Great location. Nice and quiet, older-ish guests - no mad party vibes and not many kids, two pools, plenty of sun loungers at the pools. Lovely Balinese gardens. Comfortable bed, cold air con, natural light in the bathroom. Restaurant has lovely view of the ocean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great coffee at Cafe Magnum, just around the corner. Good value for money (~$120/night AUD)

The rubbish was in the alley below the entrance to my room - didn’t smell great for the minute it took to access the room - couldn’t smell it in the room or from the balcony that faces into the garden.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful gardens and comfortable, clean, renovated rooms. We enjoyed the quiet gardens and clean pool area. The breakfast is good, the staff extremely attentive and friendly and you enjoy breakfast overlooking the beach.

Whilst there are signs asking smokers to be respectful, it is time to ban smoking in restaurant, poolside and in the pool. It is very unpleasant to swim or sit at the swim up bar amongst smokers and unpleasant sitting on the lovely pool loungers amongst cigarette smoke.

Great hotel. It’s proper Bali. Two pools. One with swim up bar. Other with pergola bar. Breakfast included in raised open air restaurant where you can watch the waves on the beach Rooms have been refurbished. Decent sized bedroom and bathroom. Patient or balcony with twin settee out front. The managers and staff are superb. Most people at the hotel have been going for years - because it’s good The breakfast is first class and is included. Other meals are good and are well priced. We’ve tried other hotels. Some far bigger and more expensive but we keep coming back to Puri Raja

The room was a good size, bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Shower pressure adequate and plenty of hot water. Pool areas both lovely and beautiful gardens. Very friendly staff.

The only thing was the towels all smelled of tobacco and smoke. This was rectified straight away by housekeeping who swapped them all over.

We loved our stay at Puri Raga the restaurant is beachfront and breakfast is made to order. We stayed in the Super delux room which was refurbished during Covid as were most of the other rooms and the pool areas. The gardens have also been well maintained and are one of the things I love about this hotel. It was our 5th stay and it was soo good the see a lot of the same staff. I used the Spa for a massage and a facial and would recommend anyone staying to give it a go. We would most definitely stay here again.

We loved the hotel, it was so full of character, clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location was amazing, close to restaurants and shopping. The staff were lovely, always smiling and saying hello. Breakfast was great with a fab outlook to the beach. Both pools were well kept, and we always got a sunbed.

The hotel massage spa and beauty salon weren't that fantastic, and we found the prices and quality of food for dinner in the hotel restaurant were expensive and didn't compare to others that we went to.

Great location, lots of restaurants and cafes near by . Staff were really friendly , always happy to help out and cheeful :) Rooms were great ! We had a ground floor room as requested ! Set amongst beautiful gardens Pools were really clean , preferred the pool close to lobby as it wasn’t as busy ! Great pool side service and drinks and food reasonably priced B Overall very enjoyable stay The area is very busy so if you want a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle probably not ideal ! Rooms were very quiet and beds very comfortable, which is rear in Bali Breakfast was good ! Made to order each morning :)

There were no non smoking rooms.

The staff, location, food, gardens, beds, and rooms were exceptional. My family of 4 stayed in one of the interconnecting rooms midway between the hotel check-in lobby area (shop side) and hotel restaurant area (beach side). We watched the waves of the beach every morning and every night as we ate our meals. Pool side and room service excellent also inc drinks ordered. We made friends with the beautiful staff at this hotel who will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Indri, Trisna, Ayou (restaurant service), Samadi (bar tender lobby side) - just to name a few of the beautiful people at this hotel. My family loved the à la carte breakfast and dinner, which we paid for as part of our package (half-board). If you do stay here, just remember to put a towel on the bathroom floor because the water from the shower can make a mess on the floor (no shower screen or curtain to stop water) otherwise no big deal. Nice bathrooms and shower screens may spoil the look. Great Balinese feel to this hotel and beds were the best I have ever slept on. Do cozy! My daughter was in tears when we had to leave after we took pictures with the staff and said our farewells. We will stay here again for sure. Highly recommended.
