The room was very nice and comfortable. It was perfect for a solo traveler. I liked the room’s colors and vibe. It’s also great that this hotel was in the center of Aix-en-Provence and within 5-10 minute walking distance to la Vieille Ville of Aix. There were many restaurants nearby and cafés that were great. Loved the view from the hotel window!! I was on the troisième étage and the view was wonderful, especially for the inexpensive price. The breakfast was great. It was 15€ but worth it and so delicious. I stayed in Aix for one night and had a great time.

While it is great that the location is close to the old town and the centre, I felt uneasy at night in this location. There’s a bus stop near the hotel where it could be a little scary at night. There were also groups of men behind the property in the other hotel at around 11:30 PM - midnight and they were loud so I was bit nervous, especially since the gate of the hotel doesn’t lock and require a code until midnight, so anyone could just walk into the hotel if they wanted to. Overall, if the security could be improved that would make the stay here better. This was a great stay and the staff went over and beyond to make my stay nice.

The hotel was extremely well located for getting to the venue location for my business trip. It was also well located for accessing the centre of Aix en Provence and I felt perfectly safe navigating on foot between the hotel and the many restaurants for dinner in the evening. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the cost of the two night stay was extremely competitive. The room was small but very well equipped and clean. The room was sold as a small room so I knew what I was getting beforehand. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice was on offer. The hotel was quiet at night so a peaceful sleep was enjoyed. Check-in and check-out was straightforward and all-in-all I enjoyed my stay.

The only thing I didn't like was thee short flight of steps from the street door to reception with my cases, but there were lifts to the other floors from there.

We had a superior room. The room was located around a patio behind the main building, and as such shielded from the street noise. Also made the room easily accessible. The same for the garage which was within reach from our room. The location was easily reachable by car, also on foot the city centre was very close, like 10 minutes walk. We enjoyed the comfortable room, excellent bedding, nice bathroom, airco and the silence at night. Do ask at the reception to price an additional night and compare.

Breakfast was at best 'normal', with a 'normal' price but it did not convince somehow. For our second and third night we did not take breakfast anymore at the hotel but went into the city to have a coffee with a little something.

This is a lovely hotel and it's the second time I've stayed here because of it's perfect location just outside the old town and close to the university where my son is studying for a term. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would recommend staying in the main building on the third floor as you get a lovely view over the rooftops. The rooms are small but very cosy and there's good wardrobe space. Traffic is busy in the morning but the balcony doors are well insulated. We didn't have breakfast here as tended to go into town and have a coffee and croissant on one of the squares, but you can have breakfast in the small hotel cafe area.

The location was good, the room was nice and clean.

They lock the main door at night and they don't give you a key for it, but a piece of paper that you can easily lose or forget. Better take a photo of it or something... Maybe they could send you the code in booking or by email, it's not a common practice to have such a thing and people can easily forget about it. The parking entrance was a little hard to notice in the busy traffic, more instructions in booking can be helpful.

We were surprised the room was so spacious. Bed comfortable. We were there during an unusual heatwave for April but the air conditioning worked perfectly. Bathroom nicely decorated and very clean. Shower easy to use. Our room was round the back so mostly quiet all night. Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient for everything we wanted to see in beautiful Aix en Provence. Very good value for the money.

No complaints about the room or hotel.

Wonderful hotel with a great location right next to the old town. Next to the hotel there is a supermarket and many restaurants. The hotel has covered parking. We didn't use the breakfast and can't rate it. The room was very clean and cozy, had a balcony with a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful, including taking our luggage down as the lift was not working.

location was fantastic! so glad we decided to stay here instead of inside the city centre. it’s only a very short walk and there are lots of shops and places to eat across the street. it’s quiet and there’s lots of outdoor tables and chairs to relax or eat which is great for the little ones who don’t like being stuck inside a room.

like many places in France the building was old but also somewhat charming. the courtyard in our room had a broken glass panel which could have been very dangerous if it completely shattered if touched or bumped. breakfast was average. would recommend just going across the street to eat at a nicer place.

Pleasant room with a wee fridge which was a plus. Lots of sitting places in the common areas outdoors with lounges or table/chairs. Surprisingly quiet. Property is an easy walk from station 🚉 We caught an Uber to Terre Ugo,a lavender field very close town.

We had a small separate w.c. To bathroom but it was hard to shut the door without knocking your knees! Can’t have everything I guess…

Room was a very good size (room number 100) and it had a lovely balcony. The location was perfect - just across the road from the "historic centre". I didn't have a car.

The room was quite hot - I had to turn the radiator off and put the air-con on and it is February! The curtains could have been a little heavier - it was quite bright in the morning. The bathroom needed a little up-dating. If you like a bath it was pretty small (I am a size 12/14 woman) and the shower was missing the lever to change from tap to shower - but everything worked and there were plenty of towels. There could have been more coffee sachets in the room and possibly some long life milk. I ended up buying some coffee in the supermarket below. I didn't use the mini-bar but maybe 2 small bottles of wine would be a nice touch and some biscuits?
