Lovely small hotel down a quiet but central street. Room was spacious and clean and smelt gorgeous, with a Juliette balcony and an enclosed balcony. We had a side sea view, which was a pleasant surprise. You can't drink the tap water and so free water was left in the room each day. The room had a large, comfy bed, and we slept brilliantly. There was a good continental breakfast that kept us going, and complimentary drinks and cakes are available in the evening for a couple of hours. Staff were lovely. We would definitely recommend 19 Rooms and would stay again if back in Valetta.

Only very small things to mention here, but tea making facilities in the room would have been good. Although you can help yourself to tea and coffee in reception,you don't really want to be wandering around the hotel in your pyjamas. Also, an ironing board and iron in the room would have been helpful. We called down for them and had a 45 min wait. It was also a shame the roof terrace was closed whilst we were there, despite the weather being nice.

Location was ideal, easy access to bars , shops and restaurants. However the city of Valetta has a lot of steep streets and steps to climb everywhere you go so would be a challenge for someone with mobility problems. The duplex apartment was beautifully furnished and decorated and bigger than I had expected, with a side sea view. Again it is probably not the best choice for anyone who struggles with stairs as they are steep in the apartment from the lounge to the bedroom and in the bedroom itself there are additional stairs to the toliet and shower. The duplex had it's own front door and was self contained but no lift if you need it. It is probably better to book a room with lift access if you need this. The staff were very friendly and helpful and replenished our drinking water on demand. The breakfast was plentiful, great quality and lots of choice from the cold buffet but no hot breakfast available.

We could not get parked anywhere near the hotel with our hire car and drove around for 45 minutes searching for a space and then had to walk a mile and a half from our parking space to the hotel. I must stress that this is not the fault of the hotel. 19 Rooms situation in the old town does not permit it to have it's own car park. In addition parking in Valette is a challenge for everyone, locals and visitors alike. Consider using taxis or public transport in Valetta or be prepared to spend a lot of time looking for a parking space.

A beautiful boutique hotel in an ideal location for sightseeing in Valletta. It was in a lovely quiet street but still very close to the buzz of the old town and the ferry points. The room and bathroom were both huge and we loved the traditional balcony features. The staff were so friendly and helpful and recommended some great restaurants and trips. The roof area which opened for evening drinks was amazing too. Breakfast was great and the tea and coffee facilities and late afternoon treats were a lovely touch. The room mini bar selection was great and very reasonably priced too.

The location is only a few minutes away from the centre of Valletta. I enjoyed having a speaker in the room to enjoy some music while getting ready or relaxing after long days of exploring Malta. In the evening, you can use the rooftop and enjoy a free drink while watching the sunset. Additionally there is a coffee machine and tea available 24/7. I'm not a fan of hotel breakfasts but there were quite a few different options. The staff were nice, polite and attentive.

The rooms are rather small and the bathroom is only separated by a thin glass.

The hotel and facilities were excellent, the staff were incredibly helpful with my little foibles, non dairy milk etc and pointing out the quickest way to get places of interest, they very helpfully booked my taxi for the airport at an early hour too. I liked the fact that it wasn't too central, but still close enough to the centre, as I enjoyed wandering around discovering little streets and alleys to wander down. I'd definitely stay there again when I'm in Valletta again.

The only extra I would have liked in the room would be either a coffee machine or a kettle as I like to have a drink while getting ready to go out. There was a coffee machine near the kitchen, but it would have been nice to have one in the room.

New and functional boutique hotel, but with the flair of an old building in Valletta. Very clean rooms, excellent beds, we even got an upgrade. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace for watching the boats in the harbour and the sunset. In the later afternoon, there were free wine, beer and soft drinks available with cake. Took them up on the roof and thoroughly enjoyed the view. Continental breakfast with wide variety of food. Very friendly staff. Close to the outer ring road just 5 mins walk down to the swimming place below the city walls.

Can’t really find anything negative. One of the best hotel experiences I ever had in the past 30 years.

Excellent. Excellent, Excellent hotel. The staff especially Ruby and Monica) were very friendly, sincere, and helpful. The room was very spacious especially for being in an old building. The hotel itself is very well updated and modernized and extremely clean. The hotel provided a good breakfast and hot beverages throughout the day. Location was excellent in that it was on the quiet part of Valletta but only 7 minute walk to the shops and restaurants.

It was in a lovely location We had a bonus friend in the opposite building - talking parrot that made us smile each day Very friendly staff Love that you can have coffee and tea all day , also they supply filtered water ; cakes available during lunch hour.

Construction was taking place not far from hotel so quite noisy Another thing is that body wash was empty in the bathroom. And after cleaners came in to clean the room - it was still not topped up. Would recommend the hotel staff to check that shampoos and body wash is always full.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. We managed to upgrade to the duplex suite and it was superb. So much space and a fantastic character property. Massive bed and all the great utilities needed. The staff at reception were so friendly and welcoming and they let us check in early which was amazing. We had spent time in Valletta the previous week and the location was great. By everything but quiet and right by the ocean. The drinks that are supplied to have in the evening on the roof terrace were amazing. Such a nice touch.

Nothing much. Coffee supplies in the suites would be good as we have a separate entrance but available from a station 24hours a day in the main reception.

location was great, easy walk to everything locally including ferries. the breakfast was very abundant and great selection, amazing staff to assist with any requests. the premium suite we stayed in was newly renovated and huge, the air-conditioning worked very well, huge bathroom and bed very comfortable would have like pillows too be firmer, too soft for our liking. 2 bottles of fresh water provided every day highly recommend and would stay again room 108.
