Really cozy place with a love for small details, comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast option comes with a great price, even homemade scones are there. Besides, even without breakfast there is coffee. Quiet spot a bit outside the village center, about 10 minutes of walking and youâre there.
If you live downstairs, you will hear the upstairs neighbours quite loudly, wooden floors are unforgiving here. Doors are also not really soundproof, so a loudly coughing neighbour kept us awake for quite some time.

What can I say about this gorgeous little place Andy has created in Portmagee. It is cozy, comfortable, inviting and just picture perfect. Andy has done an amazing job with his B&B from the moment you are greeted at the door till the time you leave it is home. Andy was an absolute gem and even did my laundry for me at a small fee it was washed, dried and folded neatly and put back in my laundry bag ready for me the next morning. Breakfast was lovely and the atmosphere of the Seagull Cottage is so like home. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Do yourself a favour and stay at Seagull Cottage cause you will not regret it. I loved my stay, and Andy even listened to my griping of the not so good drivers that get around Ireland. You are a gem Andy thanks again for my amazing stay â€ïž everything is just so cozy and comfy well done it's a credit to youđđ»đđ
Absolutely nothing it was perfect đ„°

Absolutely fantastic stay at Seagull Cottage B&B in Portmagee! We arrived a day before our trip to Skellig Michael and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to leave our car in their yard while we were on the trip, despite having checked out early in the morning. The room was impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We were especially delighted by a personalized stone with my name and a short message in the room, a truly heartwarming touch. The surroundings were beautiful. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

This is a modern, clean and well presented B&B. The room and ensuite facilities were clean and fresh. We chose to pay the owner direct for breakfast - much cheaper than buying it through booking.com. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Based upon the price we paid it represented good value for money. The location just out of town is fine - close enough to town but away from any potential noise. Seagull Cottage sits in close proximity to many tourist attractions, hence our 2-night stay here. In fact there is enough to do to have stayed 3 nights. Kerry Cliffs, Valentia Island and all of its offerings, boat trips to the Skelligs, the Skellig experience, St Finians Bay, Skellig Chocolate are all nearby.
Whilst tea/coffee was readily available in the dining room, we would have liked the facilities in our room.

The property was newly remodeled and itâs minimalistic decor made it bright and cheery. The breakfast was the best of the B&Bs we stayed at - many options, homemade treats, and individual French press coffee. So many thoughtful details throughout. We were road weary and thought the walk into town would be hard but it was pleasant and only 10-15 minutes. There were cows and sheep grazing, a stream, and lots of wildflowers. We had the best night's sleep of any of the B&Bs. The layout has the guest rooms on the first floor so we don't even know if there was air conditioning because having the windows open in early June was pleasant and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

This property was just what we needed after long days on our Ireland road trip. We booked two rooms - one of which had an accessible bathroom that was perfect for my daughter in a wheelchair. They have thought of everything in this regard which was much appreciated. We loved chatting to our hosts and could have easily spent days here. The place is easy to find and Portmagee is a short drive away (nice pub with good food!). The area is absolutely beautiful.
Nothing - if you need a bnb in this area donât hesitate to book

Very peaceful⊠we absolutely loved it! It was so nice to come back to our room at the end of some very busy (& fun!) days. Our room was done in shades of white, dark blue and slate with clean lines. Calm and cozyâŠperfect for tired travelers. The homemade scones along with a nice selection of continental breakfast choices were wonderful every morning as well. Our hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely come backâŠit was just what we needed. Definitely book!

We arrived at Seagull Cottage B&B right at check-in time and confirmed we were only minutes from the Kerry Cliffs. At check-in we were quite taken to see their welcome basket which included a piece of slate personalized with my name. After settling into our room, we took off for the cliffs, which were spectacular in the evening. The host gave us detailed insight into nearby Portmagee restaurants as well as parking for our scheduled early boat to Skellig Island. He also ensured we could assemble an early morning âbrown bagâ breakfast for our expedition (ahh the scones!). We very much recommend the Seagull Cottage B&B as your base of operations for exploring the Kerry and Skellig regions of Ireland.
Everything was good! Nothing bad.

This is great property a short drive from Portmagee. It was clean and airy and ample parking off street in a very quiet area. Our hosts were from Germany with a soft spot for Australia, which we loved. We found them to be helpful and informative. Breakfast was continental, which we found to be more than enough. There are dining options in Portmagee, but it pays to book ahead, especially during peak times. We liked the welcome message in our room. It was painted on a piece of slate! We would stay there again if the opportunity arose
Only a minor point, but I would have rearranged the furniture in our room to give some room between the side of the bed and the wall. There wasn't a lot of soundproofing in the walls, so noise from other guests was noticeable at times.

Nice quiet place to stay. I felt very welcomed with a personal greeting written on a rock in our room. They were gracious enough to allow us to check in early. Liked the color scheme of the room. Plenty of electrical plugs. Good lighting. Easy check in. Good bed. Good breakfast with lots of options including homemade scones and homemade granola bars.
Shower had no water pressure. Could hear the owners walking overhead at night. For some reason the plug by mirror kept tripping my hair dryer so I had to use a different one that wasnât by a mirror (first world problem đ)
