Stayed 3 nights at Kiri Chiang Mai. The hotel is located within the Old City, about 5 mins walk to the famous Tha Pae Gate. It is also within walking distance to Wat Chedi Luang, the 3 Kings Statues, the Sunday Market and some other shrines and temples. The hotel has a very small room inventory so it is advisable to book early. All rooms are facing the rectangular swimming pool and it is a pretty sight to look at. The hotel is designed centric, cool and chic. It is inclined towards the clean line, black & white and minimalist design concept. The room is nicely decorated, not luxurious but functional and with some stylish elements such as the motif floor tiles and cement screeded ceilings. The bathroom is spacious, comprises only standing shower and WC. The glass panel can be shielded just by pressing a button. Pretty cool. The wash basin is located outside the bathroom, next to the open concept hanging wardrobe. The breakfast is charged at 250 Baht per person. Simple, adequate, value for money for the price that you paid for. It is an a la carte buffet and you can order as many as you wish. Nothing extravagant so do manage your expectations accordingly. The hotel is slightly more expensive than most of their competitors but it is still reasonably priced so if you are looking for a designed centric hotel with a pool, this is it!

No gym

Kiri Hotel was the second stop on our 2 week vacation in Thailand. It’s located in a great are of Chiang mai, very walkable with lot of options and a 7/11 just around the corner! The Lanna Market is just a 2 minute walk away walk away and is open everyday for great street food options! The night bazar is about a 15 minute drive but I recommend staying at Kiri to avoid all those crowds at night. Staff are excellent and super resourceful and always available to help with the any question! They did a beautiful set up for our honeymoon in the room! 100% recommend.

The location is great and located in a cute, quite alley near the main street. Swimming pool is stunning and oddly we were always alone there. The stuff members are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and most suitable for couples.

We didn’t like the water pressure in the shower. The hotel provides very small bottles of shampoo and body wash, enough for 1 person for 1 shower. They provided more when we asked but this is basic cleaning products that should be enough at least for 2 people. Although the bathroom is pretty big, there are no towel hangers (besides the ladder outside the bathroom), which was very inconvenient.

Great location and awesome to walk around the alleys of this side of Old Town. Pretty aspect overlooking the pool area. Nice view from the 4th floor dining area too. Friendly staff on site and there is overnight security presence too so it's nice and safe. Plenty of massage and food options within just a few metres and minutes of the hotel. Nice bath in the room. Great price overall! We enjoyed the location for walking better than other hotels we stayed at in town.

Noise from the pool area is a bit annoying as the hotel is quite small and the pool is the centre piece so you get a lot of noise when people are having fun in the pool. We were still able to relax and enjoy some downtime but just noting it does get pool noise throughout the day.

The staff at Kirim Hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and valued. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone I encountered was friendly, accommodating, and eager to assist with any request I had. The room was Impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. While the breakfast wasn't particularly spectacular, it still provided a satisfying start to the day. After all, sometimes simplicity is all we need, and the breakfast at Kirim Hotel certainly delivered on that front.

I liked everything

Excellently located and nicely designed (even if missing some storage space). Nice atmosphere and view over the charming Old Town. Kind staff, very fresh and good breakfast (both salty and sweet). Little walking distance from almost everything you need to see and visit.

The room lacked enough storage for baggage even if there was space where to put the bag and I found it uncomfortable even if this could not change my overall positive opinion on the place.

A small and friendly hotel in a great location. We chose this hotel based on other reviews on Tripadvisor, needless to say we have been super impressed, as we are still here now. It has a small pool which is great for those days when you wish to do nothing. Admittedly it does not get much sun but sometimes this is needed! The rooms are lovely and cleaned daily with towels being replaced. You get all amenities in your room so no need to bring these if you are trying to travel lighter. Location wise it's in the old town and for us personally the nicer part of Chiang Mai. Everything is walkable, with each corner you turn or street you go down having something to turn your head. The staff are super friendly and so polite. I must name drop one person as she has been fantastic during our stay going above and beyond - this is Jiby. She has been a star and we cannot thank her enough. All in all a cracking hotel and definitely one hotel to consider staying in if you visit Chiang Mai

Having stayed at various hotels in Chiang Mai over the past few years, this was the best experience. Great location and great value. The room, Delux with balcony, was very comfortable, the bed and linen better than some 5* places we have stayed. The breakfast options were good but for 2 out of 3 mornings rice was not available. The pool was refreshing, although loungers were limited by space. We will look stay here next time we are in Chiang Mai.

loved the location and proximity to the airport and old town. the hotel was beautifully designed, with a lovely pool and a view of the horizon. the staff were friendly and we were not in lack of any amenities. we enjoyed the bathtub and our little balcony.

the room got stuffy every time we left it for more than two hours - particularly in the toilet/ pantry area. we often found our skincare heated up and had to move it out to the main room. alongside the stuffiness came a strange musty smell. this didn't pose a huge problem however; the smell would dissipate after leaving the air conditioner on for a while.
