So much to see and explore. Loved hearing about the history of the q station. The restaurant was so wonderful. Food was delicious and plenty of choices

The rooms weren’t serviced properly. We weren’t given extra shampoo or soap. And the coffee cups and glasses weren’t cleaned.

The room was amazing. Spotless and comfortable. The view from our balcony was fabulous. The property is huge, and the shuttle drivers were wonderful getting us to where we needed to be. The bathroom was massive and luxurious. My hubby and I loved it.

The breakfast at the Views Restaurant. It was a buffet, and we had our booking half an hour before closing. There were some options that weren't replenished, and we missed out on our favourite breakfast options, particularly hash browns. Being vegan with reduced options, this was more disappointing for us, and we ended up having a very expensive breakfast of toast, some peaches, mushroom and tomato. The staff seemed put out by our lateness and same for a couple who arrived after us. The welcome was, "we are closing in ........ minutes." Not great.

Very quaint and interesting, peaceful and picturesque, once weather cleared. Staff generally helpful, despite communication issues.

We were there for three days of storms. The age of the buildings meant it creaked and groaned for three days and night solid. It was difficult to sleep through this noise as well as things blowing around outside. Movies in the room never worked despite calling reception. Advised to turn tv off! We were also there for a sports carnival. Despite communicating our requirements for early shuttles and luggage storage facilities to the day staff, only one driver was on duty for every morning. The message about luggage storage also wasn’t communicated. Food and drink insanely expensive on location.

We were in awe of the beauty of the location. Perfect scenery, very quiet and private, modest room size which was reasonably clean. Reception and some staff members were friendly with ready smiles. The meals at the Boilerhouse Restaurant were terrific, buffet breakfast was hearty with the right varieties and selections. The private beach was very inviting which offers calm and serenity with the idyllic setting.

The thing I did not like is the missing toilet and bath in the rooms. Having them external is such a discomfort and inconvenience. The ceiling fan is making rattling noise such that I did not have a good sleep. The corridor in the toilet and shower facility needs a good clean from spiders and cobwebs.

Loved the location and the cleanliness. Nice private swimming beach. Very convenient to the foundry where I was working. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was newly renovated and super clean. Shuttle bus was effective.

Unfortunately I went on Monday and Tuesday so all the onsite restaurants were closed. Placement of powerpoints was annoying. No powerpoints near bed for reading at night or near the fridge for the jug. I had to put the jug on the floor. No fly screens so at night you are totally enclosed in the room with no A/C or any windows that you open for ventilation. Luckily it was cool when I stayed there.

The location is remote in feel with spectacular views, yet close to Manly & Sydney. The hotel shuttle was easy to use. There is limited service between the hotel & Manly Wharf so be sure to check times. Staff is amazing. The restaurant a must-try. Do at least one of the tours to get the most of your stay.

The ceiling fan was powerful enough for spring temps, but I wonder how we’d do in the summer without AC at night. Wish there were USB plugs by the bed (I pulled out the mattress to use the outlet behind the bed; naturally, this is an Australian style so bring the applicable adapter).

Location is very special, such a unique and peaceful setting. Pretty old buildings, accomodation very nicely renovated.

Loud music from a wedding til late. Had to pay for random movies half watched children could pick, TV was set up in their room. Wi-fi not working, no info or assitance for this from the two numbers provided and rang. Reception is a shuttlebus trip away, I gave up. Shuttlebus times to Manly don't link with ferries. Cars were not allowed but a lot cars around, some of them looking like in need of a decent repair. Heard there was a sauna before, this would be very fitting with the style of the location! Would have loved that.

The staff at Q Station are amazing! I could not say better things, they were helpful throughout the entire trip. 1. Went out of their way to drive me to my room when I arrived late. 2. Rebooked the Haunted Tour immediately, after I was only person on tour. They kept me informed of changes. 3. After there was no reservations available for dinner, they volunteered to deliver the Uber Eats and were amazingly lovely! 4. Simon- Ghost Tour Guide- had gone way over on Tour time and created such a cool atmosphere! I did the museum, history walk, swam at beach, did sauna at Cedar and Ash, had a great solo experience!

None.

The location and views were absolutely stunning, and I loved getting to explore some of the old buildings and learning about the history of the site. The reception staff were amazing—they upgraded my room when they found out I was on a staycation to rest as a tired mum, which made my stay extra special. The shuttle bus was also super convenient and made getting around really easy. Highly recommend.

No air con in the room.

The position is beautiful, nice restaurant and outdoor dining area by the private beach and pier. Lovely views from some of the rooms. Lots of areas to explore. History behind the quarantine station was interesting.

Not many options food or drink wise, hillside bar etc only open on weekends or special occasions. Brekky very average for the price. Ferries no longer come to the pier which is a shame.
