt have mold. Lush bathroom.

Good hotel, value for money for London area, close to the Westfield mall with several restaurant options and shops! Very clean room, the maid were amazing, truly excellent cleaning.

Waitress lied regarding happy hour oysters, told me they didn’t have anymore oysters but an hour later, after the happy hour passed, there was a couple eating oysters in the restaurant, of course I asked and they told me they have had a reservation (who’s making reservations and says I will need a dozen oysters?, nobody asked me upon my reservation). Another tiny issue was with the ladies in the reception, very cold, some of them borderline rude. The rest of the staff was amazing.

I stayed in a beautiful deluxe suite and I am so glad that I did. The room itself was absolutely incredible, with the bed being probably the most comfortable one I have stayed in in a while! The staff were really attentive, kind and approachable, any questions I had were answered swiftly. I had very good room service where the food was exquisite. The floor to ceiling windows were a very nice touch and I enjoyed watching the East London bustle go up and down throughout the day. The bathroom was outstanding. The bathtub was luxurious and the shower was perfect too.

The only criticism I have is that there should be more apps available on the TV. I forgot my HDMI cable so I wasn't able to use my laptop either. But I was able to sign into YouTube.

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. I read some reviews on here that the staff were rude and that's definitely NOT the case with the staff we encountered. Breakfast was lovely, great selection and lots to choose from. Location was fab and Stratford International is literally at the front door. 6 minutes on a train and you are at St Pancras. Westfield shopping centre is right next door. Hotel design is modern and clean.

The only downside for us was the noise from the DJ that played on the Friday and Saturday night. The music finishes between 12:30am and 1:00am. We were told if they have an event on the music doesn't stop until 2am. We were on the 2nd floor and it was loud. We had come for a relaxing, chilled weekend and were kept awake by the music. If you're going to be out until late or you'll be joining in at the bar downstairs then the music won't bother you but if you're going for a relaxing trip then just bear in mind the late night music on a Friday and Saturday night.

Great location for Abba Arena. Room spotless, bed so comfortable. Loved the walk in shower. Nice choice of breakfast, either hot or cold. Nice bar area and plenty of seating.

Can't understand why you have to pay a service charge at the bar when you haven't used the waiter service and gone to the bar yourself. Would have liked complimentary water in the room. Quite misleading when they leave a chocolate bar, crisps and a small bottle of wine with 2 glasses etc on display but it is actually chargeable. Lighting could have been better in the room. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly apart from a lady in the restaurant on the Saturday morning who struggled to smile.

We liked the bar, and the overall look of the hotel. The beds were comfy and the room was clean.

We didn’t like the spring poking through the mattress if the rollaway bed we paid £40 for per night. It was very hard to sleep on it. We also were confused with the way the room is arranged. Weird cupboards that are hard to open, and no little extras like tissues or a luggage rack. The beds were sold as queen beds, but they were small doubles at most. Impossible for two friends to share one of them, hence the rollaway bed. We were also confused with the lack of dress code with your reception staff. Some of them looked like they’d just rolled in from a day out - bare midriff, bobbled clothes. Most disconcerting. Not what you expect when you pay a lot for a ‘smart’ hotel. The breakfast also wasn’t great either.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great, easily accessible to transit and near a mall as well. They were also able to check us in earlier, which we were grateful for. We were also pleasantly surprised with dessert and a lovely note for my daughter in our room as she recently graduated. This was unexpected and very thoughtful of the staff. It was a nice touch to make our stay feel special. I would highly recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
