The staff couldn’t have been more helpful! The place is an upgrade on a pilgrims hostel. I booked a single bed and was alone in a room with two beds with a view of the cathedral. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom was spotless. There was a microwave to use. Staff was fantastic! It even has a Michelin restaurant next door- if that’s not your thing there’s a small supermarket a few doors down. The building itself sort of looks like a 1970’s office tower.

Walls are paper thin. Could hear coughing and conversations in the next room but for 14 euros with an amazing view of the cathedral you can’t really complain.

Just 5 mins walk from the cathedral. External rooms had decent views. Bedding brand new in one of our rooms, and very clean in all the rest. Lovely fluffy white towels changed daily. Incredibly cheap! Superb Cafe (Tertulia) just over the road for breakfast...

Internal room, was a bit depressing- but plenty of fresh air from window to central light well. Unfortunately noise carried from other rooms with their windows open onto this space.

I arrived and the view of the Cathedral from my bedroom window took my breath away. After a slightly funny start, after I arrived 25 minutes late for check in, and the concierge sounded like he might not be able to come back to the hotel and check me in, except for the fact a guest had let me into the hotel so when he realised that he said he would be 5 minutes, and was, the concierge was absolutely kind and courteous and super helpful. When he saw me limping he carried my bag to the third floor. Everywhere felt very clean. A wonderful cafe for breakfast/lunch with vegan options, just turn left at hotel front door and cross at the zebra crossing.

The perfume of the cleaning product is so strong I had to leave both windows wide open to breathe.

Awesome location, great view on the catedral, bathroom always clean, guy at the reception was nice and offered me to leave my bag there after check out so I wouldn't have to carry them with me that day (which I didn't need but still nice)

There isn't any kitchen, only kettle and microwave.

The hospitalerio was very efficient, & helpful, booked our taxi pick up for early the next morning. Even though the room looks a bit dated, it was very clean.......and the view......I would pay a lot of.money in the UK for a room overlooking St Paul's Cathedral

No dislikes, but as i said the room was a bit dated, but after a week of municipal albergues, it was a little luxury

Great location. 3 minutes walk to the cathedral. It’s good for the money we paid. The host is very helpful. Room was warm, and it was important for us as we were soaking wet walking under rain. Our host was so kind to provide a cattle that we could drink tea.

A pillow wasn’t comfortable for me. It’s too thick. But my friends didn’t notice it. I prefer to use a duvet cover than a sheet and it would be wonderful to have a cattle in a room as I believe many people like having tea before to go to bed, as specially in rainy, cold days we spent in Santiago.

Location was convenient. Not in the tourist section but not far from the cathedral and park. Comfy beds, pillows, view of cathedral, fluffy towels, hospitality service, helped me get taxi booked for airport, large window with great breeze at night, quiet off street.

Had a strong deodorizer in hall that triggered allergies for me but when I messaged and asked if it could be removed, the did so promptly, and all was better. The hall smelled better without it anyway.

Good location, less than 10 minutes stroll (partly uphill) to the Cathedral. And for those leaving Santiago for Fisterra, the hostel is almost right on the Camino. Helpful, available, and friendly staff. Spacious and clean (shared) bathroom. Reasonable size room with good lighting, bedding, and towels.

Be aware that the rooms are on the second (and higher) floor with no lift (this is made clear beforehand). My room had a window that looked into an interior space; not unusual but not great. I don't know about the other reviews that mention "great views" but certainly not from the room I had!

Comfortable bright, airy room with a gorgeous view of the garden in a great central location. Close to lots of bars, restaurants and sites where everything is walkable. The bus station is also walkable.

The hosts could have been a little more responsive over messaging but they were friendly and helpful upon arrival.

The view from the room is exactly at the cathedral and the staff was nice and helpful even if we arrived a bit after 20.00 for check in . I would recommend this place definitely

In the room was extremely hot even with the fan working on maximum, could barely sleep even with the windows open on the first night. Second night was fine with windows open because was cooler outside
