The location is perfect for a couples stay, yes, it's located in a 3min walk from Moulin Rouge and the street it is on is filled with adult shops, but if you don't mind it or go in the other direction, down the Rue Pierre Fontaine, you will find a lot of amazing local cafes/restaurants and variety of shops (music/art/local designer, etc). The area was always busy and filled with life, specially during the evening, we enjoyed our stay very much, specially because of the lively yet quite location, easy access to transportation and walkable distances to different observatory objects. Staff was super friendly 24/7, we managed to check-in early upon arrival at 10am, there were also complimentary tea/water/candy and even pastries available at the front desk all the time. We did not take the breakfast option as there are countless amazing patiseries and boulangeries in the area. We were a little bit hesitant about walkable distance to, for example. Japanese district (filled with amazing ramen shops), but it was a pleasant 15-20min walk down an enjoyable area. Felt safe and relaxed at all times, despite the historical "stigma" around Montmarte area. I've personally stayed in more central areas such as 7th and 2nd, but would definitely book another stay in this neighborhood instead the next time we visit Paris.

The hotel has been opened just October 2023. So it's completely new and clean! So no bed bugs! 😅 Staff was friendly, specially Mr. Khalid he was a freindly guy with professional manner. I have stayed in several hotels in Paris before but I try to go here whenever possible. Location has 5 minute access to bus and metro stations.

No coffee or tea in the room. Breakfast limited. No open buffet. They will serve you with a natural juice, A coffee, two croissants, a baguette, a fruit yoghurt, butters and 3 jams. That's it!

Newly renovated hotel with a chic and modern design. Truly love the decor, from the lobby to the rooms. Loved that my room was ready in advance and they allowed me to check in (really) early! Huge points for this. Superior twin room was extremely spacious. Bigger than your average hotel room in Paris. Could easily walk around. Was pleasantly surprised. And very nicely decorated. Located in between 2 metro stops that serve two different metro lines so location is good and transportation was easy.

I wouldn’t consider this 4 star as they did not provide any amenities typical 4 star hotels provide. No robe, no slippers, no bathroom kit: cotton pads, cotton swabs, hand lotion, mini shampoo etc… This is the only thing missing from this hotel. Location not suitable for families with children as it’s located in the “red lights district” of Paris, so lots of sex shops around.

The staff was very nice and helpful, especially the night porter Mr. Khalid. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was very interesting (if you do not mind spicy shops). Metro was close by and all the good food and bar locations are just around the corner.

Artemisia Montmartre offers a stylish boutique style lodging in the Montmartre / Pigalle area of Paris. The hotel is as beautiful as it is clean and safe. While it was far from central Paris, which we thought was nice and enjoyed to be away from, especially during the Olympics, it was also close to some amazing restaurants, the Moulin Rouge, and Sacré Cœur. There are metros close by as well and taxis a plenty. Staff were extremely friendly and there was always at least one person in the main lobby should you need anything.

There was nothing to dislike about Artemisia Montmartre!

The hotel is located within several minutes walking distance from the Moulin Rouge. As a female solo traveller, I felt very safe walking around the area, and I didn’t worry once it became dark. However I am very careful of my personal safety. I arrived late afternoon and received the warmest of welcomes. The room was clean and tidy, however it would have been tight for two, therefore would suggest a larger room, if I was sharing. All the staff were very helpful and efficient and made it feel like a home away from home. The freely available hot drinks and cookies in reception is a very nice touch and great for when you arrive back from a day walking around Paris.

The stay at Artemisia has been one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The hotel is located in Montmartre close to Moulin Rouge and a walking distance from Sacre-Cœur. There are also several metro stations nearby. If you like walking, it takes around 40 minutes to get to the Louvre while enjoying cozy streets of Paris. We have been upgraded to a better room upon our arrival. Many thanks for that to the staff! The room was spacious and had an excellent view to the Sarce-Cœur. The staff were exceptionally nice! They helped us with any aspect of our stay in Paris where we needed help - from a cup of coffee and telling interesting facts about the hotel and the area to recommending a restaurant and talking to a French-speaking taxi driver. All of the receptionists speak fluent English as well as French. The cleaning was great and even done in the afternoon, so we could sleep in and take our time to get ready. Overall, it has been a great experience as I have previously mentioned. All the best to the hotel team!

Comfortable rooms and bed, nice decor, friendly welcome, good air conditioning, near metro station

The room size was very spacious by Paris standards. Very comfortable beds and all the staff were always so friendly. I loved that we were close to the Metro and also within easy walkable distance to Montmatre area. The hotel is off a side street and not noisy and we had an opening window that looked out to the street.

I stayed here with my 74 year old mother, the location is very close to the Moulin Rouge (plus all the sex shops). Saying this though - we never felt unsafe, and the area was always lively.
