Casa Rocca Piccola is really a special property. Pre stay communication was great. Arriving at the property is amazing moment... it is a museum, no doubt about it.... you are overvelmed with all the beauty and details of the house. Room is so lovely, attention to details. Highlight of the stay is a personalized tour provided by the owner the next morning after the delicious breakfast which is served in the patio. Atmosphere is so relaxing... The tour is so intriguing, humorous, interesting... you will love it... will not tell you everything, will not go into details, will not spoil it for you... you should come and experience it yourself... evwry tuesday, thursday and saturday... you will be amazed. Bed is sooo comfortable, sheets so smooth and nice

At arrival to the room was surprised that there is no TV which is, in my case used mostly to produce background noise... did not miss it at all, was glad it was not there, actually

The accommodation went above and beyond my expectations. The decor and the courtyard made it easily the most memorable accommodation I have ever stayed in, given also the opportunity of B&B hosts to have a private tour of Casa Rocca Piccola. Despite the antique charm of the rooms, the bathroom is modern and spacious, making the room (in my case, the Elephant Room) very comfortable also for longer stays. The owners and the staff are hospitable, kind and committed to ensure a wonderful stay for their hosts, also accommodating for dietary requirements (gluten free breakfast) and other special requests (late check-in). Perfect position in the city centre.

On a minor note: while the air conditioning works very well, light sleepers may find it to be noisy throughout the night.

Rocco Piccolo is a unique bed and breakfast in downtown Valletta, Malta. A museum downstairs with five upstairs rooms, it is an ideal place to centralize your vacation stay. Spacious rooms and bath, outstanding breakfasts (including freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and excellent choices of coffee and tea.) Staff are friendly and provide great service. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to all downtown sites. The museum tour is a special treat—filled with enriched history and interesting stories! We recently spent 5 days/nights there, and on a scale of 1 to 10, it is clearly an 11!!

Casa Rocca Piccola was a wonderful place to stay in Valletta. All the staff was very welcoming and happy to help. The location was excellent, fairly central in the city, although you can't really be too far from anything. They offered a free tour of the house with you stay which we unfortunately did not have time to partake in. Guests also receive 10% off at the neighboring Italian restaurant which was absolutely delicious. We left very early for our flight the day we left and they even made us up a to go breakfast bag which was just above and beyond. The rooms were unique and well updated despite retaining their historic charm. I would absolutely recommend Casa Rocca Piccola to anyone coming to Valletta, and sincerely hope we get the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Soooooo happy we stayed at this beautiful and historical B&B. The staff were all lovely and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms were exquisite! So elegant, charming and inviting. Loved each and every day of our stay there. The history of this hotel absolutely blew our minds. We did the guided tour on our last day and will treasure even more so, our time there. Its location was minutes away from the town center, yet so very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, out in the beautiful courtyard. Please do not go past booking this place to stay…you will forever treasure your time there. We hope to come back to Valletta and this will be our home away from home. Thank you to all the staff and beautiful owners of Casa Rocca Piccola!

Where to start!! The property, rooms, museum, location, staff are ALL amazing. It's in an ideal location. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Our room 'the pineapple room' was amazing. You will never stay anywere like this.....its an amazing experience. Room was extremley comfortable and we felt very 'at home'. The tea/coffee/drinking water facilities in your room are very generous. The tour of the museum is just wonderful. There is nothing we could mark down on....its a 10/10. Valletta is a magical city, the history, the architecture, the people and the general feel of the place is just lovely. Just book it and have a wonderful time.

The accommodation at Casa Rocca Piccola is second to none. On walking into the building we felt very special to be allowed into this living museum without being chaperoned, but to be granted unlimited access to the majority of the palace was an immense privilege. The private tour by the Marquis, who is himself a Knight, was a highlight where we were taken on a personal tour of the Marquis's family home, an experience only available to guests, learning the history of the house, the vast array of artefacts and historically important artwork within, together with many family anecdotes and humorous stories which served to bring history to life. The staff were all extremely accommodating, very friendly and knowledgeable, and while the premises are only listed as a B&B because of the nature of the building, this belies the quality of the experience. Indeed, we visited the 5* Phoenicia Hotel in Malta for dinner and, while it was luxurious and the hotel had all the facilities a 5* hotel is expected to have, we felt that this was a very different luxury experience when compared to being part of the living history of Malta within Casa Rocca Piccola. To have our own front door key to the palace, with the ability to come and go as we pleased, was such a superb experience and we will most definitely stay here the next time we visit Malta. For discerning mature guests who enjoy quality, unique experiences, history, and museums, Casa Rocca Piccola is the perfect experience.

There was nothing I didn't like about Casa Rocca Piccola. The genuinely warm welcome from the Marchioness, the friendly staff, the room, the comfortable bed, the unlimited breakfast, Kiku the parrot, the central location just far enough from the hustle and bustle but still being central to everything in Valetta, the personal tour by the Marquis of his family home, everything was just right. I wouldn't change a thing.

A truly unique piece of history and a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff who made us feel like royalty throughout our stay. We were in the Clock Room, which was just lovely. Every detail thoughtfully prepared. For a 400+ year old palace, the renovations were wonderfully done, maintaining the true character of the palace while adding modern conveniences like electrical ports by the bed, a huge and modern shower, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was a buffet in the beautiful garden every morning, with freshly made coffee and orange juice on request. The best part, however, was the private palace tour, given by the Marquis Nicolas de Piro who lives in the palace and was so open about his remarkable home, his family, and incredible stories of the history of the place and his life. We were honoured to be guests at Casa Rocca Piccola, and it's not an exaggeration to say that it completely made our trip to Malta. 12/10!

The B&B we stayed at is more than just a place to sleep; it's an experience you can't buy at any other accommodation. The museum, the staff, the perfect breakfast, cleanliness, and service are just a few reasons why I would come back to this place over and over again. Along with the stay, you also get a free visit to the museum, since like I said, this B&B is a part of a palace. I was so impressed that I toured the museum twice. A big thank you to Marta and the rest of the staff, who selflessly attended to our every request.

The location was excellent, right around the corner from Republic Street, a long walking street with shops and restaurants. The staff taking care of us in administration and breakfast were wonderful. We enjoyed fresh croissants and pain au chocolat (chocolate croissants), nice cheeses and meats, eggs and other items. The courtyard where we had breakfast was such a peaceful and pleasant place made even more enjoyable by the resident parrot and turtles. The whole place is kept immaculately clean and in good condition. Having the opportunity to tour the house with the marquis, a descendant of the family who has owned the residence for generations, was a tremendous experience. We really enjoyed his stories and wit, and how he brought the palace history to life.

We loved it all.
