I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Haverkist in Den Bosch for two nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped by a sense of warmth and hospitality that can only come from a family-run establishment like this one. Every detail of my stay was thoughtful, and I couldn't have felt more at home. The nights were especially memorable—there was an undeniable energy in the air that made the entire experience come alive in ways I hadn't expected. It's rare to find a hotel where the atmosphere feels so personal and electrifying. The balance of comfort and excitement was just perfect, and it was clear that this is a place where passion for hospitality runs deep. Hotel Haverkist is a gem in every sense, and I can't recommend it highly enough. My gratitude to everyone who made my stay so special, creating such a vibrant and invigorating haven.

The location was perfect. The corner hotel is close to the train station, the free hop on/hop off city bus, Jan De Groot lunch/bakery, the canal tour, a grocery store, multiple delightful dining options in a wide price range, and the market square. The building is delightfully old, with some interior exposed brick for atmosphere, but the interior renovation is sleek and modern. While there is no lift, the stairs are carpeted and there was no sound bleed from the corridor or street into our third floor room. The room had wonderful skylights with automated shades and a great heating/cooling ventilation system. The door had a helpful tone to remind us to close the latch securely and all electronics worked seamlessly. The beds were super comfy, too. There is a small lounge on the first floor with tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. In the lounge, a helpful giant wall map of Den Bosch and a board posting restaurants, sights, etc. made planning our day easy. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel so can not comment on that, but it is offered. We do not speak Dutch but the enthusiastic and charismatic staff are fluent in English and were eager to make our stay comfortable. The hotel sits above a convivial wine bar so there is lots of social energy buzzing around (but again, not into our sleeping space!).

Very central location above a cafe and it was mostly quiet. Room is a bit spartan but the bathroom was enormous with good shower. It was very hot during our stay so it was useful to have air-conditioning.

The entrance wasn't very clear, you actually have to go to the bar inside the cafe to find somebody who will check you in. There were supposed to be coffee facilities but somebody had forgotten to clean the machine and it wasn't working.

The location was perfect-right in the middle of the town, and near our relatives apartment. We enjoyed the cafes and bars in and around the hotel. There was coffee and tea available 24/7, which was nice. Room overlooked the town and the weather was so good, we were able to open the windows on a few of the days. There was a safe in the room, which was handy for our passports.

We cannot think of anything we did not like.

Spacious room. Modern interior. Amazing location. Extremely nice staff. Was given a little tour through the floors and room. I'd say the shared kitchen area is a very nice touch to encourage interaction with other hotel guests.

Bathroom was comparatively narrow/small with very little space to put toiletries. Sink had a spot that could have been cleaned better. The room was next to the staircase, which was a bit noisy. I woke up in the night because I heard guests use the stairs during the night.

Great location if you like pubs, We do, and the best one was just next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage is a short walk away, but you need to book in advance. If you can't climb stairs you will need to look elsewhere. The hotel is well sound insulated,no problems with street noise.

On departure we were told that the garage door was open, when we got there it was locked. A quick phone call had it open.

Small hotel above a bar, run by really helpful and friendly people. Simple, spacious room with big windows and lots of light. Nicely appointed bathroom with good shower. Comfy bed, on the firm side which is what I like. Very good wifi. Smart TV that allowed me to log in to Netflix. It's well positioned in an old district with lots of bars, mid way between the rail station and the marketplace and a very short walk from either. Despite being above a bar and with others around I had no noise problems - the windows are good at blocking sound, and air con means no need to have them open in summer. Admittedly I was staying on a Monday night so there was probably little noise anyway. One nice touch is that the double bed has two duvets on it, so couples can have separate duvets if they prefer, and solo travellers have the choice of double warmth!

Can't think of much. No tea/coffee in the room, for those who want that - but free (and probably better) tea and coffee available in a communal kitchen area on the first floor. Not the cheapest, but not bad value.

Great location, Room was fantastic and very large for a standard room. Very clean and a fantastic shower. Beds where very comfy. Staying again the 29th of October for our wedding. For that occasion we booked a superior room. We cant wait.

They had a problem with the drains in the bar area down stairs. But things like that happen and the staff was very apologitic. This was out of their control . Still would give them 10 out of 10

Excellent location - car parking available close by, if needed, at extra cost. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Bathroom facilities were really good and bed was comfortable. Considering the location, the room was very quiet.

One tiny thing - there was no key provided to open the double glazed windows. They were unlocked on arrival but it was very easy to lock them by accident when looking for fresh air in the middle of the night!

Location was very good, in the city centre. Private parking available. Staff even came to help with the luggage AND went out of their way to buy some flowers for me, which I needed later that day. PErfect!! Thanks Roy 👍🏻

The room was very cold ono arrival and given it was winter, not easy to get comfortable, especially the bathroom (floor). Bathroomm itself was very modern, nivce and clean, Very good. Small minus point: There was nobody in the morning (7:30) so I could not get access to my car in the garage. Called multiple numbers, but only got somebody on the line at 7:45.
