Bed was surprisingly comfy, and the lady at reception was friendly and helpful.

A shuttle service to the airport would have been helpful. Taxis are expensive but there is a local bus you can take a short walk away.

Booking for the first time here, few days before my arrival, I called the hotel for more details and Colin, working for FOH was very helpful, professional, provided answers to all my questions and gave very good advise that I took it. Thank you and well done. On the other hand, the person who checked me in, although wrote down my request to order a cab for 5 am forgot to do that. I waited half an hour, nothing happened. When I asked the night staff to check what is happening, only that moment my cab was ordered and arrived in 5-10 minutes. More training should be provided to the FOH' staff regarding the importance of commitment to the customers' request, maybe?

on arrival the room was clean but there was a strong smell of chlorine that I wanted to disappear so tried to open the window but unfortunately there was no handle to do that. As someone with extensive experience working in hospitality, housekeeping should have been informed maintenance about the lack. Investing in repairing from time to time will do better for the property, in my opinion

Let's be straight, it's a budget hotel as reflected in the price. At the time we paid £72.00 so don't expect 5 star accommodation. We stayed there prior to an early flight the next morning so booked it on a room only basis. It's location to Stansted airport was perfect and the price was great too. The room was very basic, but it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfy. Parking was included and although the hotel is located on a service station, you can get off the site to the local area and have dinner in one of the local pubs or restaurants. For me, it ticked enough boxes to be happy to use it again.

Hotel was clean, friendly staff, easy check-in/out and the room was absolutely grand for what we needed as a simple overnight stay before an early morning flight. Amenities are good as it is right next to the services so access to food/groceries/shops for other items all right on your doorstep. Something to be aware of is that it is not right next to the airport (which is indeed stated in the hotel info so was not a surprise) and a taxi early morning to Stansted isn’t that cheap- £20 being the best deal through Metro taxis. The lovely lady driver recommended she leave us next to the airport rather than have to pay an additional £7 for an airport drop off, which was much appreciated as where she dropped us was a simple and short walk-in to the main terminal, without that extra ridiculous expense when the 8-10min car ride is pricey enough at £20!

Breakfast was lovely and were able to accommodate vegan. Beds really comfortable and rooms spacious. Receptionists were helpful although I booked in on line yet had to go through it all again when we arrived.

Nothing not to like

Room 101 was a well equipped room which was clean in every respect. Easy to make internet booking.. Price of a single night for two adult in a double room was extremely competitive. Comfortable (king dize) bed. Large TV (with Netflix). Iron & Board. Hair Dryer. Tea & Coffee. Body wash and clean towels. Extra bedding. Open wardrobe. Desk area.

Arrival was not good. We checked-in at half past midnight due to flight delays. On our arrival we was promptly sent to the wrong room which we attempted to access against an obstructed door. This was quite upsetting as our intrusion woke and startled the room occupants who where sleeping. This mix up was quickly resolved.

Staff were lovely, room was a good size, had good aircon, handy location to airport and other towns, good service area and eatery right nextdoor. Best part there was a revolution laundry right beside it. Restaurant was nice and breakfast was good.

Our room was very damp smelling and there was a lot of mould buildup in our shower, we stayed 4 days and had to ask for clean towels, daily house keeping should have been daily like clean cups and replenishing of tea, coffee etc and emptying bins. Other that it was good, maybe a different room next time.

Lovely staff welcome Karolina & Emily. Nice stay. Room adequate and well maintained. Coffee and tea in room good addition and shower worked well.. Breakfast good.and evening meal was excellent.

As with second visit not the hotels fault but state of pot holed car park make it a challenge to park especially in the dark! Not a good impression for visiting tourists and pressure needs to be put on those responsible.

I arrived at 3am and the lady on reception was excellent. She was clearly embarrassed when I told her the room hadn't been cleaned and offered to look for another room for me or at least change the sheets on the bed. I just wanted to crawl into bed so I told her I was happy to use the spare bed but she was very apologetic and kept asking if there was anything else she could do for me. The lady who was working in reception the following morning was excellent too and very helpful. Both ladies were a credit to the hotel.

When I arrived at 3am, the room hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupants. It didn't matter to me as there was another bed in the room so I used that and there was a clean towel too.

Every member of staff were so welcoming and attentive. We chose to eat in the restaurant and we are so glad we did. Our meals were cooked to order and so fresh and delicious We dined on the evening of the 15th August I had the gammon which was cooked to perfection Thankyou too you all it made our onward journey so much better

We didn't have breakfast due to early flight, But there what was sounding an internal door that kept banging maybe on the floor above us?
